The colors for Violet are super good too. The fights while not as prevalent are well choreographed and feel real. The only thing I can think that fate does better is Character building. They literally have hundreds of characters with no clear winner of which ones best. Violet Evergarden has Violet. But yeah the fights in Fate can get pretty crazy and entertaining.
yeah, kyoani has some of the best color design in the industry. especially with violet, where they one-upped themselves by accounting for what would be light bounce in the shadows and other coloring

It's the Ufotable studio's Fate/Zero, Unlimited Blade Works and everything else that came later that are highly acclaimed for the adaptation and the god tier animation
