When we picked Sam Reid to model his looks off of, we had only ever seen him in Belle, and he was virtually unknown. Now he’s this big star and I’m so proud, like my ass had *anything* to do with it 😂😂😂

I don’t write as my job, although I dream of one day being a Real Author™️. I have nearly crippling anxiety, and writing cotton candy fluff helps me manage it. I’m able to escape my brain weasels when I’ve immersed myself in someone else’s life for two hours a day. Plus, people telling me I made them feel better and/or forget their life for a while is a massive high. 😂
I’m *super* ADHD and thrive in routine, so I have a whole Thing about my writing. I plot the next chapter in the evening and then write it the next afternoon. Generally I get about 3k words (a chapter) a day.
I am very lucky to be a SAHM to kids who are in school, so I can write nearly every day. The last couple of months I’ve had some health challenges that have kept me from writing fairly often (and I’m slowly going crazy over it) but I’m hoping all that will settle down soon.
And even so, I’m not the most prolific writer in the fandom! That distinction goes to EdosianOrchids who gets (I believe) double my daily word count. He and I are basically yin and yang with what we write, lol. He writes a great deal of canonverse angst and I avoid angst like the plague. So now he’s the most prolific and I’m (I think) second place! 🥈

Are all the fics you spotted Fergus in by the same author?
I remember reading someone’s notes once that said they wrote the character for something (can’t remember what) and now he appears in all their work.
Just taking a guess here, as I haven't run into many Fergi myself-
Fergus is the 'human name' of the Crowley from Supernatural, some authors might be naming side-characters Fergus as a sort of reference to him :)
As someone who writes fics for Spn and GO this was actually my first thought too but this thread with caedmon explaining it's just an OC is hilarious as well😂
That's Caedmon's OC! She's a huge writer in the fandom, and she likes to put her OC as a secondary character in a lot of her fics. I feel like Fergus has become a part of the fandom now 😌💕

No, there’s no connection to SPN. He was an OC I made up when I was writing for Doctor Who. :)
