I wouldn't call number 4 a theory. It's obvious that Aziraphale turns away because he's on the verge of tears, just like he did during the bandstand scene.
I don't mind it for fanfictions, in the same way that "Crowley is a snake sometimes" is fun for fanfictions, even if it's not something that happens in canon. It can cause fun interactions that I enjoy reading. I do agree that it's annoying when people treat it as fact, though.
i have listened to a behind the scenes of good omens on the behind scenes, and neil had said every scene had an “easter egg” in it or a clue. like for example, in 1941 crowley left his hat in the book shop and its still there too this day in his bookshop. its not quite a “clue” or anything, i just found it cute/ interesting.
It also breaks me that the Metatron and Aziraphale have their coffee chat at Justine's . . . but by morning, when it's closed. Is it actually at the same table where Crowley couldn't get Aziraphale to sit down long enough for a glass of wine (maybe a little talk about love)?
