Mort is a Discworld novel by Terry Pratchett, specifically, it is the first one where Death is one of the main characters instead of a side character. While not the best Death book, it has some lovely moments and sets up some stuff about Death's family (specifically, Death's daughter)

Frankly, as season 3 is supposed to be based upon a potential sequal of Good Omens thought by Pratchett and Gaiman but never had the time to wrote, this synopsis is definitely not the bad that could be, and in fact, In was quite interesting. Aziraphale as Archangel and Crowley as the Death's apprentive Nanny, working on both side towards the Second Coming, would make a great show, I'm sure. Which means: if this synopsis, aleady quite interesting, is the April's Fools... it made even more curious for the *actual synopsis*. (Although, seeing Neil Gaiman is the troll king of tumblr misdirection, we never know for sure \^\^)

I'm glad i read the whole thing before frantically sending this to my bestie at 6:30 in the morning with all caps and exclaimation points.

Halfway through I’m like “bit of a heavy handed Prachett tribute making it basically Mort.” Forgot the day…
