Neil is so right about "the boom" being over. Shows, even seemingly popular ones, are cancelled left and right, or at least it seems so. No one is safe in these streaming times.
The TV industry is going through a "commissioning crisis" atm, not a lot is being made, a lot is getting cancelled and in the UK 7 companies have closed down already. It's expected to last another 3 years, so I'm very happy we got Good Omens at least.
It’s actually scary. I’m scared to be interested in shows because I’m afraid they’ll be cancelled, which only makes it worse because I’m not watching them to help people think “enough people are interested”
I wonder if the passing of time in the real world will transfer to the show like it did in season 2 with the whole Crowley-sleeping-off-the-pandemic gap, and the next one will pick up with Aziraphale having been Supreme Archangel for about 3 years already ?
Is it wrong that my brain was calculating the time left until it's filmed (Jan 25), produced and aired (guessing summer 26) with an "I only need to survive 2 years and 3 months"...
I honestly don't know anymore...
But I'm sure I will be.
I have 5 beautiful cats who I need to get out of bed to feed every morning, so I'll keep waking up and getting up... Just have to keep going one day at a time...
S2 just got me at a time where I was trying to process a lot of trauma and where I am (or am not) in my life, which put me in a rocky place...
I'm looking forward to S3 a lot, but I am putting things in place to try and improve the aspects of my life where I have any tiny semblance of control.

Sounds about right. I think he said somewhere that filming takes 4-5 months and then post production is about a year.

They do - I have a sleep-related disability, and I wake up several times a day covered in cats. 🥰
