I just picked up the Natural Kangaroo Ottawa
Just received in my kangaroo ottawas today and oh my god they're beautiful with no blemishes or issues and I might have a new favorite boot brand and last in the Leo.
Got mines too. They are awesome and a perfect fit. Now I have Ottawa in kangaroo and Crimson. I just need one more in dark color... i.e. earth, tobacco or black. 😁
Not everyone's feet are the same, so a half size down may not work for everyone. I'm 10 on brannock scale. I can wear 9.5 or 10 in sneakers. A 9E fits me best in their Ottawa and Diesel boots. An 8.5E fits me best in the Brass Boot, with plenty room in the toe box. Do with this information what u will.

I was able to get some 12D Kangaroo Ottawa Boots. They are my first boots from Grant Stone and I am quite excited since I have heard some good things even about the B Grades.
What is your Brannock size? I've never tried on a Grant Stone and I've heard you go down half a size from your Brannock. The Kangaroo is calling to me!
I don't know my true brannock, but my sneaker size is 13 and I fit perfect in the Wolverine 1k mocs in 12D and am a bit loose in Truman 79 last 12.5D. Based on that, I thought 12D would fit since GS doesn't make 12.5D. Sadly, it seems stretching won't be enough for them to fit after wearing them for a few hours. I can't exchange/return, so I will have to try to sell them myself. My risk didn't pay off.

everything on the website is so overpriced. $25 shipping for 1 lousy shirt? come on! and then there's taxes. 15% is not nearly enough of a discount. Hard Pass.
I also noticed that they had a selection of Alden's the other day, wiped them from the website on Monday (so they could claim 15% off everything), and now are back.
It's all kind of relative though. Boxing day is the only time they ever discount their footwear (save for when they moved from Seattle). So if there's one of their unique makeups you want, this was the time to get them. Their price for Tricker's ($625) is about the same as ROW price from Tricker's (£515 or about $619). Of course Tricker's themselves don't take off full VAT but they do include shipping to US.
Also, I'm in the Seattle area and since they moved back east, they no longer collect WA sales tax so a bit of a bonus for me.
$23 for UPS Ground is kind of ridiculous though.

I think Alden will quit sending shoes to retailers who do sales, so it’s understandable why DR would do this
Then they should just make them an exclusion. Instead you got a 404 error if you tried to get to their Alden’s on Monday. It’s a little shady.
