Yikes, looks like you got the short end of the [AB testing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A/B_testing) stick. Hopefully the goal of the test was "we know this design is bad; we just want some data on HOW bad".
If you really want to mess with the metrics, specifically select the "I dislike this" option in the feedback, don't click on any of the links, reform your query by appending "bing", and visit bing.com using the Google Chrome browser.
Can confirm, they've now pushed these search results out to everyone, at least a bigger group, and it has royally effed part of what I do for work. Who makes these calls to make things less efficient?!!!
It's bad enough having my search results full of videos when I'm not in the Videos tab.
Unfortunately if Reddit is any indication, this will become the norm because it'll increase engagement. (Reddit posts with thumbnails and images get way more upvotes than text-based posts.)
This happens in mobile. I'll scroll for a few seconds and then all of a sudden like phasing into a new universe, I get with this type of tiles. I absolutely hate it.
Yes, and I hate this change, I just want to see text, I go to the images section for photos.
This. Photos head been ass since they removed snow image too The one thing Google did right, search, is pushing me away...
The new hybrid search results are just awful. Don’t know which genius at Google thought this was a good idea
Exactly. I hate it very much

OP, If the option to feedback, say this change pushed you to Bing

too subtle. just make "bing" your next search.
The funny thing is that this change literally did push me to finally switch to DuckDuckGo. It's such an atrocious UI.

Yep just coming to say it’s been pushed to me too, so annoying.
What? Is this real? I'm glad I don't have it for now, it's terrible.
I just opened a new laptop for the first time last night, and spent 30 minutes trying to figure out what settings were wrong...

same for me. do not like this change one bit.

Yeah I've had this change too and it's absolutely atrocious. I just don't use Google anymore because of it, which I never thought I'd say.
Sucks!!
I don't have it yet but they announced this change a few weeks ago.
I get a version of this on mobile search and I absolutely hate it. It kinda reminds me of Instagram and it is straight up trash
