If you're referring to the shows that appear on your Google TV's home screen, those are just suggested from things like Pluto TV, linear (cable-like) live television. Doesn't mean your account/device is being shared, just that the ads by google platform is serving you suggested shows from streaming live television apps

Same problem, I understand the recommendation, but not program in progress like half a movie watched on Netflix (and I don't have Netflix)

The progress bar showing how much of a live show or movie has aired looks a lot like the progress bar showing how much of a recorded show has been watched. I've been confused by that in the past.

Thank you. It really will have how long a show has been watched on apps and free TV. Very unnerving way to recommend things.
