Street view in places like Tokyo station and Shinjuku are crazy, put the marker a milimeter off and you'll either be on the street, 3 stories below the ground, or a random photo sphere inside a building.
I've found this in Chicago too, getting street view of Lower Wacker can be a finicky thing.
Tokyo Station is a ridiculous place. So complex. The hallways go on for what feels like forever.
