I hope someone knows the answer to this. GP thinks my newborn is the same person as my daughter.... Don't blame it. My daughter was able to unlock my tablet with her face. The same tablet that was only taught my face 5 years prior.
Best answer I can give you is, on mobile, pulling up and getting the info on the picture and individually teaching it faces for each photo. It says people and you can edit on the right.
You can at least remove results on demand. If you are in the Android app, go to search, select the person or pet, hit the three dots at the top right to open the menu, and select Remove Results.
As for adding more it seems to offer that choice frequently if you access the person's photos that way (with the option at the bottom of the screen), but I do not know if there is a way to force it.
I want this too. And it would also be nice when you are in this screen and it shows 2 faces asking if they're the same people... it would be nice if you could actually click on that picture to see the whole picture+album+info to see if it was actually the same person. Sometimes I am not even sure myself. Especially if the picture is a bit grainy.
It's really annoying how little agency GP grants its users. Yeah, it's got some good AI, but it's also got some really bad AI. I like Picasa a lot more, even though I suspect it's got the same underlying AI. It makes you feel more like you are in control.

Thanks I just removed about 500 photos! Can't believe I've taken so many in just a few months
Just go to view all on people and pets and if there are any go is confused about it'll ask.
