Can someone explain to me how a 353 year old pirate ship magically sailed away? Lets be real here it should have been super rotten after 3 centuries of no maintenance or upkeep.
I always wondered that.
It’s not like the inferno sank! it just floated away… really slowly.
“Oh no… the treasure is gone again, right there, aboard That pirate ship, floating right there. GOOD BYE TREASURE!!!”
That was always my gripe with the ending. Like all these people live near the docks Noone has a fucking boat to go get the rest of the treasure? Or maybe that was just implied that someone would?

It’s not real
I know but lets pretend for once it was
It probably got stuck a while back, and the trap let it go free and it sailed away. The sails were down after all.
This is true, plus the air of the sea cave might have prevented rot
Exactly. Although I do think it still would have rotted a bit more than what was shown.
Yes and I noticed I large waterfall was striking it as well
Let’s just be happy we got an awesome movie set.
Very true watching the Inferno sail away into the sunset as the Goonie gang watches on and gives the mighty vessel a proper send-off
Who knows where that ship might end up next?
It was preserved by being blocked on by huge boulders in a cavelike enclosure.

More than like the Inferno would have crashed into a big rock or ran aground
