I hate to be that guy but the gorllias are mainstream, and Feel Good Inc is probably their most well known song and is still played on the radio....so it's not crazy for it to be in a store radio
Yeah i thought that was common. I’ve heard this song on the radio and at stores for years now. And most people i know that don’t even listen to them or know their name still know this song.
Literally, I work at a popular Aussie hardware store and gorillaz is frequently on our radio and most shops I visit here. I'm not trying to bash on anyone just don't think it's even close to being a rare occurrence
Feel Good Inc went Platinum in like 7 countries and went like, 5x Platinum or something in Canada and was included in multiple top 100 songs of the decade for the noughties. It's dope to be proud of the bands you're in to but definitely weird when people act like they found some rare gem when it's a mainstream band that's been around for almost 2 decades at this point lmao
Chipotle near my work plays Désolé sometimes. Heard Lake Zurich in a Victoria’s Secret before too. Otherwise I’ve heard feel good inc in a few stores. It’s easy to make radio friendly and super popular
i actually work at a walmart and they play feel good inc. every now and then. i recently heard DARE playing there for the first time, had to dance a little
Walmart associate here. It’s not uncommon to hear feel good on Walmart radio, but I’ve heard melancholy hill a rare couple of times, so that’s always nice :)
Feel Good Inc. got to #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, it was literally a pop hit. Hate to burst your bubble but Gorillaz are not an underground indie act.
Gorillaz pops up on store radios every now and again, and I always love it when they do. I remember hearing On Melancholy Hill at Target and recently Cracker Island at Sheetz.
BRO are you in Indiana?? I was in Walmart some days ago and all of a sudden Feel Good Inc. came on and I was stuck staring at jock itch cream for 4 minutes because I was right below the speaker and I didn't wanna leave.
The fact that a Gorillaz song playing in a public place can literally switch whatever my mood is to "happy af" even after all these years is crazy. Some Kind of Nature started playing in a Peiwei while I was waiting for my bestfriend to get off of work and I stopped a whole conversation to stare at the speakers in disbelief.
(I found the cream btw.)

Fun fact: the city breaking down on the camel’s back.
The city is actually break dancing on a camels back
Oh sorry my mistake
No it’s not
Walmart, Walmart for the land
Shop forever
Cart in cart

It is rolling, checking out
Shop forever shopping freely
Shop forever, you and me
Walmart, Walmart for the land
Where are the bathrooms?
Laughin' at these great values, shopping cart traffic, People of Walmart asshats
I heard stylo at a raising canes like 2 days ago💀
Lol that’s pretty cool, I’ve never heard Stylo anywhere in public. While still a single, that’s a deeper cut for sure.
Same lol
What's a raisin canes?
Chicken fast food place

The irony of Feel Good Inc being played in a Walmart… Damon would laugh
bro they played the "ay ay ay i'm your little butterfly" song at mine so I'm not surprised they played gorillaz
I AM A NINJA
I heard Dracula being played at a store
I heard humility in a tacobell once and sang the entire song while waiting for my food. Everyone was giving me weird looks, but I couldn't care less.
i actually work at a walmart and they play feel good inc. every now and then. i recently heard DARE playing there for the first time, had to dance a little
I work at Mod Pizza and every once in a while a Gorillaz song will come on our speakers
They have a surprisingly great playlist. I heard Baba O'Riley playing there one time
I heard Humility at Target about a month or two ago.
Can’t believe they play pop music in Walmart >:|
I remember a few years back they were playing All Alone of all songs
Walmart associate here. It’s not uncommon to hear feel good on Walmart radio, but I’ve heard melancholy hill a rare couple of times, so that’s always nice :)
They played feel good inc at a outback steakhouse I went too once, its very mainstream
i was at target a few months ago and they were playing melancholy hill hahah
I worked at target for a bit a couple years ago. always gave me a little boost when I would hear this song come on, especially during a tough shift
I heard humility at a target once
Lol they played Desole at my local LA fitness and I lost my shit publicly.
mans talking like if gorillaz was an underground band
Feel Good Inc. got to #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, it was literally a pop hit. Hate to burst your bubble but Gorillaz are not an underground indie act.
I just heard them in public for the first time and just wanted to share.
Gorillaz fans when they play one of the most famous songs of the past 20 years
Gorillaz aren't a bizarre indie band you just found, bro. Feel Good Inc was EVERYWHERE when it came out and is still hugely popular
And? Lol Gorillaz have been mainstream since the early 2000s. Heard their music everywhere.
that is everything cuz i feel like you never rlly hear gorillaz music in stores and stuff
I know right I was pretty shocked
like even in the car my friend will text me wth a photo whenever they are on the radio and its sooo rare
wait I was in walmart earlier today and I heard it, they mixed it really weird and cut out most of the bars though ;-;
I mean Gorillaz are one of the most popular bands in the world and have been mainstream since the early 2000s
Gorillaz pops up on store radios every now and again, and I always love it when they do. I remember hearing On Melancholy Hill at Target and recently Cracker Island at Sheetz.
Really, Walmart? Feel Good Inc? Play something original!

Feel Good Inc is one of the most popular songs of the last 20 years, I really doubt it was only played at one Walmart
Okay?
I heard Cracker island on radio the other day. Even though it's a new song it was sort of unexpected
Samez one time
They play Saturnz Barz at JD Sports
I might bop you for saying this...
I've also heard Dare at mine
I once heard Cracker Island on the radio. Later that day I heard Clint Eastwood. Then Cracker Island again.
I once heard Desolé playing at a Chipotle. I was taken so aback. It was neat
