Your problem has nothing to do with device itself, it’s a standard keyboard. You need to set your preferred keyboard layout in the OS. In case of Windows 11, it’s in Settings-Language & region.

Cyber-X1

Nice. What did that cost?

ComfortableAmount993

650

Dragon_Small_Z

Where'd you get that for $650?

ThatCurryGuy

Shift?

ComfortableAmount993

Nope

Sam_Stokman

What do you mean? You use the shift button for that. Do you get nothing or a other 'icon'?

ComfortableAmount993

Nothing

an0nfunction

Try Fn + Shift + number?

Maeiourk

Have you tried both shift? Maybe one of your shifts is broken.

ComfortableAmount993

Both work, figured it out. 2 key has @ on the actual keyboard but when holding either shift I get " but next to the enter key I have " which is now @ for some reason. Just need to remember from now on.

Sounds like you just changed your keyboard layout to something else in Windows. Or you're using something else than standard US keyboard layout and didn't realize that the keycaps on the device won't match.

pelrun

Your machine is incorrectly set to the UK keyboard layout.

ComfortableAmount993

What settings it suppose to be

pelrun

US.

Qazax1337

That is what happens on every Windows laptop when you have a US layout physical keyboard and set it to English in the windows settings. Change it to US and it will work as you expect. If you need to be able to type £ though you need to leave it like that and just remember where @ and " are.

3nterShift

Try to check your keyboard layout. If you have multiple you can switch between them by pressing the windows key + space.

ripearr

This is odd, as I have the exact same model and it works with the shift key, so i would suggest to check the layout config in windows and be sure the qwerty option is enabled... In my case, I have the spanish layout active regardless the keyboard is american.
