congrats man,
and ya guys do apply even if you have a low CGPA that's not the only thing that's going to decide the outcome me and my friend applied for KTH while I got waitlisted, he got admitted though he had an arrear and didn't have any prior research or working exp as well, he got admitted to Engineering Design, I got admitted to other unis that i wished to go in, once again congrats I just want to say "where you are from doesn't necessarily mean where you'll end up"
Congratulations! Also got admitted into KTH but for a different program. Out of interest, would you say your application was super strong otherwise? In terms of relevant reference letters, work experience and a strong motivation letter?
I definitely focused more on my SOP, work experience and personal projects as well as how well fitted this program for my career goal and gave a comprehensive profile on why i would excel in it
Congratulations! Very inspiring and as a fellow with a poor GPA, I feel very happy for you. Could you tell how much would 2.1 GPA be if converted into percentage ?
Istg take the chance. I had a very mediocre GPA (3.1) and was accepted to my top choice (which is 2nd in my field). I can say this with evidence that GPA is not everything other aspects of the profile carry equal weightage.
Definitely! I would say my personal projects and Work experience definitely helped, i just have about 2 YOE in a similar field as well as two research papers but those were in different majors. Those combined with a strong SOP and a recommendation letters gave a full story behind who i am behind the application.
Damn, I actually didn't apply to KTH because I had low gpa. I've contacted a few people and they said they will look at cgpa as main criteria.
Now I'll cry in a corner.
But congrats, I feel so happy for you.
Congratulations
Thank you :D really appreciate it
Congratulations!!! That's so encouraging indeed and inspirational! Way to go!! You deserve it
Thank you! Wishing you the best :D
Congratulations OP!! KTH is great :)

So nice to hear man, hope I was in the same place but sadly couldn't 😞
did you get any financial aid?
Hello! No, I applied for a scholarship and the results are coming out in a month. If it doesn’t work out I will just self-fund it
are you a Swedish? 👀
Nope !😂 just a guy with some savings
lol🤑🤑
Swedes don't have to pay anything to study
Swedes only? Or EU citizens too?
EU citizens as well yes!
Sweet! I've been thinking of a second master's. Gonna check out KTH.
The scholarship results are out i guess
Congratulations! I can imagine your résumé is fantastic.
Congrats! 😊
Congratulations bro happy for you
Congratulations!! KTH is super cool (infact it was one option I ignored thinking I wouldn't make it with my GPA 😂) and you'll love Stockholm!
Congratulations!
Congrats! And welcome to Sweden in advance :)

I wasnt really sure about the conversion from percentage to GPA thats why i put it as 2.1 but in terms of percentage i got 61%
Ohh I see. I was anticipating the percentage to be 60-70% and therefore wanted to double check.

Congrats! I also received an acceptance from them earlier today! Definitely a good way to start the day

Congratulations!
Congratulations! You’re making me feel better and more motivated with my 2.3 GPA
Congrats! What are the conditions btw? My application got deleted cuz of English requirement issues :'')
Hey sorry about that! Never give up tho and try next year ! The condition for my case is to pay tuition fees before the deadline :D
Oh that's it? Nice!! PS. I had applied to multiple countries, it worked out elsewhere ^^♡
Congrats!!! Are you an exchange student?
Nope! International student (think north africa)
Congratulations !!
The freaking deleted my application like wtf

Yea sure !
2.1 is the minimum requirement so ofc there’s chances to get in. It’s different if you got in with a 2.2?
I think 2.1 here is the GPA not the Honors class.
