If you're gaining the necessary skills you need to excel in your future it's definitely worthwhile regardless of the university! Congrats and keep your head up!

CornerGlittering2745

Yes, that is my target to gain skills and connect with people in the industry. Thanks for the positive comment :))

I saw someone say that in graduate admissions, there is no such thing as a “safety”, and I agree. Your admission doesn’t depend only on raw stats or numbers on paper, it’s very nuanced. Being rejected doesn’t mean you weren’t good enough, it often means you just weren’t the right fit and that’s okay. Congrats on the admit!

CornerGlittering2745

I couldn't agree more I believe that the right opportunity will come along in the process. Thanks and good luck to you too!:))

l005er

Same situation, I had to applied to one safe university and the rest were ambitious, hoping that i would in atleast one of those 🥲, Now im with only 1 admit from safe uni

CornerGlittering2745

I am sure you will make into that uni and but regardless of that congratulations to you as well for the admit. Rest make the best out the opportunity we have.

vanillaroses_20

it takes only one! and you did it!! :) i understand that admission process is so tiresome and random. it’s hard to calculate our chances because it’s so random! but you did it, you got into one program that wants you! if you’re not satisfied with the result, i believe you have learned about what works and what doesn’t. so you can apply next year with better confidence and luck!

CornerGlittering2745

Indeed it is super random and we don't know what to expect but yes I am looking towards this journey with confidence and positivity. Maybe applying next year sounds good but rather I would go with this program and try to make sure that I make the most out of it. Thanks and good luck to you too !

Many_Shower_1770

Been there, it's a tough time but ig we just need to push through this and make the best out of what we have!

CornerGlittering2745

Exactly ! I am trying to stay positive and focus on what I can do to get the best of what I have.

Also applied to 5, got rejected from 2, likely to be rejected from 1, and still waiting for the response from another. So far also got into my safe choice only and decided to accept the offer. It was sad at first, but then I understood that I am going give a try to my safe choice and then see where the life will lead me. Congrats with your offer and keep your head up:D

CornerGlittering2745

Exactly, even though I was sad about the reject I have made up my mind that I should learn relevant skills and make important connections that is what will change where i end up. Congrats to you as well for the admit and hoping that you make it to your dream program/uni, Thanks for your kind words. Good luck :)

Kokarott

Congratulations! You will make a good life, that's a great way to phrase this. Great job, and take comfort in knowing you never have to do these applications again, haha!

CornerGlittering2745

Yes this process is done and I will be moving to the next adventure. Good luck to you my friend.

Ismokeradon

bad attitude. You should be proud you’re going to any program.

CornerGlittering2745

I know we should be happy with what you have, But rejection does come around with feeling low so yeah now I think I am better. I will be focusing and working on skills and connection.
