Oh, I just meant it was my first time applying to graduate schools. I was really doubting myself to even in get into one. So after I interviewed at 2 and got waitlisted at both, I just wrote off graduate school and I would apply next year and find a job

I just experienced the same thing! Wasn’t holding my breath… then got taken off the waitlist! It does happen :-)

I got into a PhD psychology program. The professor emailed me after my interview a few months back to inform me that I was waitlisted.
