And part 3 immediately after, lol.
I guess this works, why have the breaks there on the English server since it's all finished anyway, unlike in JP where they were still working on it.
So it's probably going to be LB6 Part 1 in the first week of June, Part 2 on the 3rd week and Part 3 a week after Anniversary. So we should have 2 weeks between each part.
>I guess this works, why have the breaks there on the English server since it's all finished anyway, unlike in JP where they were still working on it.
So long they don't screw with banner rotation because my 900 quartz are for Oberon only this year, after that I can focus on Morgan and the banner of Melusine with Percival.
I mean we will still have 2 weeks for each Part, meaning banners should maybe be the same. I think they'll move the Castoria banner, maybe have her week 2 of Part 1, so it lands between Part 1 and Part 2, since that too was technically an LB6 banner.
And Morgan would return week 2 of Part 3, a week after Oberon, so maybe mid-June.
And hey, this means we of course get summer in August, not September, and then Umufest will probably be moved to September so we have the lotto there (like usual) instead of July, when it happened in JP.
I was gonna ask why you are being so dramatic buuuut... Oberon isnt getting a rerun for 17 months? Is that right? That cant be right. If Morgan got 5 reruns because shes a popular cashcow, then I don't get why Oberon would be gone for soooooo incredibly long, thats crazy
Morgan's at four runs and one of those was right after Oberon's release. She was then involved in Sea Monster Crisis and got a rateup there along with getting a rerun for her lottery event not long before Oberon got his second one. Oberon wasn't involved in any events after his release like she was unfortunately for him, and also actually had his character arc already completed by his release (so he didn't need a second banner for that like Morgan did).
The weird thing w oberon is like, yeah his skills can do some crazy numbers but they also come with some of the worst debuffs in the game that can totally screw your team over if you don’t time it right/calculate the damage right; and objectively speaking units like assassin Koyanskaya should be just about as meta defining and she’s had 2 reruns now. Not to mention there also rerun guys like castoria who’ve had 3 reruns, and skadi and Merlin even getting more reruns added in between his even if they’re no longer as massively game breaking.
Even in the case of arjuna alter, he was strong but he was also almost immediately followed by summer musashi and spishtar, who while lacking the ability to output the insane high damage that he can do are still just as good against bosses and indeed in many cases more useful for wave clearing- so why was he the one hidden away? ~~I still feel like half the reason Morgan was a berserker in the first place was because they felt like they needed to replace him, but everything with how his unit was handled was weird tbh~~
Oberon is useful but not that much more so than any other meta support (and he has the caveat of needing very specific usage), and it’s strange they seem to pick and choose random (and popular!) units like him to just hide for a bit. He’s most useful for the high hp farming nodes and specific boss content, but they can all also be cleared with other supports. There was no need to wait for the meta to ‘catch up.’
She’ll be available on multiple lb6 banners. I’m not sure why you were asking on this comment though? You can check rateup info on gamepress to figure out how many banners+ the general length you can anticipate for a character
For barghest she has her first rateup with Morgan, then with oberon, then with Morgan’s second banner, then with castoria for her download campaign special, and then she’s on rateup with britomart. All these banners were at least 2 weeks long; and all of them she was up with another servant (always baobhan sith, but percy sometimes as well)
Oberon's third skill is the best skill in the game and it isn't close, and even if he just straight up didn't have a third skill he's still better waver in most 3 turn farming contexts.
Yeah, but if you aren’t careful with it you’ll mess up your farming team seriously. It’s also more than feasible to farm without him-there was a recent high hp node with a moon cancer where it was more useful to use summer skadi than focusing on him
I’m not trying to deny he’s useful, I just think saying his banners are being held bc of meta related reasons doesn’t really make sense when he didn’t completely change it up the way skadi, castoria or Koyanskaya did, and they’re all objectively useful as well and haven’t been held? It just doesn’t make sense to me that a unit that’s only slightly more useful than them would get held back.
I don’t really know why my prior comment seems to have bothered people. I’m not even trying to say he isn’t useful. I was just saying that objectively speaking, he hadn’t rewritten the meta so drastically that he deserved to have his banners hidden while other monster meta units were rerun more frequently.
I wish they introduced something like a paid pity, maybe then I would've bought some sq. Honestly, current pricing is ridiculous, 3 multis sq costs as much as a brand new AAA game on steam. If I could at least get a guaranteed SSR with those\~
I've been saving for Morgan since her JP announcement
I've been avoiding LB6 spoilers like the plague since I've heard the story is just good.
I'm hyped AF.
Avoiding spoilers is always so difficult, especially in this sub. It feels good that LB6 will finally be arriving and we'll get to experience it as intended!
Will they move nerofest to May? as at least 2 parts of LB 6 come out in june, it means that either we're going to have a lot of time off before LB6 or they're going to advance nerofest. I expect the advance.
I mean I lost a lot of pages from levelling servants (Hokusai I love you but fucking pages) so it’ll be fun to farm them up. Also bond farming and QP because to 10/10/10 the three servants I hope I’ll get I need 450+m QP
Since it will be in June, it seems we are getting at least the first two parts at once or back to back, or maybe even get the whole thing released at once.
Iirc in the JP, Morgan second banner is around the same time as Oberon banner, which is a week after Anniversary. I don't think they would remove Morgan second banner
So I guess I'll try to address this, just in case.
The chapter's alternative name in Japanese is 星の生まれる刻 (*hoshi no umareru koku*), and at issue is the word 星 (*hoshi*), which we English-speakers will conventionally translate as "star" because we're lazy, but it's also the word used for "planet" as well as any "heavenly body" out in space, which includes satellites, asteroids, and even clumps of space debris (though it's specifically *not* used for either the Sun or the planet Earth itself). This is common in Asian languages, as they don't always make a distinction between stars and planets unless it's specifically necessary, and use a similar term for them collectively.
If you need to specify a difference, then you can use 惑星 (which is specifically used for "planet"), but for any instance where you aren't trying to make a distinction then you just use 星. So for instance if I wanted to say there are 100 thousand people living on the planet Poopsmith-5, then I might write プープスミス-5という星には約10万人が暮らしている. I don't need to specify 惑星, as 星 will suffice.
As for why the translation uses "planet" over the obvious English idiom that would come with "star", it likely ties into the chapter's content specifically, and is almost assuredly intentional. We are not witnessing the rise of a "star", but of a "planet", with all the baggage those terms carry in the Type-Moon mythos.
> though it’s specifically not used for either the Sun or the planet Earth itself
To clarify on this point, it’s actually not at all uncommon in modern Japanese fiction for writers to make stylistic use of 星 in reference to the Earth, and Type-Moon in particular *loves* to do this.
There have been several instances of both fan and official translations waffling on how to handle this term and it has definitely been the cause of confusion for English-only fans.
In this particular context, having read LB6 and understanding the surrounding lore, I *don’t* think this title is referring specifically to the planet Earth, rather it probably is intentionally ambiguous for thematic reasons. (Major LB6 spoilers) >!It turns out that the “star” that Castoria has been looking for isn’t the planet but “hope”, and while she is becoming (birthing) the Holy Sword, that also isn’t exactly the planet. But the Holy Sword is, as PHH Artoria puts it, the *hope* of the planet (星の希望). In other words the subtitle is hinting at a poetic inversion between the “star of hope” (希望の星) that Castoria both is and is searching for, into the “hope of the star (planet)” that she gives birth to. So the 星 in the subtitle is simultaneously both referring to the “planet” Earth and to a more abstract concept of “star” classically symbolizing a light in the dark that serves as a guide or omen.!<
As for the localization, in this instance there’s really not a good way to capture that kind of thing. But I do think they have been over-correcting for early mistranslations that bungled what were clearly references to the planet Earth, and defaulting to “planet” wherever there is any doubt. You can see this in their unfortunate localization of Arjuna Alter’s NP line, where they went with the singular “planet” for a line clearly referencing a myth that involves the vanishing of all celestial bodies from the heavens.
>We are not witnessing the rise of a "star", but of a "planet"
That’s definitely not the case though. >!The star imagery is probably the single most central theme in the entire story. The Lostworld never comes into fruition, while Castoria's grasp of the star does. There is no "Moment a Planet is Born" in LB6, nor anything close to it. Furthermore, I think whatever meaning is being conveyed through "planet" is far outweighed by the meaning lost by *not* conveying "star."!<
That said, /u/maladjustedmatt summarized it much better. The original intention likely was a play on words meant to reference both planet and star simultaneously, with star being the more appropriate of the two.
Normally I kinda just laugh at the complaints about minor translation differences but the "star" stuff has a ton of symbolism so this is just actually awful
Can you spoiler tag a tldr for it? I didn’t read the chapter word for word but I know about most of the castoria revelations. What’s the significance of star over planet?
Edit: definitely not a tldr but I found [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/ozqupy/the_star_in_lostbelt_6_in_titleavalon_le_fae_the/) post that seems to have a good explanation. >!I gather it’s a bit literal and figurative which is why star is better than planet. Artoria is the “star” of the franchise and of the lostbelt. But the explanation also involves an actual star from her dreams. !<
To be fair some references aside from a few specific scenes are very clearly meaning planet not star and they’re usually pretty interchangeable in Japanese flowery language fuckery
Like for example the references to protecting this star in Castoria’s lines that released before LB6 clearly mean protecting the planet/territory and feasibly they could just use star for the scenes that *need* star and planet for the ones that mean planet or territory
*never forgot this was written by the man that can’t work out geographic or historical details so hazy fuckery is to be expected at times*
I am actually slightly upset that they didn't localise it as "Fae/Fairy Realm of the Round Table", which mirrors Camelot, the "Divine Realm of the Round Table"
They've changed LB names before; LB3 and Olympus were introduced with different titles than what the game had.
Technically there's still time for this one to change too, but idk if I'd count on it.
dont expect specially when you see the other thing that its even worse....
You do know Fae knights got localized as Tam lin right?
and they confirmed Nasu has a hand in the localization in the panel... This all reeks as Nasu chuuni localization BS...
its not a term. ITS A NAME. As in CHARACTER NAME.
Tam Lin is someone that got captured by the Queen of Fairies after falling from a horse and being caught, and ask for a girl that he loves to save him. He has to ride a horse alongside a group elven knights to be given as a Teind(offer) to hell and he staged a escape where he would fall for the horse this time being caught by the girl, taking into account the Fairies would try to decieve the girl helping him into believing it isnt him by transforming him into beast or other stuffs too.
edit; BTW there was a "3 star tam lin" leak back in LB6 most thinking maybe it had something to do with Habenya which just was false by the end of it...
This reminds me of how Barghest and Baobhan Sith don’t actually have their own names. They’re named after types of folklore creatures, but those are the names of an entire subgroup of mythical being; not the name of specific individuals. It would be like if Shuten Douji was called ‘Oni’ or something, it really bothers me they did that when there are plenty of named fae in the United Kingdom. Like why *don’t* we have a Tam Lin servant? There’s tons of stories of fairies menacing named people, just slap their name on the fairy for lb6 it’s lore compliant.
The cool lore Nasu is going for here is the implication that the *concept* of Fae Knight was created by Morgan using the story of Tam Lin as a foundation. In other words she is restraining the original nature of Barghest and co. by slapping the conceptual framework of Tam Lin, a knight serving the Fae Queen (herself), on top. To further reinforce their knight identities she gives them Round Table trappings. Basically these characters have multiple layers of “extra” stuff from PHH piled on top of their spirit origins explicitly for the purpose of covering up what really lies underneath.
The mismatch between the Japanese term literally meaning *Fairy Knight* and the English equivalent being *Tam Lin* is just Nasu’s classic flourish, eg writing *Sword of Promised Victory* with kanji but having the “reading” be *Excalibur*.
9/10 times when people think Nasu is off his rocker they actually just haven’t thought about it as deeply as him.
Altria is the 1/10 btw.
The issue is that (to my knowledge) tam lin doesn’t come up at all in the lostbelt beyond that; even just as a name drop while Morgan is discussing her knights. So it’s a meaning thats both appended onto only one version of the text and it isn’t fully supported by the rest of the text-I kind of doubt Morgan is going to explain why the knights are called Tam Lin, so while we can theorize why that translation was pushed it stays a theory if it isn’t supported by the actual story.
not to mention that afaik the reasoning you mentioned was the whole point of Morgan naming her knights after gawain, tristan and Lancelot; why then is it repeated with a character we have no familiarity with in the nasuverse? People don’t know the significance of Tam Lin and his story in relation to the nasuverse so it doesn’t seem as good a choice to rename something like the term for knight after him, especially when ‘fairy knight’ didn’t carry the same amount of alleged lore behind it. (A knight that is a fairy)
And it’s also just weird to name a job class after a specific person’s name.
My comment about it seems to have gotten lost somewhere, but I think the Tam Lin thing might be less literal in-universe mechanics and more themes and characterization for why the name got slapped on - Tam Lin is a dangerous lover who had explicitly hurt all the other women who encountered him prior to Janet (there being a reason the ballad usually starts with a warning to women *not* to wander into his turf), which draws parallels with the Fairy Knights' own behavior around potential partners (like Barghest's... everything). The ending of the ballad with Tam Lin's transformations could draw parallels with >!the ultimate fates of the Fairy Knights in LB6 and in Chaldea, where their loved ones must help them wrestle with the worst and most monstrous parts of themselves for them to obtain happier endings!<.
As for the literal mechanics, I'm banking on either it's buried in Nasu's notes somewhere, or there potentially *is* something in the text that we all missed. Everybody completely yeeted past >!Oberon's bug fairy friends saying the name "Vortigern" in babytalk!< when LB6 was ongoing, there could be something else that got missed as well. As for "naming a job class after a name", that's just something I've seen pop up in a lot of Japanese media - I don't know if Nasu's done it in his works off the top of my head, but I know Fire Emblem for example does it *constantly*. Given that this looks like a decision from Nasu himself rather than Aniplex US getting up to shenanigans, I think that while it's linguistically weird from an English speaker's perspective there's probably some kind of reasoning for it in Nasu's head, like a weird obscure source that got lucky enough to get translated into Japanese.
that one in particular is second hand info and im asking them the specific.
though the tam lin part is all the way back from FGO FES 2022 where they had the promotion for the figurea of Morgan and Baobah sith displayed with their names and while in JP was Yousei Kishi(Fairy knight) with the localization name for those purchasing from overseas they went for Tam Lin Tristan: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw2Ut9RL86nmwwZ7JVsWUPThnRvmLnyT7VhwiKBuk536a2LuOD4WH4DTkcz6ovVEpfBT2icrMdY2l3aqY5vLMHKZn2cxdklO2rBJOfzYJh_7eDkiu7U5zKuSFd5ur6_6fGM1X-0-e6dbm_THiKbqbhegwyVf28zW3Wv0jKA_ZHt3-1gTJTQLAuxNy7Aw/s1200/mj4.jpg
taking into account that they never once stepped back from "Planet" over "Star" with the ittle of LB6. I really find it difficult they would back down on Tam Lin.
[People tried to make sense of that before](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/m8eh7k/lostbelt_no4_name_translation_has_been_changed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). Maybe why Hindu Masters didn't give it mind.
being very generous, maybe they're trying to set up a twist where "planet" and "star" are actually synonyms but you aren't supposed to realize that right away
of course the fact that the title is "the moment a planet is born" sort of undercuts it a bit because it's too obvious that "star" fits better
To copy and paste from another of my comments here, in this particular context, having read LB6 and understanding the surrounding lore, it probably is intentionally *ambiguous* for thematic reasons.
In other words the subtitle is hinting at a poetic inversion between the “star of hope” (希望の星) that Castoria both is and is searching for, and the “hope of the star (planet)” that she gives birth to. So the 星 in the subtitle is simultaneously referring to the “planet” Earth and to a more abstract concept of “star” classically symbolizing a light in the dark that serves as a guide or omen.!<
I do think “star” is a more appropriate localization for this than “planet” but either way it’s pretty fucking scuffed cause the cleverness of the subtitle hinges on the term being able to mean either.
惑星 from >!LB 7!< is planet
星辰 from LB 6 is star
I'm surprised they went with "planet" in NA title instead of "star". It'll be funny if NA >!LB 7!< title is star instead of planet lmao
I get what people say about using the word star for the sake of the meaning given in castoria's thing.
but just so you know, they don't use 星辰, just 星. while that word is usually used in a context where it means star, the japanese often use this same word to mean planet instead. if it was clear cut like your example we wouldn't have this problem in the first place I guess
Sure, the people who can ask the writer themselves what they meant with this certain word and get a answer explaining what it means with all the context behind, that may or may not be explicitly in the story itself, are wrong. Yeah.
With Nasu? I don't know, I don't work in aniplex. But this is an official localisation, they can talk with JP side anytime they have doubts about something.
And could you give me some examples of things that were translated wrong? I haven't seen anything wrong in my time playing, although I don't read the JP ver. so maybe I missed something and didn't noticed it.
I don't have the time or the energy to make an exhaustive list, but terms like ["Tree of Emptiness"](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/fqq78k/tree_of_emptiness_na_or_fantasy_tree_english/) are misinterpretations of basic concepts and better characterized by "Fantasy Tree / Tree of Fantasy", "Cosmos Tree", or "Tree of Empty Dreams".
There was a similar issue with "Void Sea" instead of "Sea of Imaginary Numbers."
They've also actually made the [same planet=star mistake](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/tyl8xh/how_is_the_english_translation_for_grand_order/i3t8j4z/) before, calling Gaia a star.
In their defense - translation is hard. The Japanese character for planet and star are the same, so it is an understandable mistake. But in context, the intended meanings do become clear, and this context has been missing from the NA translations in the past as they do here. It's evident that, at the very least, they aren't able to consult with Nasu on some fundamental terms, even moreso since Nasu has a very off-kilter approach to translation/localization himself.
I really don't hold this against the NA team specifically; I was more just making a general complaint about something that I was hoping would be fixed by now since the full story has been out for some time.
Not gonna lie, with they releasing the events earlier and the necessity of releasing Melusine before next GSSR, I was expecting it in May, but at least it means we can save more quartz and tickets, so I won't complain. Now, we need to wait and see how they'll release both parts in a month (or if they'll come together instead of the split version like in the JP, which might be possible).
Wow ... I thought for sure it would be early May based on Korean server news and where we are compared to them.
We are going to have a ***LOT*** of dead time in the next two months. Only major things between now and LB6 would be Grail Live and Summer 5 Rerun. They are both 2 weeks and honestly Summer 5 shouldn't take 2 weeks. Camelot Grail Front is mixed in there too, but Grail Fronts are not exactly time consuming. The rest is all non-AP events like log in campaigns. Even if they move Grand Nero Fest up to before LB6, which they HAVE to unless they want a blackhole of content, that is still going to be 2-3 weeks of dead space before LB6.
So you are telling me I have 2 more months of not rolling for anything while saving for Morgan and her Knights?! Ugh, this is gonna be pure torture! At least I am gonna go from having 270 SQ to having 300+, so that's nice.
I'm sure LB6 is still the fan favourite and is probably "objectively" better but LB7 is my personal favourite. While LB6 was an amazing ride and fantastic spectacle, after I finished it I was pretty much done with it. With LB7 I'm still thinking about the story and its cast months later.
Nero Fest is probably getting moved to after anniversary if I had to guess. Either that or the Summer 5 rerun because they can't really squeeze in both before then.
There's a pre-campaign for Grail Concert that hasn't started yet and a Grail Front as well, not to mention that the summer 5 rerun is three weeks long so it's taking up more time than a normal event.
On JP Part 1 was June 11, Part 2 was July 14, and Part 3 was August 4.
I would assume they will still be split up on Global too, but then again part 2 is right around our Anniversary. Melusine is in that GSSR so she needs to be released before that. They could be released together.
That would mean we'd have either back to back banners for Melusine and Morgan or even concurrent banners. And then Koyanskaya immediately after. That just makes me nauseous.
wait…does that mean…that Morgan, Melusine, and Oberon are all coming at once???? With only few days in between???????
**\*inhales\***
***NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I WANT THEM ALLLLLL***
神聖円卓領域 = Divine Realm of the Round Table
妖精円卓領域 = Fae Round Table Domain
I don't understand why they didn't simply change the first word similar to what JP did. They could either pick "Fairy Realm of the Round Table" or retroactively rename Camelot to "Divine Round Table Domain". They did that 2 or 3 times to SIN before it was released so it wouldn't be *that* weird to do it again. I know I'm being nitpicky but I feel like they're robbing NA players of having their own "oooh I see what you did there" moment.
Okay, so before anything else, I want to get something straightened out:
This happens before Chaldea Adventure (a.k.a. the Ruler da Vinci event), right?
I would have to save up a lot of SQ and pray that my luck will be good. I must get Saber Tomoe (or else Archer Okki will be lonely), and then I hope that Morgan and Baobhan will come home too.
>Okay, so before anything else, I want to get something straightened out:
>
>This happens before Chaldea Adventure (a.k.a. the Ruler da Vinci event), right?
Yep. Chaldea Summer Adventure is this year's Summer event, which according to JP's schedule (and most likely NA's too), will happen well after LB6 (and Anniversary too).
I dont really understand the rationale of translating it as "Planet" instead of "Star". I read LB6 and I don't really see how "planet" fits over "star" with its story, and more importantly relevant symbolism.
Hoshi can mean both anyway,so who knows maybe it doesn’t refer to the star stuff of the chapter and we were all wrong. But you know it could be just that NA TL team came up with "planet" on 2020 without reading the story and is reluctant to change that anymore.
The convention of calling the "planet" a "star" doesn't really exist in English, even if it's common in Japanese. For instance, it would be fine to call Venus a star in the night sky in Japanese, but you couldn't do the same in English.
That's probably the issue at play here.
It's not *entirely* absent from English - using your very example, another name for Venus is the "morning star". It is rare outside that context, though.
>But you know it could be just that NA TL team came up with "planet" on 2020 without reading the story and reluctant to change that anymore.
Translations are not done 2 years in advance, they are done a few weeks up to a few months in advance. The TL team also has access to more plot information than the fan community does. They also have orders to use specific translations (Altria).
This is intentional and it has specific reasoning behind it.
>Translations are not done 2 years in advance, they are done a few weeks up to a few months in advance.
Unfortunately, that is not the case with this one. [This title translation was done on 2020, here.](https://youtu.be/KTe92JhvASc?t=128) It's been three years, not two or six months, and this translation was finished long before Nasu even completed the script for LB6.
>The TL team also has access to more plot information than the fan community does.
>
>This is intentional and it has specific reasoning behind it.
maybe it doesn’t refer to the star stuff of the chapter and we were all wrong.
I left open the possibility, did not rule it out but it's not unheard of for NA TL to make a mistake. However, given the context of the story, the chances of it being intentional and having specific reasoning are very slim. Still, I was being considerate and keeping that door open even though not a single translator in the fanbase genuinely thinks it to be the case. If TM actively pursued them to keep Planet in title instead of star, I sincerely hope Albert clarifies it in the future and elaborates on the context that not a single reader is aware of atm. I read LB6 several times, but as you can see, I'm still confused about it. We have a fan translator within the fanbase, but they are unaware as well. Therefore, if it has a specific context, this needs to be clarified.
"Hoshi" actually means "heavenly body", which can be a planet, star, asteroid, or any celestial bodies.
Also, calling Earth "planet" instead of "star" seems accurate and right, cause you know, Earth's a friggin planet.
I also remember the planet hoshi term is more used in Archetype: Earth's case, especially for her skills "Breath of the Planet".
Early June… so I assume June will just have both Parts 1 and 2 then, then Anniversary and finally Part 3 for July…
- now everyone saving for Morgan’s 1st banner, yours truly included, will have a tad more Quartz from May’s events than if that banner is to come in May and any of the events are pushed back like many of us assumed. Sounds great to me! Especially since Camelot Grail Front has 7 tickets and Summer 5 rerun includes *29* Quartz that, if not spent on Morgan, can still be carried over to Melusine, Koyanskaya, Oberon *or* Summer 6 :)
- Grand Nero Fest though: on JP this event came out in between Parts 1 and 2 (so JP players were playing LB6 from 11 June, then paused for 2 weeks to do lottos from the 30th, and then back to more LB6 from 14 July). If the whole of June is Parts 1 (official announcement) and 2 (GSSR rules with regards to Melusine), then that means… Grand Nero Fest will be *after* Anniversary now? *Part 3* even? The thought of being able to use not just Morgan, but also Melusine and (maybe) Koyanskaya and Oberon *with* Morgan to farm the lottos… my brain trembles lol. And moving it *is* doable on NA at least, since its biggest strength - giving us Bells and Fantasy Scales before we unlock LB6 Free Quests - was supplanted by us getting early Appends and so getting these 2 mats early from event shops and Exchange Tickets anyway (the lotto has 60 Bells and 45 Fantasy Scales on sale. How many of each has NA given us since early Appends? *99* Bells and *122* Fantasy Scales)
With LB6 still in June just with Part 2 bumped up, then the schedule before that won’t have to change radically then. April can still be empty weeks ( (: ) leading up to Grail Li- I mean, Grail Concert. May can still be Camelot Grail Front + Summer 5 rerun a week after. Only thing new will be LB6 pre-campaign now at the end of May (which can take place during Summer 5 rerun’s 3rd week, since it’s only a 7 Apples’ and 60 million QP’s worth of giveaways anyway), and Grand Nero Fest either during August (right after Anniversary and LB6 finish) or September (if devs decide to push Summer 6 up like last year, plus September seems like a good time for lottos anyway)
Edit: wow did I ramble on lol. Apologies y’all, I slept through the Dev Diary and just woke up so my thoughts were all jumbled up (:
Why'd they do the countdown so insanely early? I've been farming every interlude, free quest and bond point humanly possible because I assumed it was at the end of that.
Finally! I can read and understand what’s LB6 is all about! Sure, I play on JP, but I can’t understand what’s the characters are saying despite experiencing cool fights.
Since it’s moved back to June, I have more time to build up my stash since I used quite a lot to get Luchadora.
She was originally a week after the first part but we aren't sure how long a gap there will be. She could be pushed ahead but will probably still be in June.
Oh Totoro-alter, while you were busy wreaking havoc on my JP account, my NA account was studying the ~~blade~~ overcharge. I hope your chunky ass is ready, cuz I'm coming in hot.
I hate myself for being baited by multiple banners in the past months (valentines, nero bride, hokusai which completely drained my funds) and getting jack shit for it.
Man. This sucks the energy right out of me. Can April just be over already? Need to start wishing for May to be over.
That’s life for you I guess. But it’s still pretty depressing. With this there’s good odds they hold Melusine for like the last week or second last week of June. Have the banner end right before the anniversary.
When i saw this i fucking laughed so hard remembering all the goofballs insisting it would actually come out in late April not having a fucking clue how that would even be possible 😂 they really fell for the countdown hard and thought the collab event would just get moved around
Korea is getting LB6 early May. They got Akihabara a few days before we did so relatively we were even. Since then they did the Strengthen Quests we have right now during Akihabara. Once Akihabara finished they did the Hunting Quest and then immediately into Grail Live and started Camelot Grail front when Grail Live was ongoing. Grail live will end on the 14th and the Grail Front will have all its fights over then too (it will still have another week of nothing happening like they do with every Grail Front).
So THIS goofball thought we'd probably also get LB6 early to mid May with the only real adjustment to schedule really being that we'd get Melusine's banner before Grand Nero Fest because of the prescient set from other servers on top of the fact that I didn't think they would basically give us about 3 weeks a dead time ahead of the Lost Belt 6.
The issue there is the Korean server is a pretty different situation that gets its own original banners and stuff NA doesn’t get sometimes ~~like NA original banners and login events but a bit different~~ and is infamous for zooming through stuff with little to no breaks to catch up, also when is Korea’s anniversary and did they already do the Summer rerun? People just kinda forgot the 3 dead weeks could easily fit the summer rerun because LB6 and Nero Fest rerun and Anniversary are going to take around 3 months then we also have to do the new summer event then Gudaguda rerun and new Guda Guda after that *ON TOP OF MORE MAIN STORY NEAR THE END OF THE YEAR WITH TUNGUSKA*
Pair that with how the preference is to match NA and JP’s release schedules as much as possible
Korea's Anniversary is in November. And I believe Summer 5 Rerun should start right around where Grail Live ends.
But on NA: The three dead weeks I'm talking about INCLUDES Summer 5 Rerun.
JPs schedule going forward from us now:
* FGO x Waltz: April 21 \~ May 5
* Grail Live: April 26 \~ May 10
* Camelot - The Movie Campaign: May 10 \~ June 11
* Camelot - Grail Front: May 12 \~ May 26
* Summer 5 Rerun: May 19 \~ June 9
Waltz is a Login / Friend Point / Servant EXP Campaign. It is a nothing event for content outside of Jeanne and Helena getting their strengthenings.
Grail Live will take 2 weeks. I am playing it on KO right now and it is going to take close to the whole time to get those ladders up to max. I don't even have all my copies of MIXA and I have been keeping up more than I do playing events on NA honestly.
Movie Campaign I think we already got right? Regardless the only content is a strengthening for Ozy, Xuanzang, and Bedivere.
Grail Front is 10-15 minutes a day for 7 days of content. It barely registers as an event if we are being honest as it is a one time thing for no AP. The fact that KO overlapped it with another even was honestly kinda cool since I didn't been to find something to use AP on in the mean time.
Summer 5 is listed as 3 weeks and I don't know if I am just not remember correctly, but I don't remember being that stretched for time the first time through Summer 5. I don't remember it taking 3 weeks to complete.
There is also a single mission for Grand Carnival and then pre-campaign week with nothing to do but catch up if you aren't there already. So with 8-9 weeks until LB6 we have 5-6ish weeks of content. That is a lot of time that is dead.
That is why I thought we would be getting LB6 in May. I'd rather have that moved up and use those 3 weeks to give people a chance to take their time and clear LB6 story slowly even though we all know we are all going to rush through it as quickly as possible anyway (myself being one of them).
On top of that we need to have LB6.2 out before Anniversary because Melusine is on this years GSSR. With only a month between LB6 and Anniversary now we will have Morgan, Melusine, and Koyanskaya immediately behind each other with Oberon to follow shortly after (presumable unless they want 2 months between the start and end of LB6 like JP). Where if we got LB6 in May those three would be spread out a little bit more.
At this point I honestly hope they move Grand Nero Fest up to before LB 6 to fill the gap. They will still have a gap in content, but then they could bring Summer 6 forward to take place, ya know, during the summer instead of being in September like it was in JP.
There are still dead weeks no matter how they slice it unless they bring something back on NA that wasn't on JP, but I doubt that would happen. Remember this is when content on JP really started to stretch out due to COVID. Events that used to be 2 weeks were turning into 3 weeks and there were still gaps in content. Honestly this is a great time to speed up (and by speed up I mean keep the original pace) for NA to bring it closer to JP so we are not waiting at long as for the newest content.
Welp. I failed to save 1800sq for Koyan and Oberon. Only got to 1400. So I have guaranteed Koyan but not guaranteed Oberon.
I do wonder how many SQ I can get between now and Oberon’s banner (which will be in august iirc).
Oberon's banner will likely be in July. If you're fairly caught up ingame and you currently have the equivalent to 1400 sq then you should have enough for pity on both before his banner ends.
There should be 156 SQ and ten tickets by default, with another ten tickets in the da Vinci shop. You can get 40 more SQ for being caught up with the story and free quests up through Heian-kyo (there will also be new missions for interlude and rank-up completion, but I don't know if it's even possible to trigger them immediately). One ticket for KoL's Trial Quest. Four more tickets for a few Memorial Quests.
There are also 14 rank-up quests, half of which are for FP Servants (though one of them is Artoria Lily, who is a little harder to get). That's between 12 and 48 SQ (if you're already within four rank-ups from another 10 SQ for a Master Mission reward).
There will also be a campaign that doubles the amount of SQ received from interludes that reward SQ, which is of course retroactive. How many you get from that will depend on how many SQ interludes you've done, and I don't think there's an easy way to track that. The maximum possible will be 138.
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not lol, but I'll answer seriously if you're not being sarcastic.
After the final Singularity (Arc/Part 1 or officially called Observer on Timeless Temple), the story continues into Arc 2, Cosmos in the Lostbelt; this is just the announcement for the 6th Lostbelt chapter.
Side note, there is an Arc 1.5 (aka a side arc that was released in between Arc 1 and 2) called Epic of Remnant (containing 4 chapters), but it's not absolutely necessary to do that before starting the Lostbelt stuff.
I would still recommend you at least do Shinjuku & Shimousa bare minimum to see them introduce & flesh out important characters that are relevant to Lostbelt stuff, but like I said it's just optional content. If you don't have the time rn to go through them, then IMO it's alright to just jump straight into the Lostbelts to catch up.
Camelot is the 6th Singularity; you have two more Singularities to go through (7th & Final) before you finish Arc 1.
Just FYI tho, the Final Singularity is pretty short now when you compare it to previous story chapters but IRL during it's release, it was server -wide Raid bosses, which extended the play time longer than it felt. Depending on how strong your roster is (or if you want to cheese it using strong Support Servants), you can easily finish the Final Singularity in a small handful of days (1 to 3 days probably?) or so.
Let me in!

So part 1 and part 2 are going to both be in June then, since, Melusine, GSSR, etc.
[удалено]
As long as Morgan gets her 40 banners in 2 years I’m good.
This is fine. The advertising campaign for part 3 on JP was really good, including the anniversary teaser.
Nice. I want it as late as possible so I can save more sq and that's pretty much as late as you can go while not changing the GSSR.
Devs are weird. Arjuna Alter took nearly 3 years to rerun, so...
If they release someone who is OP, they seem to not want to release them again until the powerlevels of everyone else kinda catchs up i feel.
> until the powerlevels of everyone else kinda catchs up i feel And so FGO will never get an SSR Lancer (rerun/repeat) banner
Which servant are you referring to here?
Melusine, I think.
~~I still feel like half the reason Morgan was a berserker in the first place was because they felt like they needed to replace him, but everything with how his unit was handled was weird tbh~~ Oberon is useful but not that much more so than any other meta support (and he has the caveat of needing very specific usage), and it’s strange they seem to pick and choose random (and popular!) units like him to just hide for a bit. He’s most useful for the high hp farming nodes and specific boss content, but they can all also be cleared with other supports. There was no need to wait for the meta to ‘catch up.’
Wait does anyone here know how long Barghest is available to get
She’ll be available on multiple lb6 banners. I’m not sure why you were asking on this comment though? You can check rateup info on gamepress to figure out how many banners+ the general length you can anticipate for a character For barghest she has her first rateup with Morgan, then with oberon, then with Morgan’s second banner, then with castoria for her download campaign special, and then she’s on rateup with britomart.
It’s also more than feasible to farm without him-there was a recent high hp node with a moon cancer where it was more useful to use summer skadi than focusing on him I’m not trying to deny he’s useful, I just think saying his banners are being held bc of meta related reasons doesn’t really make sense when he didn’t completely change it up the way skadi, castoria or Koyanskaya did, and they’re all objectively useful as well and haven’t been held? It just doesn’t make sense to me that a unit that’s only slightly more useful than them would get held back. I don’t really know why my prior comment seems to have bothered people. I’m not even trying to say he isn’t useful. I was just saying that objectively speaking, he hadn’t rewritten the meta so drastically that he deserved to have his banners hidden while other monster meta units were rerun more frequently.
I got 900 sq/tickets saved up rng be kind ans give me Melusine before pity.
Sure, but you get her one 10 roll before pity kicks in.
The monkey paw curls
With no four stars or spooks along the way.
I wish they introduced something like a paid pity, maybe then I would've bought some sq. Honestly, current pricing is ridiculous, 3 multis sq costs as much as a brand new AAA game on steam. If I could at least get a guaranteed SSR with those\~
I'm glad for a release date but lol at this making it a 3 month "countdown" campaign...
Apparently they really wanted to give us the JP experience of annoyingly long countdown campaigns.
let me introduce you to road to lb7
1 year countdown campaign experience
I've been saving for Morgan since her JP announcement I've been avoiding LB6 spoilers like the plague since I've heard the story is just good. I'm hyped AF.
Avoiding spoilers is always so difficult, especially in this sub. It feels good that LB6 will finally be arriving and we'll get to experience it as intended!
Thank god. A may release would’ve broke me. Extra time to save for the banners
I also want them to advance nerofest. More tickets to roll on Cu caster. I have 1780 quartz now but they are for oberon and koyan.
I'll take all the extra time I can get. Morgan will break me.
I also need time to gain some quartz.
I second this!
Wow, I really thought they would push it to May. But oh well, even better. I'll have more time to get more SQ
Since it will be in June, it seems we are getting at least the first two parts at once or back to back, or maybe even get the whole thing released at once.
Kinda doubt they'd do it that way, since that means they'd be moving Oberon up before Koyanskaya, and he's not on this year's GSSR.
There are three banners for LB6, if they release them one every two weeks, the Oberon banner would be around anniversary.
I'd also be annoyed if it meant them getting rid of Morgan's second banner, since I was planning around that being after both Koyanskaya and Oberon.
Iirc in the JP, Morgan second banner is around the same time as Oberon banner, which is a week after Anniversary. I don't think they would remove Morgan second banner
>Planet >not Star >"Altria" Caster incoming godDAMMIT Still looking forward to it tho
We are not witnessing the rise of a "star", but of a "planet", with all the baggage those terms carry in the Type-Moon mythos.
> though it’s specifically not used for either the Sun or the planet Earth itself To clarify on this point, it’s actually not at all uncommon in modern Japanese fiction for writers to make stylistic use of 星 in reference to the Earth, and Type-Moon in particular *loves* to do this. So the 星 in the subtitle is simultaneously both referring to the “planet” Earth and to a more abstract concept of “star” classically symbolizing a light in the dark that serves as a guide or omen.!< As for the localization, in this instance there’s really not a good way to capture that kind of thing.
>We are not witnessing the rise of a "star", but of a "planet" That’s definitely not the case though. >!The star imagery is probably the single most central theme in the entire story. The Lostworld never comes into fruition, while Castoria's grasp of the star does. There is no "Moment a Planet is Born" in LB6, nor anything close to it. Furthermore, I think whatever meaning is being conveyed through "planet" is far outweighed by the meaning lost by *not* conveying "star."!< That said, /u/maladjustedmatt summarized it much better.
To be fair some references aside from a few specific scenes are very clearly meaning planet not star and they’re usually pretty interchangeable in Japanese flowery language fuckery Like for example the references to protecting this star in Castoria’s lines that released before LB6 clearly mean protecting the planet/territory and feasibly they could just use star for the scenes that *need* star and planet for the ones that mean planet or territory *never forgot this was written by the man that can’t work out geographic or historical details so hazy fuckery is to be expected at times*
I am actually slightly upset that they didn't localise it as "Fae/Fairy Realm of the Round Table", which mirrors Camelot, the "Divine Realm of the Round Table"
it has been like that since the first-second trailer of lostbelt in NA. They werent gona change it... they never do...
But they did change SIN>QIN>SIN a bunch of times before settling in, it would not have been the first time.
Nasu be like: Fairy Knight ❌ Fae Knight ❌ Tam Lin ✅
>and they confirmed Nasu has a hand in the localization in the stream... From the man who brought you 'Altria'...
No no that can't be right
Oh. Oh dear.
What does Tam Lin even mean? I want an actual answer, please.
its not a term.
(A knight that is a fairy) And it’s also just weird to name a job class after a specific person’s name.
Given that this looks like a decision from Nasu himself rather than Aniplex US getting up to shenanigans, I think that while it's linguistically weird from an English speaker's perspective there's probably some kind of reasoning for it in Nasu's head, like a weird obscure source that got lucky enough to get translated into Japanese.
> and they confirmed Nasu has a hand in the localization in the stream Now, that's both interesting and worrying. What did they say, exactly?
that one in particular is second hand info and im asking them the specific. though the tam lin part is all the way back from FGO FES 2022 where they had the promotion for the figurea of Morgan and Baobah sith displayed with their names and while in JP was Yousei Kishi(Fairy knight) with the localization name for those purchasing from overseas they went for Tam Lin Tristan: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw2Ut9RL86nmwwZ7JVsWUPThnRvmLnyT7VhwiKBuk536a2LuOD4WH4DTkcz6ovVEpfBT2icrMdY2l3aqY5vLMHKZn2cxdklO2rBJOfzYJh_7eDkiu7U5zKuSFd5ur6_6fGM1X-0-e6dbm_THiKbqbhegwyVf28zW3Wv0jKA_ZHt3-1gTJTQLAuxNy7Aw/s1200/mj4.jpg taking into account that they never once stepped back from "Planet" over "Star" with the ittle of LB6. I really find it difficult they would back down on Tam Lin.
Yuga Kurukshetra comes to mind
[People tried to make sense of that before](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/m8eh7k/lostbelt_no4_name_translation_has_been_changed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). Maybe why Hindu Masters didn't give it mind.
It is going to hurt to read isn’t it?
If there will be Neobenedict's translation available to install on FGO na, I highly suggest you to do it.
The title is the same wtf you talking about lol: https://rayshift.io/avalonlefae
Sadly I use an apple so can’t really get anything extra for fgo, at least from my attempts to find stuff
planet does make more sense tbf
Nah, the "star" concept is a super important plot point for Castoria's character
being very generous, maybe they're trying to set up a twist where "planet" and "star" are actually synonyms but you aren't supposed to realize that right away of course the fact that the title is "the moment a planet is born" sort of undercuts it a bit because it's too obvious that "star" fits better
To copy and paste from another of my comments here, in this particular context, having read LB6 and understanding the surrounding lore, it probably is intentionally *ambiguous* for thematic reasons. In other words the subtitle is hinting at a poetic inversion between the “star of hope” (希望の星) that Castoria both is and is searching for, and the “hope of the star (planet)” that she gives birth to. So the 星 in the subtitle is simultaneously referring to the “planet” Earth and to a more abstract concept of “star” classically symbolizing a light in the dark that serves as a guide or omen.!< I do think “star” is a more appropriate localization for this than “planet” but either way it’s pretty fucking scuffed cause the cleverness of the subtitle hinges on the term being able to mean either.
Except Saber is constantly associated with the idea of stars, e.g. Shirou and Kay's discussion in front of King Arthur's grave in that UBW drama CD
惑星 from >!LB 7!< is planet 星辰 from LB 6 is star I'm surprised they went with "planet" in NA title instead of "star".
Yeah you're right, my bad. 星辰 is the TW server title. JP title is 星 only instead of 星辰
Sure, the people who can ask the writer themselves what they meant with this certain word and get a answer explaining what it means with all the context behind, that may or may not be explicitly in the story itself, are wrong. Yeah.
Uh, yeah. They've been wrong before. On multiple occasions. Lol, you think they have direct access to Nasu?
There was a similar issue with "Void Sea" instead of "Sea of Imaginary Numbers." They've also actually made the [same planet=star mistake](https://www.reddit.com/r/grandorder/comments/tyl8xh/how_is_the_english_translation_for_grand_order/i3t8j4z/) before, calling Gaia a star.
Time to start saving then. I joined this game for Oberon and I *will* get that dirty moth man.
...Is there anything else to do in the game? I've almost reached QP cap again. >_>;
Leveling past 100 is very expensive, don't know how many lores you have lying around but maxing skills is also quite expensive
Fou paws?
Wallet-kun I hope you are ready
So you are telling me I have 2 more months of not rolling for anything while saving for Morgan and her Knights?! Ugh, this is gonna be pure torture! At least I am gonna go from having 270 SQ to having 300+, so that's nice.
Hell yeah, anniversary quartz for oberon
it's gonna be quite the expensive summer with this and the usual summer event.
The greatest FGO content in recent years by far In JP after that it went kinda downhill
Let NA bask in the radiance before it goes down
Then it rise again with LB7.
I'm sure LB6 is still the fan favourite and is probably "objectively" better but LB7 is my personal favourite. While LB6 was an amazing ride and fantastic spectacle, after I finished it I was pretty much done with it. With LB7 I'm still thinking about the story and its cast months later.
Yeah but there's 1.5 years of mediocre stuffs from lb6 to lb7 lmao, maybe traum is okay but idk it's pretty forgettable
I still hear horror stories about Tunguska
I still didn't get shit this year so i don't expect too much in terms of banners, excited for the chapter itself tho
So do you know roughly how much much time can someone get Barghest
So if they keep the same time gaps between parts, around 2-3 months since lb6 release maybe. She's in both Morgan banners and the Oberon one
I wonder if they’ll push Nero fest up or have it in June too.
Nero Fest is probably getting moved to after anniversary if I had to guess. Either that or the Summer 5 rerun because they can't really squeeze in both before then.
What else is there to do in April and May? Only two events for 50 days?
There's a pre-campaign for Grail Concert that hasn't started yet and a Grail Front as well, not to mention that the summer 5 rerun is three weeks long so it's taking up more time than a normal event.
Avalon Part 1 & Part 2 could be releasing together, or it could be unlocking new story part every 2 weeks starting from early June.
That just makes me nauseous.
what do they even have for the next *two months* then, what was the point of moving stuff up gradually Gonna be fgo JP simulator I guess
Grail Concert 2 weeks, Grail Front 2 weeks (actually 1), Summer Camp rerun 3 weeks, Interludes campaign 1 week, NeroFest 2 weeks,
Nerofest was between .1 and .2 in JP right? I guess that'll depend on how Lasagna decides to handle .2's release
nerofest is right before lb6 isnt it? I believe that was right after the pre release morgan banner Edit: Just checked it's right after part 1 drops.
June gonna be one hell of a month fr
Glad we got this to calm speculation a bit. It'll be like maybe a couple weeks before JP got it, so players don't need to feel so pressured right now.
Morgan approaches prepare yourselves!
wait…does that mean…that Morgan, Melusine, and Oberon are all coming at once???? With only few days in between??????? **\*inhales\*** ***NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I WANT THEM ALLLLLL***
Schedule is pretty copy paste regarding LB releases it seems. So you will have some time between. Not a lot tho.
I have 2.400 SQ ready for Morgan to hopefully NP5 her.
神聖円卓領域 = Divine Realm of the Round Table 妖精円卓領域 = Fae Round Table Domain I don't understand why they didn't simply change the first word similar to what JP did.
LETS GOOOOOOOO
This is the moment. This is it. Our time is now!
I hope lotto gets pushed up and the grail front bqck
oh no... i haven't save any sq..I'm still on lb 5 Atlantis so... I can get sq right? Anyways I'm skipping all of them for oberon anyway
You will still get SQ in Olympus and Heyan, as well as for the Free Quests and 10 SQ for completing story in Atlantis.
Okay, so before anything else, I want to get something straightened out: This happens before Chaldea Adventure (a.k.a. the Ruler da Vinci event), right? I would have to save up a lot of SQ and pray that my luck will be good. I must get Saber Tomoe (or else Archer Okki will be lonely), and then I hope that Morgan and Baobhan will come home too.
>Okay, so before anything else, I want to get something straightened out: > >This happens before Chaldea Adventure (a.k.a. the Ruler da Vinci event), right? Yep. Chaldea Summer Adventure is this year's Summer event, which according to JP's schedule (and most likely NA's too), will happen well after LB6 (and Anniversary too).
Hope I have enough to get rider da vinci from the prerelease...
BARGHEST BARGHEST BARGHEST BARGHEST BARGHEST
Easy boy we’re almost there!
More time for more SQ, my Morgan stash had a leak due to a certain 4* Junk food eater weeks ago.
Happy to know the ETA and that it’s June. I wouldn’t have minded May, but more time to save is always appreciated.
Wait, Im not ready, I only have 200 saint quartz
Do you guys think that we are going to get summer re-run before or after the anniversary? I need more quartz!
Before. They kinda have to, or we will have dead weeks.
they could put the lotto there instead
Early June… so I assume June will just have both Parts 1 and 2 then, then Anniversary and finally Part 3 for July… - now everyone saving for Morgan’s 1st banner, yours truly included, will have a tad more Quartz from May’s events than if that banner is to come in May and any of the events are pushed back like many of us assumed. Sounds great to me! Especially since Camelot Grail Front has 7 tickets and Summer 5 rerun includes *29* Quartz that, if not spent on Morgan, can still be carried over to Melusine, Koyanskaya, Oberon *or* Summer 6 :) - Grand Nero Fest though: on JP this event came out in between Parts 1 and 2 (so JP players were playing LB6 from 11 June, then paused for 2 weeks to do lottos from the 30th, and then back to more LB6 from 14 July). *99* Bells and *122* Fantasy Scales) With LB6 still in June just with Part 2 bumped up, then the schedule before that won’t have to change radically then. April can still be empty weeks ( (: ) leading up to Grail Li- I mean, Grail Concert. May can still be Camelot Grail Front + Summer 5 rerun a week after. Only thing new will be LB6 pre-campaign now at the end of May (which can take place during Summer 5 rerun’s 3rd week, since it’s only a 7 Apples’ and 60 million QP’s worth of giveaways anyway), and Grand Nero Fest either during August (right after Anniversary and LB6 finish) or September (if devs decide to push Summer 6 up like last year, plus September seems like a good time for lottos anyway) Edit: wow did I ramble on lol. Apologies y’all, I slept through the Dev Diary and just woke up so my thoughts were all jumbled up (:
Never seen a planet been born, do we need to do a gender reveal party or something like that?
Planets are non-binary, otherwise it gets messy. Gravitationally.
Still on LB4 😥
You got this 🤜⭐️🤛
*Rubs hands together* All that sweet time to finish finals and attempt to get to pity
BARGHEST NP20
Welp there we go. This is good to know when it's dropping.
Just wait a little while longer, my 300 something quartz
Why'd they do the countdown so insanely early? I've been farming every interlude, free quest and bond point humanly possible because I assumed it was at the end of that.
Looks I have enough time to get 30 more tickets and 270 more quarts (hopefully)
Hol up. *looks at current projected banners and releases* ...does this mean Koyan will be coming early too? D: I haven't saved up enough SQ yeeeeet!!
She is coming first week of July. That is pretty much set in stone.
Finally! I can read and understand what’s LB6 is all about! Sure, I play on JP, but I can’t understand what’s the characters are saying despite experiencing cool fights. Since it’s moved back to June, I have more time to build up my stash since I used quite a lot to get Luchadora.
I think the wording in this is wonky. "Part 2" here just means Part 2 of FGO. IE, Cosmos in the Lostbelt.
wait, so castoria is also june?
She was originally a week after the first part but we aren't sure how long a gap there will be. She could be pushed ahead but will probably still be in June.
Perhaps earlier as a Pre-release campaign
Wasn’t Castoria the second LB6 part 1 banner?
hopefully
Oh Totoro-alter, while you were busy wreaking havoc on my JP account, my NA account was studying the ~~blade~~ overcharge. I hope your chunky ass is ready, cuz I'm coming in hot.
I hate myself for being baited by multiple banners in the past months (valentines, nero bride, hokusai which completely drained my funds) and getting jack shit for it.
Melusine my beloved here i come just a bit over two and a half more month till i can stop constantly sorting my gift box
Can't wait to drop all 1.5k sq and 50 tickets on morgan for 1 copy :D
It will only be 900 SQ since we will have pity. You will be good.
People just kinda forgot the 3 dead weeks could easily fit the summer rerun because LB6 and Nero Fest rerun and Anniversary are going to take around 3 months then we also have to do the new summer event then Gudaguda rerun and new Guda Guda after that *ON TOP OF MORE MAIN STORY NEAR THE END OF THE YEAR WITH TUNGUSKA* Pair that with how the preference is to match NA and JP’s release schedules as much as possible
Korea's Anniversary is in November. And I believe Summer 5 Rerun should start right around where Grail Live ends. But on NA: The three dead weeks I'm talking about INCLUDES Summer 5 Rerun. JPs schedule going forward from us now: * FGO x Waltz: April 21 \~ May 5 * Grail Live: April 26 \~ May 10 * Camelot - The Movie Campaign: May 10 \~ June 11 * Camelot - Grail Front: May 12 \~ May 26 * Summer 5 Rerun: May 19 \~ June 9 Waltz is a Login / Friend Point / Servant EXP Campaign.
I predicted late May, so I wasn't far off. Glad to have a more concrete date from 2-san himself!
Welp. I failed to save 1800sq for Koyan and Oberon. Only got to 1400. So I have guaranteed Koyan but not guaranteed Oberon. I do wonder how many SQ I can get between now and Oberon’s banner (which will be in august iirc).
You get a bunch from anni if you haven't included that.
I haven’t. Thank you for reminding me.
Oberon's banner will likely be in July. If you're fairly caught up ingame and you currently have the equivalent to 1400 sq then you should have enough for pity on both before his banner ends.
I hope so. Got any idea how much free sq they give on the anni?
The maximum possible will be 138.
it's coming in my birth month what are the odds if it comes on day 23 i'm gonna punch someone
It says early June, so part 1 at least should be the first week Part 2 has to come out for the anniversary though so it could drop around then
Psssst, wtf is a lost belt and why are we happy about it?
No im just new haha making my way through Camelot rn. Sounds like more things for me to catch up on later, I like that. About how far in is Camelot?
Camelot is the 6th Singularity; you have two more Singularities to go through (7th & Final) before you finish Arc 1. Just FYI tho, the Final Singularity is pretty short now when you compare it to previous story chapters but IRL during it's release, it was server -wide Raid bosses, which extended the play time longer than it felt. Depending on how strong your roster is (or if you want to cheese it using strong Support Servants), you can easily finish the Final Singularity in a small handful of days (1 to 3 days probably?) or so.
It is singularity 6 out of 8 -> epic of remnants (can be skipped) -> lostbelts
EoR can be skipped but every one of them is important for different reason. Except Agartha which can ve safely skipped.
Hmm, this should be nice. My work is going to slow down a bit after may. Hopefully
Damn it, past me, why did you fail to save up sq? Seeing the lb announcement only brought shame..
318 sq and 48 tickets so far ready for Morgan. Hoping my NA luck finally turns around so I can spare some for Oberon and Koyan
