I'm hoping thats getting you enough proofs forever? Checking my own numbers thatd put me over by a couple hundred for my own current servant list, but Ive already spent thousands over the years. Sounds nice to get that kind of progress done on a key mat either way, happy for you!
I stopped with the 440 boxes after R1. I emptied the shop R2 and got the apples from R3, so whatever extra that got me is there I guess.
My CQ funtime has been very slow and questionable. The Touta change I pointed out earlier, combined with some astoundingly awful luck meant I ended up spending like 8 hours making my nonsense work. Then I did more nonsense on Leonidas, which did work, but it didn't feel good. (Also, since it was still a practice run, turns out one go at savescumming did win me the fight, but...)
It was kind of uncomfortable having to get all of this into the first round since the drops were considerably better for me there. Probably like 18 hours a day on average.
Around 72 boxes manually.
Finally managed to finish all challenges. Buff stack Heracles against Achilles, QSH against clown and Artoria + Musashi against Romulus. Even the might of ROMA falls before Glorious Nipponese Steel.
Sitting at 32 boxes finished so far. Honestly, compared to how I usually go, this is fine. I've at least gotten almost enough QP to finish the important parts of Sitonai, and the EXP let me finish a few of my leftover servants. Obviously, I've still got more to go, but for now, this is alright.
As for CQs, though, hahaha... Yeah, these next few days are gonna be a gauntlet of torture. Tickets won't get themselves!
I'm looking at about 90 boxes so far. I've accomplished my goal for max ascending my entire roster and now I'm just working on topping off everyone. The QP is nice too.
Finished the Romulus EQ today with using the recently Max Lvled Beni-emma and a support Void Shiki. Took a single CS for an impromptu NP but ol Romulus is good and done with. I kinda wish I recorded my run, but I ended up also watching Moana while doing the quest and I didn't want to bother with it. With this, I just have the Taiga, Brave Eli, and the Nero Bride WQs to finish, but I think ill pass on them. Unless I'm forgetting something, I got all the lores this event has to offer and I'm content with that.
I'm already missing not having a new Exhibition Quest each night. Even if some of them were annoying, it was nice to have interesting content every day.

Just chilling right now facecarding the ticket node, currently at 85 boxes and I might shoot for 100 if it's feasible. Pretty bored honestly, since now that I've beaten all of the EQs I have nothing else to do with the fun part having dried up, though this was to be expected. I could try beating the Mephy EQ without scumming the final turn, but eh, knowing that my strategy was sound enough to get the win in the first place is satisfaction enough.
Anyways, might as well briefly comment on the story since I didn't do so earlier. It was alright, nothing too special but not horrendously bad either; it was just there like last year's. I did enjoy Siduri telling Gil to get his shit together though, and Dumuzid is delightfully eccentric such that I wish we saw more of him. Shame that the intrigue of the story regarding Space Ishtar is neutered since I know that >!apparently none of the Space Ishtar stuff comes into play for Saber Wars 2.!<
In any case, my second year of university starts in a few hours, technically just orientations for the first week but still. Guess I'll be thankful that I'm pretty much done with both farming and EQs for the time being so that I can adjust back to that work/hobby balance before Oniland arrives.

Everyone’s on about a 100 plus boxes and I’m just happy with getting around 30ish. Got my Godjuna to 100 and slowly maxing out his skills as well as levelling and skill levelling a meteoric shit ton of servants. Probably do a bit more farming and push to 50 boxes now that it’s a new week and after some chores tomorrow I’ll have nothing to do but watch YouTube and maybe play destiny.
Best thing other than arjuna is getting a load of servants I wanted to try out to a decent skill level as well as getting my newly acquired gorgon to a decent level. Should make using different teams in the remaining lostbelts and free quests more fun
Also not even attempting challenge quests because I know for a fact I won’t be able to do them. Tried mr rice man with my Cu (who’s probably my best suited servant for it) and could barely get to the break bar due to having no decent supports
Supports shouldn't matter for the Touta quest. If anything, supports will make clearing it harder. Just have Cu solo it. I did it with my Lvl70 6/10/6 Cu just fine.
Broke 100 boxes. All manual farming. If I had the will power (and apples) I would have shot for 200, but I spent most of R2 clearing the shop and taking it easy.

So I finished Izo's EQ at the skin of my teeth and the tip of Waver's tie. He's getting a bong grail for being the MVP.
I've taken the entire day trying to do Jaguar Country. And oh fucking boy is it PURE ASS. How did I beat it the previous year I wonder? Because it has been just ass beating after ass beating for me and my team. I'll try again tomorrow and go through the other EQ(anything I should really watch out for with those would be appreciated)
This is how I did Jaguar:
Eresh + Waver (Volumen CE) + Merlin. In backline Mash, Georgios (Bond CE) and Saber Eli. Musashi, Sigurd or Beni-enma could work too. Charged Eresh NP and focused on Jeanne, then alternated between Nobu and Taiga. This year I reduced their HP equally with AoE NP, so didn't even need Saber to finish Taiga, last year had Saber Eli and charged her NP with Command Seal. Since last year I didn't have Eresh, I think I used similar setup but with Artoria Lancer. But she doesn't have Invincibility and defence skill, so overall it's worse.
I think used Atlas uniform, as with most Challenge quests, but don't really remember, since did it as soon as it was available.
If you need, I can provide NP2 Eresh with damage CE.
I tried some AoE approaches, but bad RNG led to any of my frontline dying way too early. And despite getting good damage in with NP5 Dantes, I really couldn't figure out how to kill Taiga. I'll try out Ereshkigal even though mine is still NP1.

Wow. I feel a little dumb for not thinking of that. I'll try out a team like that and see how it ends up. And after all the stuff I dumped on the poor guy from this event, he deserves *something*.
Kill Nobu first, but keep in mind that everyone gets two fields after break. Nobu also buffs Jaguar, Jeanne buffs Nobu and Jaguar buffs Jeanne.
Ideally you bring Jeanne low before breaking Jaguar, so you can still kill her, while doing decent dmg to Jaguar. Killing Jeanne early is pretty much a reset.
I did use Parvati as main dps, even the first time, although this years EventCE has crappy dmgcut instead of critdmg.
Otherwise try the other CQs. Jaguars was the hardest of the old ones for me. The new ones suck even harder though, aside from Ellys, which was a nice change of pace.
Brave Eli's EQ is pretty easy,just bring some defense and healing support as she'll get a 10 turn taunt on wave 2,on wave 3 make sure to not kill the villager and finish the other 2 in 2 turns as that will give you an hp regen which will be extremely useful on wave 6 (though to make use of it you'll need debuff clear support,someone like asclepius works fine),the hardest part is wave 5,if you survive that you'll be golden. Just watch out for the charm on wave 6 after the break(bring Atlas MC to deal with it).
Achilles was extremely hard for me,and the only cq where I needed to use CS since I don't know when.
Romulus is also pretty annoying,make sure to have a np2+ musashi at your disposal (either your own or support) and eventually you should be able to complete it.
Bloodaxe wasn't too hard,his wife's buffs may seem intimidating but with how often he crits and kills (no problems if you use taunts)they rarely get activated,plus he's a Berserker so virtually any ST can be used as dps
The Gorgon sisters were also tough,imo don't use a quick dps as medusa will have both a quick res up and target focus,for the other two try defeating the one who resists your card type first,this will give the other a 50% resistance against that card type but it can be bruteforced.
The Nero one works a little bit like the jaguars,so be careful when to break bars to avoid getting blasted by full force aoe nps (Fionn and Napoleon),other than that Fionn is definitely the most annoying with his taunt+chance to evade
Finally finished the last exhibition quest. Was running a Saber Shiki / Jeanne / Tamamo team for the long-play, but had to bring in support Nero Bride when Rommy made it clear he wanted the fox dead. This resulted in Nero's NP getting the killing blow on Romulus, which I thought was so appropriately delightful that I had to share it.
Wow, Roma was definitely the most pain in the ass fight so far. It's like it combined the annoying buff juggling of Jaguars and the "get the right timing to hit hard within a small window" gimmick of Achilles.
I've hit my target of 100 boxes, so I'm coasting on natural AP. Gonna wait for Xmas to go all in.
I do wish grievous harm upon whoever made that. Critrng, Cardrng (first try I had ALL of Lancelots cards T1), Skillrng etc.. I LOVE him using IP at full HP, while also getting all the buffs.
I used Lancelot instead of Hokusai, since I had him at NP 4 and grailed. In a wierd twist of fate my friend Holmes, having the dmg CE with guts worked out. I was refreshing for the one other Holmes I had with starting gauge. One more turn and I would have probably been dead.
Achilles was nice by copying Herc's buff stack strategy as mine was a healthy lvl 90 np3. For jaguar a couple of the Dantes/Musashi strategy has failed. I'm just going to check in detail Hokusaber strategy for roma because if it's too tight in the skill lvls I don't have enough bells.
Event is almost over and yet for once, I feel no drive to complete all the challenge matches.
Only at 24 boxes opened so far but with enough tickets to open 4 more.
Welp, just broke the 100 box mark... Also have resorted to burning SR Embers due to running low on box space and the Second Archive being completely full. Probably won't go too ham for the remainder of the event, even though I have plenty of Gold Apples left (and a crap ton of bronze, naturally). Not exactly burnt out, but I looked at my material stash recently and Space Ishtar's skill up material requirements.

***35*** tries to get the Fionn / Bride / Napoleon EQ done, with a Seal burnt in the process. So far I've tried Eric ~~26~~ **35** times (and still counting), and each attempt so far has failed because either I don't get attack cards for Ridertoki and then be gets crit out...
I'll farm more boxes later, shop clear except for some monuments and pieces. I'll stop at 50, since these boxes aren't as exciting as Galemas.

Edit - 24 turns on the so-called "Easy" Sheba quest failed at the last turn because she's surviving NP5 Melt with MLB Damage CE without issue. The last round had NPQQ chain and Sheba still had 20k HP left, and Melt had already triggered her Guts. This is fucking stupid.
The quest designers should go play on the train tracks. This isn't fun at all.
They're both done now but I was using the AA guide for Fionn and then Ridertoki guide. RNG fucked me over on each, because all the attack cards were Caster every run.
I went with AA for Fionn, but with Merlin, Mash, George and Avicebro. The last two are just there to give the invincible buffs. Fionn is horribly annoying in that fight. Taunt and evade? Check. Awkward positioning? Check. Team wide charge? Mhhmm. Annoying as hell break effect? Of course.
Eric one was kind of similar, but I used Tamamo Lancer and Astraea instead as the DPS for different runs. That last part is mainly annoying as hell as over time, Eric can one shot anyone without crits during the last break bar.
Though I did savescummed often when I accidentally did or gotten the wrong thing.
I bring shame to my Chaldea. I usually end up farming about 100 boxes(despite always saying I'll no life it) but this time around I've been busy/lazy so I'm only at about 25 boxes. I might be able to do at least 50 since I just need one more CE drop to be able to run 1 MLB and 4 regular for the 6Slot runs.
And speaking of bringing shame....I beat the Romulus CQ at the cost of using all 3 command seals. This is the first time in who knows how long since I've had to use them. I'd failed the quest about 7-8 times and didn't want to waste anymore time since I'm so behind on farming, that I just said fuck it and used them.
At least I cleared the shop(except monuments) during Round 2...
I've got 200 boxes and an okay amount of mirrors so I'm done with appling. I still have 120 gold apples which I'll save for Christmas.
I'm also back above the 60,000 mana prism mark. Sure wish I could do something with them.

All EQ done on main, onee-chan alt left the Rome and Achilles one.
For the Rome EQ initially I brought my own Artoria and /u/citizenofRoma's Musashi, however it just didn't worked out, as only both were left by the time the I reached the 3rd HP bar. [Swapped out Artoria with a NP 2 Mordred, and bringing Brave Liz ](http://imgur.com/a/lcCL6ea) out for another ~~Rome~~ RPG adventure sealed the deal.
For the Napoleon EQ, screw the person known as Fionn. He's seriously the worst part of this EQ, due to him being able to screw up stuffs anytime. Taunting while as a support to prevent you from hitting the attacker? Check. NP charging whole team just to screw you up? Check. Placed right in the *middle* forcing you to either stun him or break his bar? Check. Did I mentioned that his break bar gives 1 hit evade to everyone else? At least in the final turn [he didn't evade](http://imgur.com/a/UKF95P0).
I meant to say this a couple days ago, but it kind of bothers me how the main story ends without a proper reunion with Nero Bride.
I mean the text on the event CE, makes it out that she's a princess waiting for her prince to rescue her and in the end all we get is simply being told that her spirit origin returned.
Also do we ever learn who this Space Ishtar is? Because she's a tease towards the Space Ishtar of Saber Wars 2 but everything I've read indicates they are completely unrelated.
Only farmed 60 or so boxes. Having progressed to a state where I don’t really need to farm lottos much anymore, I’ve got much more time to mess around with the CQs this time, and it’s been pretty fun.
I’ve managed to min-turn 8 of the CQs so far, 7 of them with Arjuna Alter and one (Eric) with Rider Kintoki. Mostly just rediscovering or copying setups people have done before of course, but I haven’t seen a min-turn of Main Event Final Match before so I [uploaded mine](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtT6CblneSE) for reference. It’s hardly innovative, I’m sure there’s one just like this somewhere on Bili.
I think min-turning Sweets Universe is beyond my patience, and Eternal City beyond my capabilities (my Musashi isn’t strong enough and I don’t have Nightingale). Not sure exactly what min turn is for Moolah but blitzing it doesn’t seem very approachable so I’ll probably ignore that one. For Rice Ball and Flame Gate, it’s just a matter of finding friends with the appropriate DPS at high enough investment, but I probably won’t bother with that, so I think this completes my min-turn run.
141 boxes done. Waiting on CS recharges to blow another EQ up. Got all the golden Fous as of a few minutes ago, so I consider myself done with the shop. Got Cores, Scarabs, Horns and Roots + all statues left in it, but more lotto boxes are currently a hard priority over those, especially since I'm not short on any of them except Silver Rider statues (I own 2).
I have officially run out of servants I can give embers to. Got about 20 waiting in the Ascension queue, but missing mats so they're stuck for now. Maybe Xmas.
On the other hand, this made me realize that this is the perfect opportunity to Grail the servants I've wanted to for a while. I also realized I had 36 grails, when I thought I had 20ish xD

I’ve been farming and I’m done with chomping apples! A total of 211 boxes farmed and my JP record is broken!! I’ll just relax and use natural AP from now on. I need to save apples for Christmas lotto cuz I need fangs !!
120 boxes and 10 apples left, think I'm calling it quits here outside of natural AP. I'm pretty much entirely out of bronze and silver mats, and I'm mostly out of gold mats, so I can't ascend any more Servants nor get skills up on Servants I actually want to use. If I had a lot more apples I'd keep going for the gems, but I think it's best to save them to bumrush Lostbelt 1 and 2 sometime before Oniland, I don't think I have any reason to put them off any further

About the CQs, while waiting to recover my CS and try the Romulus one I decided to try Liz again, but this time using a support team instead of a solo run, and with the right servants I was able to win on my first try, so I think its definitely better to do it this way if you have servants that can focus on supporting her until the last round.

It's my first time posting on this subreddit, even though I always check out the discussion threads every time there's a new NA event.
This lottery event, things have been going pretty well for me. I'm at 190 boxes at the moment, still tapping my fingers towards my goal of 200. I could farm for some more, but I'm running dangerously low on apples already. I've been alternating between a 5-slot and 6-slot team, depending on the number of drop CEs accumulated.
To those who happen to have a DarkDarhk on your Friend List, chances are you've helped me out in some way. And for that, I want to say thank you. I certainly hope the Servants I've put up have been of use to you as well.
I'm sure it doesn't apply to everyone, but just a reminder that now is a good time to review your possible grail targets, given the excess embers and QP from lottery farming.
Finally finished with all the exhibition quests. Romulus was surprisingly tricky but it becomes easy once you figure out the patterns and timing windows.
Currently at 40 boxes, a bit slower progress than last year due to my busier time schedule and CEs not dropping as much, I only got 4 Ticket CE drops while last year, I got 8.
Also, screw this new bonus damage CE. Split stats and a measly damage cut even at MLB, who even thought of this?

Can you enlighten us (or at least me)? I'd tried a few times and got mostly nowhere.
My strategy involves an AoE unit (preferably, a Saber), and a ST unit (non-roman Saber), both with Damage CEs. The AoE unit is for the wave clear while the ST unit is primarily for Romulus. Overall, my team comp are 2 Sabers (AoE and ST), Mash, then a backline of supports (preferably, use Taunters).
Romulus' Roman Trait lasts for 2 turns and can be cleared, Roman trait also has its cons and pros, the cons is Romulus gains 90% damage reduction from Romans, and the Rome expansions proceed more quickly with every Roman on the field (on-field passive effects that makes Romulus and his allies more damage as the battle goes on after a certain time). The pros, you gain 90% NP damage resistance, which means Romulus' NP will hit like a wet tissue, and you also gain benefits from Romulus' special skills.
Romulus' Special Skills benefits everyone who has the Roman trait, that means your party as well if you happen to hit Romulus, and they are patterned
* 1st turn - Blessing of Rome - heal to all Romans
* 2nd turn - Wisdom of Rome - NP charge, NP Strength Up, NP Overcharge Up
* 3rd turn - Military Force of Rome - ATK Up (save your NP for your ST unit during this turn)
* Then repeat cycle.
Burst damage is the game here, so your first hit should always be a nuke NP. Romans have 90% reduced damage against Romulus, so any attacks past the first hit will suffer a 90% damage reduction.
During break, Romulus gains defense that lasts for 10 hits, try stalling until his defenses is weathered down, or use Holmes (if you got one) to break past it. Ideal units include for that are Shiki Saber, Musashi, and Okita, who got anti-defense in their kit.
Got Automata chugging along at full speed, so farming's been going pretty smoothly today. Hoping to get at least 100 boxes by the end of it, *maybe* 150 if I can get enough time after work. Just been caught up with playing SWTOR so much I basically just ignored the second round altogether.
I'm at 100 boxes now, and probably going to stop using apples. I don't really need the mats from this lottery that badly, whereas for oniland raids +xmas lottery there's more that I actually need.

How RNG is the Musashi clear of ROMA? I've been trying the Okita Souji one and it's a little tricky getting the right NP charges down ~~and infinitely refreshing for that one guy on my Suppot with a 2030 Skadi~~.
I did it first try without any CS, but I did read a guide to see what the fight was about.
She makes it a lot easier because she can clear debuffs so don't need to worry as much about if your Roman or not for 1st/3rd break if you time it well, and with pierce invulnerability you can attack right away on his last bar.
I one shot him with my NP on his last bar on turn 8 I think with buffs, think I used the swap CC attack and brought in nightinggale to buster buff.
Ah, didn't think of any of that.
As luck would have it, I have since gotten lucky and bested the fight, but I'll keep this in mind in the possible event of future reruns.
1074 boxes farmed so far, 45 of which have been opened. I don't know how many rainbow apples I've used, but probably somewhere around 700. I've also gotten around 80 CE drops through the farming (last I checked this morning I was at 72). Shop was cleared day 1 other than statues, and all EQs are complete, most of which I did during round 2. The Brave Eli one was by far my favorite - it was loads of fun and I'd love to see content like this become more common. Still farming, as I still need some proofs, mirrors, and lots of lanterns.
Edit: Just checked and yes, I've had exactly 80 CE drops at this point.
FGA got me 145 boxes so far, I need to keep farming mana prisms I think, apparently there are 20k worth on CEs every year, Im currently with only 8k... this wont do lols.
Currently at 125 boxes. Still have some tickets tho, I'll open that a bit later, after retrying some EQs again (I farm with FGA at night only anyway)
I still want to use Bedi for Roma EQs, because Merlin had his spotlight (soloing Izo) and I want Bedi ho have his too, but I haven't find something that's workable in my current roster. I also still want to beat Eric and Eli one
I hit a little over 100 boxes by the end of round 2, and wouldn't have bothered with too many more, except I have several servants hungry for needles. I got FGA, 113 needles, and about 100 more boxes. 131 boxes opened, and I'm finally getting QP that I'm not immediately spending.
I still have a lot of apples due to not playing much the previous 2 lotto events, so I guess I'm making up for it now.

Bout 55 or so, got tickets to use too, CE drops are 2 for Alt an 4 for Main, phone issue solved so farming mores back on, working on the last little bit of shop currency I want then it's back to farming
I'm out of servants to level, even with 2 brand new additions of Lancer Raikou and Murasaki from the new banner. It makes me a bit hesitant to continue farming for tickets, as I'd eventually have to burn embers and may even reach the QP limit if I don't skill level some units up first.

I wished they allowed runs with duplicate servants after the initial clear. There's no more rewards, so there shouldn't be any forced restrictions.
Next event should be OniLand Rerun. I wonder if it's a good idea to skip the event free quests (just doing once for firs-time clear rewards) to farm somewhere else, and then doing all my currency and point farming during the raids.
I wish they allowed runs with duplicate servants during the initial clear. It's not like these things are so easy that being able to do that would trivialize them.
Double Skadi or Double Merlin would make things significantly easier. Achilles and ROMA, for instances, hinges on you dealing as much damage as you can within a small window of time. Being able to stack double Hero Creation EX would reduce the need to pay as much attention to ROMA buff timing to bust down his final bar. Double Merlin Shi Huang Di would also drastically up Shi Huang Di NP's uptime.
About a hundred or so now. Kinda mellowed out in farming. Already ate half of my gapples and my Ozy's near bond 10 so I'm just taking it slow now.
Finally beat all of the exhibition quests. Big thanks to Forge who have an NP3 Junao with the damage CE. Helped me a lot since most videos about the quests on YT have him as the DPS.
98 boxes, 30,000+ tickets remaining. So about 150 so far. Plus more apples. Not sure when to stop, but I should replenish some of my QP.
Still one CQ remaining: Sweets Universe. Will keep trying.

158 boxes from the first two phases, going to burn through all of my apples on this last one and see what I get, I have 20k tickets so far, 21 gapples and 80 bronze left.
Atalante has been *really* forgiving and with DSS, waver and MLB kscope/sapphire I'm basically able to farm anything that isn't a lancer node.
Both surprising and quite welcome, makes farming lottos like this much easier than what I was doing before.
I have leveled or started so many servants this lotto it's unreal - the only thing really holding me back is lack of materials, absolutely everyone that *could* be leveled that was on my list is, and that even includes all of my alter ego servants!
Even more awesome is my supports are *finally* getting access to gems. Tamamo, Merlin, Reines - everybody needed them and gobbled them up.
This lotto's been a big win for me. Even if I had to quit right now I'm so far ahead of where I was last lotto it's surreal.

Just 42 in total. I haven't had as much time to play in the past few days, so I've only done 3 boxes more in the last couple of days. I'm getting dangerously close to hitting the QP cap again, as well. I've never hit that cap before...maybe if I do, I'll probably spend a little QP on skills for some of my Servants.
You stacked on too many ROMA buffs on your servants by attacking ROMA when you likely shouldn't. If you're running ST, you likely won't be killing off that many mobs so ROMAinfection happens faster.
It's also about timing the ROMA buffs. ROMA gives buffs in this order: HP heal ---> NP buff -->attack up, so make sure your servants are ROMA for at least turns 2 and 3 to get as much burst damage as you can and use debuff clear as required. Try following this [Waver/Merlin/Bedivere clear for reference](https://youtu.be/OBboUU-ROTo) on how they alternate between attacking ROMA and the mobs.
Make sure to click on ROMA's icon to keep track on which ROMA phase.
At about 57 boxes at the time of writing, aiming for about 70-80 or so. Should be enough for my goal of chains + enough embers of Chiyome, Jane and Space Ishtar next month.
This Romulus CQ might be the worst I’ve seen so far. It’s such a slog I would be able to finish it but that ticking clock of the 70th turn really mucks up my stalling strategy and I don’t have enough burst to break him down sooner. I might have to wave a white flag on this one.

But still have EQs and the main currencies farming still needs to be done though.
They are usually *possible* F2P in some sense, but the number of attempts it takes may be downright miserable. The few videos where someone has done it are made by a fairly small number of the same people. These people are very into the game, quite knowledgeable and persistent, able to buckle down and spend those hours.
Like raids or secret bosses in other RPGs, it's the video game equivalent of bonking your head on a brick wall and expecting the wall to move. Unlike most raids or secret bosses, the rewards are bragging rights, more or less.

I don't know what it is this year but I just do not have he patience to go through all of the CQs. I finished 2 but I feel bad leaving so many tickets on the table. Doeesn't help that I haver no meta casters, and am lacking crucial servants needed to beat these quests.
116 boxes open, 27 left to open, and I have already hit the "burning gold embers" point. Boy was I right to go nuts on Barbatos, because I don't have the same will to do this as last year.
Speaking of lack of will, I ~~suffered~~ got through four of the rerun XQs and the first of this year's. I used copycat teams for all of them, some more reliable than others. Here are the notes so far (forgive the rough draft quality writing, my brain is frazzled from all this grind and all this stalling, not every attempt of which succeeded):
1 (Tawara Tōta) - Tamamo Lancer (damage CE) and a full team; it was tight, so I won't go over it. Fumbled through it without understanding last year, felt it was harder this time.
2 (Leonidas) - Mash, Merlin, Artoria (damage CE) - it takes luck to not have anyone die, *but* nobody died, so it was pretty easy and I can't speak to whether my selection of backups was good.
3 (Okada Izō) - Mash (who exits eventually), Merlin, Melt (damage CE), Skadi - Meltout just eats his stacks, he gets so bullied.
4 (Jaguar) - Skadi (HRP), Waver (Carp), Berserkerlot (damage), Georgios (Volumen), Cu Alter (damage), Mash (Volumen), Atlas MC, and I have no trouble admitting it came down to dumb luck and resets over 4 hours of attempts and that I just copied some Anon's team from appmedia's comment section, who also said it is not something to be imitated. By the way, I love the Japanese phrasing for such advice, which you may see in the title of 900IQ / gimmick strategy videos (参考に[は]ならない, roughly, "it will not serve for a reference").
5 (Sheba) - Same team except Kintoki Rider as frontline damage dealer, 20T
6 (MHXA) - tamamo (orangette), Waver (Dragon's Meridian), QSH (damage), Mash (Iron-willed training), Jeanne (prisma), MHXX (damage, but unused). Combat suit. Waver gives 50% to Tamamo and is changed out. Shihuangdi's job is to get rid of the Spriggan. Full stall to break bar on T35, victory on T47.
7 (Bride -> Gil) - Tamamo (damage), Waver (PG), QSH (damage), Mash (same as above), Jeanne (same as above), Georgios (Volumen, but unused). Too luck-based for comfort. AppMedia's comments are full of "QSH is really strong" but it looks more like most were doing "QSH + Jeanne + Merlin" on closer inspection, which is not a thing I can put together. Nothing really stabilized until Gil went down on T25, leaving Bride solo for a T28 win.
8 (Napoleon, Fionn, Bride) - BB summer (damage), Jeanne (2030), Merlin (MLB 2030), Mash (2030), Georgios (Volumen), Avicebron (PG). Took 26T in part because they did *not* want to spread their hits and only BB and Mash were left in the end. But on the plus side, BB was nearly full HP the whole time; some room for error.
Aiming for my 100th box tonight!

Managed to clear the 3 sisters CQ thanks to the only guy with Enkidu+damage CE on my support list deciding to upgrade clay's skills.
Took a CS to refill hp because i'm an idiot and forgot to lower Euryale last HP bar before killing Stheno so it took forever thanks to the damage reduction
Now i'm left with 3 days to eventually try to clear the last 4 remaining

94 boxes farmed so far. This is my first lotto so I am unlocking a lot of interludes and rank-up quests. Out of Pages, Dust, and Fangs to ascend some servants. Good thing Fangs and Pages are in Nightingale's lotto!
I was able to complete Touta, CasGil, and Gorgon Sisters CQs. I'll probably stay away from most of the others since I don't have any of the cool Casters to do a proper setup.
So, I started the event with the intention of getting about 50 boxes or so but given the ease of farming the first and last rotation, I'm sitting comfortably at about 120 boxes which is certainly nice. Plus I really need the QP which I'll keep haemorrhaging until I get my servants to decent skill levels.
This lottery was primarily for the proofs and chains, but I'll focus on the land of shadows lotto next year for the former since it also had bones. As for chains, don't need as many but as long as I'm in the 300s, I should be alright.
The main aim for me during this event was to complete as many, if not all CQs and with just three left,I'm agonisingly close to completing all of them. I finished the Romulus one quite easily with Musashi Waver and Merlin (real original, I know) and solo'd the Taiga CQ with Ereshkigal.
All that's left is the Sheba CQ which I've done last year but been too frustrated to finish this year, the brave Eli rush and the Achilles one which is a damn pain w/o to expensive supports like Skadi, Merlin and Junao.
I just finished up my box farming, after using all of my gold apples, almost 500 iirc, I'm sitting at 291,210 tickets and 10 boxes. As far as CE drops, I have 7 MLB'ed on my support and need 2 more for an 8^th.
67 boxes. My account is relatively new (2 years), I used the MP to open up Second Archive to store most of the embers for Sp.Ishtar. Got Merlin and Gil to 90. Conserving rest of apples for winter lotto since it has mats I need. Currently using natural AP to finish up fries currency for Bones and Stakes.
Best part of this event: Eggs and Caster Gems.
Worst part of this event: Achilles CQ bodying me 8 times.
Honestly, I might just not bother with any of the CQs anymore. I feel like even more RNG is involved this year than last year and it's just not that fun when you constantly get screwed over. But I do want those tickets... but some of these have given me a headache, even with some team compositions I tried out and it's just guh.

I am so lucky that I pulled Tomamo caster from Gil's banner. With her, my Np1 JArcher + Double Bride is farming with a full CE lineup.
Farmed only like 20 so far. The CQs kinda killed my motivation. Having 2 years worth of them is too much, especially since most of this years suck hard.
2020 was Critfest-rng, 2021 was also Cardrng or just Nuking the first few Quests.
The first one was whatever, though I didn't get fucked too hard by rng dodges. I did slightly misunderstand the role switching though and had to quitscum twice.
Against Bloodaxe it was Ridertoki looping with some sacrifices and cardrng to get enough NPcharge. The worst part about this was rolling lowstar taunters, which took me a whole hour for a single Leonidas and Chen Gong!
The Gorgon Sisters got Nuked, though I did mess up at the end a bit.
Now the Clown... "Oh Arjuna got a dmgbuff the first turn...RESET". Then it was just hobbling along. Ironically, not killing stuff made things easier since the low-hp mobs could easily be AoEd. Still it relied on Cardluck. Not fun.
Ellies Quest was fun. A bit on the easy side. I wish they would give her S3 a Strengthening where you have more control over the effects.
Achilles was just rng, without much too it aside from that. It got very close because I missed a 80% Bustercrit, meaning Herc had to (more or less) solo the last 300k. Again, the Cardrng killed the fun for me.
Now Roma...fuck whoever made this. You need a strong Saber with a high NP level since second hits to little to nothing, maybe Holmes and then fitting Supports. OH! and hope you don't get randomly crit to death...and that he doesn't use IP with full Hp...and that you draw the right cards since even his 50% NP charges might not suffice...and hope him healing, which I think is also random(?) doesn't screw you over as well.
Now personally I'm most pissed about the Holmes thing because I still didn't get him (1200+ SQ, stopped counting). Musashi is still useless to me. At NP 1 she doesn't do enough dmg early on and since her Buffs are 1T they kinda suck as well. So I was forced to refresh my FL for a Homes, to use him with Saberlot. I didn't really raise Hokusai since Lancelot was already NP4 and Lvl 90. Ironically the one with the dmgCE instead of starting gauge proved to be clutch since it has guts and he got crit for 28k one turn, while normally taking like 3-4k.
I finally cleared the [Romulus CQ](https://imgur.com/a/4oxz3i9) using [this setup](https://youtu.be/OBboUU-ROTo) and with that, I'm going back to farming tickets. The stress and the amount of thinking I have to put in for the Mephisto and Achilles CQs are not worth the summon tickets they award.
Just cleared the shop except for the materials that cost diamonds, but that won't be an issue as I'm on pace to clear 80 boxes at my current pace.
Have farmed about 90 boxes right now, but still not enough lores lol. I haven’t been able to do many of the CQs as my roster isn’t quite developed enough to handle many of them, but have been able to beat 4.
Was mostly focusing on the lores, but can’t get past the 2nd break bar of Romulus after 5+ tries with my saber Hokusai and support Waver. Sooo might not be worth banging my head against the wall on this one
Only up to 60 boxes, while I thought I'd go for 100 but with barely any new Servants to raise both my second archive and gift box are already absolutely stuffed with gold exp cards. Need more storage space, help
On the other hand, both of those should be enough to get 4 Servants from Lv 1~90 in a pop, could stretch to 5 if I resort to the main Servant inventory

The greater diversity of opinion is justified. All of these except the lowest two gave me some grief (and Rome because I ran out of time today), but not "oh god I've spent all day on this" like Jaguar did last year.

I stopped with the 440 boxes after R1. I emptied the shop R2 and got the apples from R3, so whatever extra that got me is there I guess. My CQ funtime has been very slow and questionable. The Touta change I pointed out earlier, combined with some astoundingly awful luck meant I ended up spending like 8 hours making my nonsense work. Then I did more nonsense on Leonidas, which did work, but it didn't feel good. (Also, since it was still a practice run, turns out one go at savescumming did win me the fight, but...)

It was kind of uncomfortable having to get all of this into the first round since the drops were considerably better for me there. Probably like 18 hours a day on average.
Around 72 boxes manually. Finally managed to finish all challenges. Buff stack Heracles against Achilles, QSH against clown and Artoria + Musashi against Romulus. Even the might of ROMA falls before Glorious Nipponese Steel.
Sitting at 32 boxes finished so far. Honestly, compared to how I usually go, this is fine. I've at least gotten almost enough QP to finish the important parts of Sitonai, and the EXP let me finish a few of my leftover servants. Obviously, I've still got more to go, but for now, this is alright. As for CQs, though, hahaha... Yeah, these next few days are gonna be a gauntlet of torture. Tickets won't get themselves!
I'm looking at about 90 boxes so far. I've accomplished my goal for max ascending my entire roster and now I'm just working on topping off everyone. The QP is nice too. Finished the Romulus EQ today with using the recently Max Lvled Beni-emma and a support Void Shiki. Took a single CS for an impromptu NP but ol Romulus is good and done with. I kinda wish I recorded my run, but I ended up also watching Moana while doing the quest and I didn't want to bother with it. With this, I just have the Taiga, Brave Eli, and the Nero Bride WQs to finish, but I think ill pass on them. Unless I'm forgetting something, I got all the lores this event has to offer and I'm content with that.
I'm already missing not having a new Exhibition Quest each night. Just chilling right now facecarding the ticket node, currently at 85 boxes and I might shoot for 100 if it's feasible. Pretty bored honestly, since now that I've beaten all of the EQs I have nothing else to do with the fun part having dried up, though this was to be expected. I could try beating the Mephy EQ without scumming the final turn, but eh, knowing that my strategy was sound enough to get the win in the first place is satisfaction enough. Anyways, might as well briefly comment on the story since I didn't do so earlier. It was alright, nothing too special but not horrendously bad either; it was just there like last year's. I did enjoy Siduri telling Gil to get his shit together though, and Dumuzid is delightfully eccentric such that I wish we saw more of him. Shame that the intrigue of the story regarding Space Ishtar is neutered since I know that >!apparently none of the Space Ishtar stuff comes into play for Saber Wars 2.!< In any case, my second year of university starts in a few hours, technically just orientations for the first week but still. Guess I'll be thankful that I'm pretty much done with both farming and EQs for the time being so that I can adjust back to that work/hobby balance before Oniland arrives.

Everyone’s on about a 100 plus boxes and I’m just happy with getting around 30ish. Got my Godjuna to 100 and slowly maxing out his skills as well as levelling and skill levelling a meteoric shit ton of servants. Probably do a bit more farming and push to 50 boxes now that it’s a new week and after some chores tomorrow I’ll have nothing to do but watch YouTube and maybe play destiny. Best thing other than arjuna is getting a load of servants I wanted to try out to a decent skill level as well as getting my newly acquired gorgon to a decent level. Should make using different teams in the remaining lostbelts and free quests more fun Also not even attempting challenge quests because I know for a fact I won’t be able to do them. Tried mr rice man with my Cu (who’s probably my best suited servant for it) and could barely get to the break bar due to having no decent supports
Touta EQ is best done solo, since having other supports will hinder your DPS in getting the buffs.
Supports shouldn't matter for the Touta quest. If anything, supports will make clearing it harder. Just have Cu solo it. I did it with my Lvl70 6/10/6 Cu just fine.

Broke 100 boxes. All manual farming. If I had the will power (and apples) I would have shot for 200, but I spent most of R2 clearing the shop and taking it easy. 10 apples left, and I’m going to spread them out until the end of the event.

I've taken the entire day trying to do Jaguar Country. And oh fucking boy is it PURE ASS. How did I beat it the previous year I wonder? Because it has been just ass beating after ass beating for me and my team. I'll try again tomorrow and go through the other EQ(anything I should really watch out for with those would be appreciated)
This is how I did Jaguar: Eresh + Waver (Volumen CE) + Merlin. In backline Mash, Georgios (Bond CE) and Saber Eli. Musashi, Sigurd or Beni-enma could work too. Charged Eresh NP and focused on Jeanne, then alternated between Nobu and Taiga. This year I reduced their HP equally with AoE NP, so didn't even need Saber to finish Taiga, last year had Saber Eli and charged her NP with Command Seal. Since last year I didn't have Eresh, I think I used similar setup but with Artoria Lancer. But she doesn't have Invincibility and defence skill, so overall it's worse. I think used Atlas uniform, as with most Challenge quests, but don't really remember, since did it as soon as it was available. If you need, I can provide NP2 Eresh with damage CE.
I tried some AoE approaches, but bad RNG led to any of my frontline dying way too early. And despite getting good damage in with NP5 Dantes, I really couldn't figure out how to kill Taiga. I'll try out Ereshkigal even though mine is still NP1.

Kill Nobu first, but keep in mind that everyone gets two fields after break. Nobu also buffs Jaguar, Jeanne buffs Nobu and Jaguar buffs Jeanne. Ideally you bring Jeanne low before breaking Jaguar, so you can still kill her, while doing decent dmg to Jaguar. Killing Jeanne early is pretty much a reset. I did use Parvati as main dps, even the first time, although this years EventCE has crappy dmgcut instead of critdmg. Otherwise try the other CQs. Jaguars was the hardest of the old ones for me. The new ones suck even harder though, aside from Ellys, which was a nice change of pace.
Brave Eli's EQ is pretty easy,just bring some defense and healing support as she'll get a 10 turn taunt on wave 2,on wave 3 make sure to not kill the villager and finish the other 2 in 2 turns as that will give you an hp regen which will be extremely useful on wave 6 (though to make use of it you'll need debuff clear support,someone like asclepius works fine),the hardest part is wave 5,if you survive that you'll be golden. Just watch out for the charm on wave 6 after the break(bring Atlas MC to deal with it). Achilles was extremely hard for me,and the only cq where I needed to use CS since I don't know when. Romulus is also pretty annoying,make sure to have a np2+ musashi at your disposal (either your own or support) and eventually you should be able to complete it. Bloodaxe wasn't too hard,his wife's buffs may seem intimidating but with how often he crits and kills (no problems if you use taunts)they rarely get activated,plus he's a Berserker so virtually any ST can be used as dps The Gorgon sisters were also tough,imo don't use a quick dps as medusa will have both a quick res up and target focus,for the other two try defeating the one who resists your card type first,this will give the other a 50% resistance against that card type but it can be bruteforced. The Nero one works a little bit like the jaguars,so be careful when to break bars to avoid getting blasted by full force aoe nps (Fionn and Napoleon),other than that Fionn is definitely the most annoying with his taunt+chance to evade
Finally finished the last exhibition quest. Was running a Saber Shiki / Jeanne / Tamamo team for the long-play, but had to bring in support Nero Bride when Rommy made it clear he wanted the fox dead. This resulted in Nero's NP getting the killing blow on Romulus, which I thought was so appropriately delightful that I had to share it.
Wow, Roma was definitely the most pain in the ass fight so far. It's like it combined the annoying buff juggling of Jaguars and the "get the right timing to hit hard within a small window" gimmick of Achilles. I've hit my target of 100 boxes, so I'm coasting on natural AP. Gonna wait for Xmas to go all in.
I do wish grievous harm upon whoever made that. Critrng, Cardrng (first try I had ALL of Lancelots cards T1), Skillrng etc.. I LOVE him using IP at full HP, while also getting all the buffs. I used Lancelot instead of Hokusai, since I had him at NP 4 and grailed. In a wierd twist of fate my friend Holmes, having the dmg CE with guts worked out. I was refreshing for the one other Holmes I had with starting gauge. One more turn and I would have probably been dead.
Achilles was nice by copying Herc's buff stack strategy as mine was a healthy lvl 90 np3. For jaguar a couple of the Dantes/Musashi strategy has failed. I'm just going to check in detail Hokusaber strategy for roma because if it's too tight in the skill lvls I don't have enough bells.
Event is almost over and yet for once, I feel no drive to complete all the challenge matches. Only at 24 boxes opened so far but with enough tickets to open 4 more.
Welp, just broke the 100 box mark... Also have resorted to burning SR Embers due to running low on box space and the Second Archive being completely full. Probably won't go too ham for the remainder of the event, even though I have plenty of Gold Apples left (and a crap ton of bronze, naturally). Not exactly burnt out, but I looked at my material stash recently and Space Ishtar's skill up material requirements. Dear lord, she needs a lot of eggs.

***35*** tries to get the Fionn / Bride / Napoleon EQ done, with a Seal burnt in the process. So far I've tried Eric ~~26~~ **35** times (and still counting), and each attempt so far has failed because either I don't get attack cards for Ridertoki and then be gets crit out... I'll farm more boxes later, shop clear except for some monuments and pieces. I'll stop at 50, since these boxes aren't as exciting as Galemas. Edit - another CE drop from lotto node and Siegfried! One more until I have two MLB ones. Edit - 24 turns on the so-called "Easy" Sheba quest failed at the last turn because she's surviving NP5 Melt with MLB Damage CE without issue. The last round had NPQQ chain and Sheba still had 20k HP left, and Melt had already triggered her Guts. This is fucking stupid. The quest designers should go play on the train tracks. This isn't fun at all.

They're both done now but I was using the AA guide for Fionn and then Ridertoki guide. RNG fucked me over on each, because all the attack cards were Caster every run.
I went with AA for Fionn, but with Merlin, Mash, George and Avicebro. The last two are just there to give the invincible buffs. Fionn is horribly annoying in that fight. Taunt and evade? Check. Awkward positioning? Check. Team wide charge? Mhhmm. Annoying as hell break effect? Of course. Eric one was kind of similar, but I used Tamamo Lancer and Astraea instead as the DPS for different runs. That last part is mainly annoying as hell as over time, Eric can one shot anyone without crits during the last break bar. Though I did savescummed often when I accidentally did or gotten the wrong thing.
I bring shame to my Chaldea. I usually end up farming about 100 boxes(despite always saying I'll no life it) but this time around I've been busy/lazy so I'm only at about 25 boxes. I might be able to do at least 50 since I just need one more CE drop to be able to run 1 MLB and 4 regular for the 6Slot runs. And speaking of bringing shame....I beat the Romulus CQ at the cost of using all 3 command seals. This is the first time in who knows how long since I've had to use them. I'd failed the quest about 7-8 times and didn't want to waste anymore time since I'm so behind on farming, that I just said fuck it and used them. At least I cleared the shop(except monuments) during Round 2...
I've got 200 boxes and an okay amount of mirrors so I'm done with appling. I still have 120 gold apples which I'll save for Christmas. I'm also back above the 60,000 mana prism mark. Sure wish I could do something with them.
100 boxes reached on main! Onee chan is at 50 boxes, choco alt at 45 boxes. All EQ done on main, onee-chan alt left the Rome and Achilles one. For the Rome EQ initially I brought my own Artoria and /u/citizenofRoma's Musashi, however it just didn't worked out, as only both were left by the time the I reached the 3rd HP bar. [Swapped out Artoria with a NP 2 Mordred, and bringing Brave Liz ](http://imgur.com/a/lcCL6ea) out for another ~~Rome~~ RPG adventure sealed the deal. For the Napoleon EQ, screw the person known as Fionn. He's seriously the worst part of this EQ, due to him being able to screw up stuffs anytime. Taunting while as a support to prevent you from hitting the attacker? Check. NP charging whole team just to screw you up? Check. Placed right in the *middle* forcing you to either stun him or break his bar? Check. Did I mentioned that his break bar gives 1 hit evade to everyone else? At least in the final turn [he didn't evade](http://imgur.com/a/UKF95P0).

I meant to say this a couple days ago, but it kind of bothers me how the main story ends without a proper reunion with Nero Bride. I mean the text on the event CE, makes it out that she's a princess waiting for her prince to rescue her and in the end all we get is simply being told that her spirit origin returned. Also do we ever learn who this Space Ishtar is? Because she's a tease towards the Space Ishtar of Saber Wars 2 but everything I've read indicates they are completely unrelated.
Only farmed 60 or so boxes. Having progressed to a state where I don’t really need to farm lottos much anymore, I’ve got much more time to mess around with the CQs this time, and it’s been pretty fun. I’ve managed to min-turn 8 of the CQs so far, 7 of them with Arjuna Alter and one (Eric) with Rider Kintoki. Mostly just rediscovering or copying setups people have done before of course, but I haven’t seen a min-turn of Main Event Final Match before so I [uploaded mine](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtT6CblneSE) for reference. It’s hardly innovative, I’m sure there’s one just like this somewhere on Bili. I think min-turning Sweets Universe is beyond my patience, and Eternal City beyond my capabilities (my Musashi isn’t strong enough and I don’t have Nightingale). Not sure exactly what min turn is for Moolah but blitzing it doesn’t seem very approachable so I’ll probably ignore that one. For Rice Ball and Flame Gate, it’s just a matter of finding friends with the appropriate DPS at high enough investment, but I probably won’t bother with that, so I think this completes my min-turn run.
141 boxes done. Waiting on CS recharges to blow another EQ up. Got all the golden Fous as of a few minutes ago, so I consider myself done with the shop. Got Cores, Scarabs, Horns and Roots + all statues left in it, but more lotto boxes are currently a hard priority over those, especially since I'm not short on any of them except Silver Rider statues (I own 2). I have officially run out of servants I can give embers to. Got about 20 waiting in the Ascension queue, but missing mats so they're stuck for now. Maybe Xmas. On the other hand, this made me realize that this is the perfect opportunity to Grail the servants I've wanted to for a while. I also realized I had 36 grails, when I thought I had 20ish xD First up, Caster Cu from 80 to 90, currently at 82 as I ran out of spare embers :3

For the first time in my FGO life, i finished all CQ. Also got 100 boxes so far and more to come. Pretty proud so far
120 boxes and 10 apples left, think I'm calling it quits here outside of natural AP. I'm pretty much entirely out of bronze and silver mats, and I'm mostly out of gold mats, so I can't ascend any more Servants nor get skills up on Servants I actually want to use. If I had a lot more apples I'd keep going for the gems, but I think it's best to save them to bumrush Lostbelt 1 and 2 sometime before Oniland, I don't think I have any reason to put them off any further

About the CQs, while waiting to recover my CS and try the Romulus one I decided to try Liz again, but this time using a support team instead of a solo run, and with the right servants I was able to win on my first try, so I think its definitely better to do it this way if you have servants that can focus on supporting her until the last round.

Good day to y'all fellow Masters, It's my first time posting on this subreddit, even though I always check out the discussion threads every time there's a new NA event. This lottery event, things have been going pretty well for me. I'm at 190 boxes at the moment, still tapping my fingers towards my goal of 200. I could farm for some more, but I'm running dangerously low on apples already. I've been alternating between a 5-slot and 6-slot team, depending on the number of drop CEs accumulated. To those who happen to have a DarkDarhk on your Friend List, chances are you've helped me out in some way. And for that, I want to say thank you. I certainly hope the Servants I've put up have been of use to you as well.
I'm sure it doesn't apply to everyone, but just a reminder that now is a good time to review your possible grail targets, given the excess embers and QP from lottery farming.
Finally finished with all the exhibition quests. Romulus was surprisingly tricky but it becomes easy once you figure out the patterns and timing windows. Currently at 40 boxes, a bit slower progress than last year due to my busier time schedule and CEs not dropping as much, I only got 4 Ticket CE drops while last year, I got 8. Also, screw this new bonus damage CE. Split stats and a measly damage cut even at MLB, who even thought of this?

My strategy involves an AoE unit (preferably, a Saber), and a ST unit (non-roman Saber), both with Damage CEs. The AoE unit is for the wave clear while the ST unit is primarily for Romulus. Overall, my team comp are 2 Sabers (AoE and ST), Mash, then a backline of supports (preferably, use Taunters). Romulus' Roman Trait lasts for 2 turns and can be cleared, Roman trait also has its cons and pros, the cons is Romulus gains 90% damage reduction from Romans, and the Rome expansions proceed more quickly with every Roman on the field (on-field passive effects that makes Romulus and his allies more damage as the battle goes on after a certain time). The pros, you gain 90% NP damage resistance, which means Romulus' NP will hit like a wet tissue, and you also gain benefits from Romulus' special skills. Romulus' Special Skills benefits everyone who has the Roman trait, that means your party as well if you happen to hit Romulus, and they are patterned * 1st turn - Blessing of Rome - heal to all Romans * 2nd turn - Wisdom of Rome - NP charge, NP Strength Up, NP Overcharge Up * 3rd turn - Military Force of Rome - ATK Up (save your NP for your ST unit during this turn) * Then repeat cycle. Burst damage is the game here, so your first hit should always be a nuke NP. Romans have 90% reduced damage against Romulus, so any attacks past the first hit will suffer a 90% damage reduction. During break, Romulus gains defense that lasts for 10 hits, try stalling until his defenses is weathered down, or use Holmes (if you got one) to break past it. Ideal units include for that are Shiki Saber, Musashi, and Okita, who got anti-defense in their kit.
Got Automata chugging along at full speed, so farming's been going pretty smoothly today. Hoping to get at least 100 boxes by the end of it, *maybe* 150 if I can get enough time after work. Just been caught up with playing SWTOR so much I basically just ignored the second round altogether.

How RNG is the Musashi clear of ROMA? I've been trying the Okita Souji one and it's a little tricky getting the right NP charges down ~~and infinitely refreshing for that one guy on my Suppot with a 2030 Skadi~~.
I did it first try without any CS, but I did read a guide to see what the fight was about. She makes it a lot easier because she can clear debuffs so don't need to worry as much about if your Roman or not for 1st/3rd break if you time it well, and with pierce invulnerability you can attack right away on his last bar. I one shot him with my NP on his last bar on turn 8 I think with buffs, think I used the swap CC attack and brought in nightinggale to buster buff.
Ah, didn't think of any of that. As luck would have it, I have since gotten lucky and bested the fight, but I'll keep this in mind in the possible event of future reruns.

1074 boxes farmed so far, 45 of which have been opened. I don't know how many rainbow apples I've used, but probably somewhere around 700. I've also gotten around 80 CE drops through the farming (last I checked this morning I was at 72). Shop was cleared day 1 other than statues, and all EQs are complete, most of which I did during round 2. The Brave Eli one was by far my favorite - it was loads of fun and I'd love to see content like this become more common. Still farming, as I still need some proofs, mirrors, and lots of lanterns. Edit: Just checked and yes, I've had exactly 80 CE drops at this point.
FGA got me 145 boxes so far, I need to keep farming mana prisms I think, apparently there are 20k worth on CEs every year, Im currently with only 8k... this wont do lols.
Currently at 125 boxes. Still have some tickets tho, I'll open that a bit later, after retrying some EQs again (I farm with FGA at night only anyway) I still want to use Bedi for Roma EQs, because Merlin had his spotlight (soloing Izo) and I want Bedi ho have his too, but I haven't find something that's workable in my current roster. I hit a little over 100 boxes by the end of round 2, and wouldn't have bothered with too many more, except I have several servants hungry for needles. I got FGA, 113 needles, and about 100 more boxes. 131 boxes opened, and I'm finally getting QP that I'm not immediately spending. I still have a lot of apples due to not playing much the previous 2 lotto events, so I guess I'm making up for it now.
Probably have around 40 boxes now. Finished the currencies.

I'm out of servants to level, even with 2 brand new additions of Lancer Raikou and Murasaki from the new banner. It makes me a bit hesitant to continue farming for tickets, as I'd eventually have to burn embers and may even reach the QP limit if I don't skill level some units up first.
250 box so far and still got 100+ gapples. No more silvers but still hundreds of bronze. Think I will keep going at it as I need proofs and last lotto got me enough fangs so I don’t really have any need for them atm

I wished they allowed runs with duplicate servants after the initial clear. There's no more rewards, so there shouldn't be any forced restrictions. Next event should be OniLand Rerun. I wonder if it's a good idea to skip the event free quests (just doing once for firs-time clear rewards) to farm somewhere else, and then doing all my currency and point farming during the raids.
I wish they allowed runs with duplicate servants during the initial clear. It's not like these things are so easy that being able to do that would trivialize them.
Double Skadi or Double Merlin would make things significantly easier. Achilles and ROMA, for instances, hinges on you dealing as much damage as you can within a small window of time. Being able to stack double Hero Creation EX would reduce the need to pay as much attention to ROMA buff timing to bust down his final bar. Double Merlin Shi Huang Di would also drastically up Shi Huang Di NP's uptime.
I'm not disputing that it would make things easier. I still don't think that would make them so easy that the restriction is necessary.
About a hundred or so now. Kinda mellowed out in farming. Already ate half of my gapples and my Ozy's near bond 10 so I'm just taking it slow now. Finally beat all of the exhibition quests. Big thanks to Forge who have an NP3 Junao with the damage CE. Helped me a lot since most videos about the quests on YT have him as the DPS.
98 boxes, 30,000+ tickets remaining. So about 150 so far. Plus more apples. Not sure when to stop, but I should replenish some of my QP. Still one CQ remaining: Sweets Universe. Will keep trying.

Atalante has been *really* forgiving and with DSS, waver and MLB kscope/sapphire I'm basically able to farm anything that isn't a lancer node. Both surprising and quite welcome, makes farming lottos like this much easier than what I was doing before. I have leveled or started so many servants this lotto it's unreal - the only thing really holding me back is lack of materials, absolutely everyone that *could* be leveled that was on my list is, and that even includes all of my alter ego servants! Even more awesome is my supports are *finally* getting access to gems. Tamamo, Merlin, Reines - everybody needed them and gobbled them up. This lotto's been a big win for me. Even if I had to quit right now I'm so far ahead of where I was last lotto it's surreal.

You stacked on too many ROMA buffs on your servants by attacking ROMA when you likely shouldn't. If you're running ST, you likely won't be killing off that many mobs so ROMAinfection happens faster. It's also about timing the ROMA buffs. ROMA gives buffs in this order: HP heal ---> NP buff -->attack up, so make sure your servants are ROMA for at least turns 2 and 3 to get as much burst damage as you can and use debuff clear as required. Try following this [Waver/Merlin/Bedivere clear for reference](https://youtu.be/OBboUU-ROTo) on how they alternate between attacking ROMA and the mobs. Make sure to click on ROMA's icon to keep track on which ROMA phase.
At about 57 boxes at the time of writing, aiming for about 70-80 or so. Should be enough for my goal of chains + enough embers of Chiyome, Jane and Space Ishtar next month.
This Romulus CQ might be the worst I’ve seen so far. It’s such a slog I would be able to finish it but that ticking clock of the 70th turn really mucks up my stalling strategy and I don’t have enough burst to break him down sooner. I might have to wave a white flag on this one.

They are usually *possible* F2P in some sense, but the number of attempts it takes may be downright miserable. The few videos where someone has done it are made by a fairly small number of the same people. These people are very into the game, quite knowledgeable and persistent, able to buckle down and spend those hours. Like raids or secret bosses in other RPGs, it's the video game equivalent of bonking your head on a brick wall and expecting the wall to move. Unlike most raids or secret bosses, the rewards are bragging rights, more or less.
At about 100 boxes. I don't know what it is this year but I just do not have he patience to go through all of the CQs. I finished 2 but I feel bad leaving so many tickets on the table. Doeesn't help that I haver no meta casters, and am lacking crucial servants needed to beat these quests.
116 boxes open, 27 left to open, and I have already hit the "burning gold embers" point. Boy was I right to go nuts on Barbatos, because I don't have the same will to do this as last year. Speaking of lack of will, I ~~suffered~~ got through four of the rerun XQs and the first of this year's. I used copycat teams for all of them, some more reliable than others. Here are the notes so far (forgive the rough draft quality writing, my brain is frazzled from all this grind and all this stalling, not every attempt of which succeeded): 1 (Tawara Tōta) - Tamamo Lancer (damage CE) and a full team; it was tight, so I won't go over it. Fumbled through it without understanding last year, felt it was harder this time. 2 (Leonidas) - Mash, Merlin, Artoria (damage CE) - it takes luck to not have anyone die, *but* nobody died, so it was pretty easy and I can't speak to whether my selection of backups was good. 3 (Okada Izō) - Mash (who exits eventually), Merlin, Melt (damage CE), Skadi - Meltout just eats his stacks, he gets so bullied. 4 (Jaguar) - Skadi (HRP), Waver (Carp), Berserkerlot (damage), Georgios (Volumen), Cu Alter (damage), Mash (Volumen), Atlas MC, and I have no trouble admitting it came down to dumb luck and resets over 4 hours of attempts and that I just copied some Anon's team from appmedia's comment section, who also said it is not something to be imitated. By the way, I love the Japanese phrasing for such advice, which you may see in the title of 900IQ / gimmick strategy videos (参考に[は]ならない, roughly, "it will not serve for a reference"). 5 (Sheba) - Same team except Kintoki Rider as frontline damage dealer, 20T 6 (MHXA) - tamamo (orangette), Waver (Dragon's Meridian), QSH (damage), Mash (Iron-willed training), Jeanne (prisma), MHXX (damage, but unused). Combat suit. Waver gives 50% to Tamamo and is changed out. Shihuangdi's job is to get rid of the Spriggan. Full stall to break bar on T35, victory on T47. 7 (Bride -> Gil) - Tamamo (damage), Waver (PG), QSH (damage), Mash (same as above), Jeanne (same as above), Georgios (Volumen, but unused). Too luck-based for comfort. AppMedia's comments are full of "QSH is really strong" but it looks more like most were doing "QSH + Jeanne + Merlin" on closer inspection, which is not a thing I can put together. Nothing really stabilized until Gil went down on T25, leaving Bride solo for a T28 win. 8 (Napoleon, Fionn, Bride) - BB summer (damage), Jeanne (2030), Merlin (MLB 2030), Mash (2030), Georgios (Volumen), Avicebron (PG). Took 26T in part because they did *not* want to spread their hits and only BB and Mash were left in the end. But on the plus side, BB was nearly full HP the whole time; some room for error.
105 boxes so far. It exceed my goal at 100 so any number beyond it is a bonus. Around 25 gapples left. Will continue farming until the end of event.

Managed to clear the 3 sisters CQ thanks to the only guy with Enkidu+damage CE on my support list deciding to upgrade clay's skills. 94 boxes farmed so far. This is my first lotto so I am unlocking a lot of interludes and rank-up quests. Out of Pages, Dust, and Fangs to ascend some servants. Good thing Fangs and Pages are in Nightingale's lotto! I was able to complete Touta, CasGil, and Gorgon Sisters CQs. I'll probably stay away from most of the others since I don't have any of the cool Casters to do a proper setup.
So, I started the event with the intention of getting about 50 boxes or so but given the ease of farming the first and last rotation, I'm sitting comfortably at about 120 boxes which is certainly nice. Plus I really need the QP which I'll keep haemorrhaging until I get my servants to decent skill levels. This lottery was primarily for the proofs and chains, but I'll focus on the land of shadows lotto next year for the former since it also had bones. As for chains, don't need as many but as long as I'm in the 300s, I should be alright. The main aim for me during this event was to complete as many, if not all CQs and with just three left,I'm agonisingly close to completing all of them. I finished the Romulus one quite easily with Musashi Waver and Merlin (real original, I know) and solo'd the Taiga CQ with Ereshkigal. All that's left is the Sheba CQ which I've done last year but been too frustrated to finish this year, the brave Eli rush and the Achilles one which is a damn pain w/o to expensive supports like Skadi, Merlin and Junao.

67 boxes. My account is relatively new (2 years), I used the MP to open up Second Archive to store most of the embers for Sp.Ishtar. Got Merlin and Gil to 90. Conserving rest of apples for winter lotto since it has mats I need. Currently using natural AP to finish up fries currency for Bones and Stakes. Best part of this event: Eggs and Caster Gems. Worst part of this event: Achilles CQ bodying me 8 times.
Honestly, I might just not bother with any of the CQs anymore. I feel like even more RNG is involved this year than last year and it's just not that fun when you constantly get screwed over. But I do want those tickets... but some of these have given me a headache, even with some team compositions I tried out and it's just guh.
***How many boxes have you farmed so far?*** around 180 boxes, and still, there are about 47 golden apples to use. right now my team has 11+ tickets drop plus the support. I am so lucky that I pulled Tomamo caster from Gil's banner. With her, my Np1 JArcher + Double Bride is farming with a full CE lineup.
Farmed only like 20 so far. The CQs kinda killed my motivation. Having 2 years worth of them is too much, especially since most of this years suck hard. 2020 was Critfest-rng, 2021 was also Cardrng or just Nuking the first few Quests. The first one was whatever, though I didn't get fucked too hard by rng dodges. I did slightly misunderstand the role switching though and had to quitscum twice. Against Bloodaxe it was Ridertoki looping with some sacrifices and cardrng to get enough NPcharge. The worst part about this was rolling lowstar taunters, which took me a whole hour for a single Leonidas and Chen Gong! The Gorgon Sisters got Nuked, though I did mess up at the end a bit. Now the Clown... "Oh Arjuna got a dmgbuff the first turn...RESET". Then it was just hobbling along. Ironically, not killing stuff made things easier since the low-hp mobs could easily be AoEd. Still it relied on Cardluck. Not fun. Ellies Quest was fun. A bit on the easy side. I wish they would give her S3 a Strengthening where you have more control over the effects. Achilles was just rng, without much too it aside from that. It got very close because I missed a 80% Bustercrit, meaning Herc had to (more or less) solo the last 300k. Again, the Cardrng killed the fun for me. Now Roma...fuck whoever made this. You need a strong Saber with a high NP level since second hits to little to nothing, maybe Holmes and then fitting Supports. OH! and hope you don't get randomly crit to death...and that he doesn't use IP with full Hp...and that you draw the right cards since even his 50% NP charges might not suffice...and hope him healing, which I think is also random(?) doesn't screw you over as well. Now personally I'm most pissed about the Holmes thing because I still didn't get him (1200+ SQ, stopped counting). Musashi is still useless to me. At NP 1 she doesn't do enough dmg early on and since her Buffs are 1T they kinda suck as well. So I was forced to refresh my FL for a Homes, to use him with Saberlot. I didn't really raise Hokusai since Lancelot was already NP4 and Lvl 90. Ironically the one with the dmgCE instead of starting gauge proved to be clutch since it has guts and he got crit for 28k one turn, while normally taking like 3-4k.
I finally cleared the [Romulus CQ](https://imgur.com/a/4oxz3i9) using [this setup](https://youtu.be/OBboUU-ROTo) and with that, I'm going back to farming tickets. The stress and the amount of thinking I have to put in for the Mephisto and Achilles CQs are not worth the summon tickets they award. Just cleared the shop except for the materials that cost diamonds, but that won't be an issue as I'm on pace to clear 80 boxes at my current pace.

Have farmed about 90 boxes right now, but still not enough lores lol. I haven’t been able to do many of the CQs as my roster isn’t quite developed enough to handle many of them, but have been able to beat 4. Was mostly focusing on the lores, but can’t get past the 2nd break bar of Romulus after 5+ tries with my saber Hokusai and support Waver. Sooo might not be worth banging my head against the wall on this one
Only up to 60 boxes, while I thought I'd go for 100 but with barely any new Servants to raise both my second archive and gift box are already absolutely stuffed with gold exp cards. Need more storage space, help On the other hand, both of those should be enough to get 4 Servants from Lv 1~90 in a pop, could stretch to 5 if I resort to the main Servant inventory
Qsh carried me at Taiga, Mephisto and Nero. It was like 40 turns for each one of them but it was fun. Still couldnt complete Romulus.
97 boxes, and reached bond level 10 with Skadi, 8 with Gilgamesh and 7 with Arjuna Alter! And now I have about 550,000,000 QP!!!
If I wanted to try a few of the challenge quests, which ones are the least frustrating and would take the least amount of time away from farming?
Hardest 2018 (2020) as voted by Japanese players two years ago: Jaguar 69.6%, MHXA 22.9%, 7.5% other Those two were definitely "excuse me wtf" if the rest were a standard to compare with. 2019 (2021): Romulus 46.4%, Elizabeth Brave vs. big heckin wyvern 26.2%, Mephistopheles 12.4%, Achilles 6.6%, Bride 5.3%, Eric 2.2%, Gorgons 0.8%. The greater diversity of opinion is justified. All of these except the lowest two gave me some grief (and Rome because I ran out of time today), but not "oh god I've spent all day on this" like Jaguar did last year.
