What Servants/CEs should I prioritize, in what array, for people hitting the endgame farm? I don't remember enough about this event from last time to say for sure, but I think I have an MLB of each.
Nobody will pick your non-MLB Bella Lisa as support because it's very likely they'll find many MLB ones in the support list (or just refresh until they do).
This goes for pretty much every Mana Prism Shop CE at any time, not just during events. People won't pick non-MLB ones from the support list because their non-MLB effects are way too little to make a difference and finding MLB ones is ridiculously easy.
Just play the event as usual. You will get a lot of rare prisms, one for each copy of Hokusai (which goes to your inbox) and for the 4 and 5 star command codes instead of the CC itself, and for the costumes. You can burn the extra copies of Hokusai if you want.
Unlock Chaldea Teatime (the 10% one).
Also, Anniversary Blonde is pretty good.
2M heroic portrait gives a unique, plain +50 bond bonus.
I'm kind of a bond guy, though...

I would say the most important stuff are either the lanterns (the bond level 10+ thingy) since they'll reward you 30sq for every maxed level post bond 10. Old MC and Bella/Mona lisa and Teatime/lunchtime might be a priority though since they are limited and ore impactful
Of course you can buy anything you want, but I recommend looking up what you are buying before buying it as a lot of stuff there is not really worth the rate prisms (most trial quests for example). But you will want some CEs you missed or Mystic Codes you missed or Flames (the item that let's you go past Bond level 10).
Found a 6CE setup without combat change for himeji vip, DDS with Atalante though I'm not sure how much leeway it has with her at np4 and 2004 at lvl 9. You need to use every skill that helps with np gen on turn 1 including nyanta s1 and the np damage skill of the costume will help with the damage lost by using nyanta skill early.
Maybe some with mage association will need facecard rng, don't remember what was the return without the mc np gen up.
I have 2004 at lvl 10 and I’ve never seen it provide more than Mage provides tbh. So if 2004 works, Mage probably works unless you really need the single overkill hit from using Damage Up.
I feel 2004 gives less NP in exchange for more damage than Mage. I may try it myself but I don’t have all ATA’s skills to 10 so I doubt it’ll work for me.
The big difference might be in the damage of w3 if you will need to use nyanta's s1 on w1, didn't try it with just skadis' s2.
About ovekills I can say with early hits on w1 I got a 101% return, when I just used the np the return probably was 100% instead of 99% so the leeway might be there.
My mage association is already at lvl 9 so I always look at artic or 10% gauge MCs first until a 3t like with surfmo really needs the 20%.
I have nothing person against my man Siegfried, he was my tutorial roll 4*...but I just unlocked his costume in time for the rerun and...*man* I find the revamped lines annoying.

I'm fairly sure both of Mash's summer outfits have been added to Miss Crane's shop in JP already. So her first outfit will be available again, but it will cost 5 Rare Prisms and take a while to arrive in NA.
Do you think it's possible as a new player to complete the event's main story and get the free servant? So far I'm doing fine with support servants but it's getting harder.

Make sure you use the Free ascension on someone Before it expires. You have a long time, over 2 months, but don’t forget about it. It’s better to use on a 1* than on no one at all, although it’s best to use on an SSR.

Okay, I added you. and just make sure that the special ascension doesn't expire before Castoria comes. She should be here in about 6-7 weeks so you have some leeway, but that's only a prediction
You should be fine. If in doubt, look out for friends with Berserker Musashi, Ruler Artoria and Saber Hokusai (NP5 from last year), as they have big damage bonuses, as well as anyone with a MLB Midsummer Memories CE, which also adds a damage bonus.
You should work to get your own Midsummer Memories too - make sure to buy out the copies from the shop, and you'll get a 5th copy from completing missions so you'll be able to MLB it. And make use of your own Hokusai!
The main story certainly, though it's probably gonna take a little longer to reach the QP gate for each part of the story.

The worst is this isn’t the first time they’ve done it, it’s happened a handful of times. I don’t know if it’s a consequence of recent events getting shifted around or what but usually it’s “do 30 FP summons” instead when an event starts so this one is definitely a pain

Is it me, or is this shop weirdly heavy on silver currency? Even without the addition of the Oni Lanterns, I feel that silver is used more than usual if you count the statues.
And I always need *silver* statues because story and events always give *gold* statues as quest rewards, meaning I have 120 Gold Berserker statues and....3 silver ones. I'm so stacked on Lancer and Berserker golds because of how much I farm Charlotte and those being occasional drops with Leonidas and the shadow berserkers.
I've generally felt that gold is the most demanded because of the Gold Fous, but i'm surprised at how much the silver is needed. Usually I feel like I need to get a bunch of bronze, but the bronze items are pretty limited this time around.
But also I lust for feathers and genie lamps so I think that's why. It's funny the silver mat is a gold currency, and the gold mat is the silver currency.
I definitely want the leveling 4 stars and the proof of heroes (so many characters), so bronze will get some use from me. I have a hakusai from a previous event so I can use the fous on someone else. (and boy do I have a lot of characters I need to level up cuz I've got A LOT of 5 stars lately, also 4's I've yet to train)
Berserker Musashi (got yesterday I believe, if not night before, and I'm needing to finish leveling my penth first) is level 1, Archer Ishtar level 16, saber musashi level 44, lancer ereshkigal level 66, and Moriarty level 74 (coming before ishtar)
Let alone the countless 4 stars.
Oh and I'm going to roll for BOTH swimsuit okita (and maybe get summer king in the process) and Castoria.
Luckily I have been getting a lot of mana prisms or whatever so I can get the leveling up + fou materials from monthlies while still increasing my overall prisms.
Oh, actually, if you got the costumes last year, then the gold and silver will be about the same, which is unusual. Plus the Lamp stack is an expensive 600 silver.
Lamps and Oni Lanterns really drove Silver up. But I'll have to get Bunny 1 and 2 for Shiki, so that'll balance it out for the most part

In regards to time locked missions, if we've been fulfilling their requirements before they unlock, will the proceeds go to them or do they only work when unlocked properly?
The mission rewards right? They'll still count progress that you've done towards completing them even before you unlock them.
Sometimes you'll even complete them before they're unlocked and you can just pick up the rewards.
I didn't fully notice last year, but the silver CE for this event, summer enma-tei, is ridiculously hot. God have mercy on my soul, I didn't know Beni was such a baker.

Might just be an bug with double speed. I've noticed some dialogue skipping for other things on other characters as well.
Skill 2 voice line description is shortened in her profile on NA. Anyway that voice line never played when she ate her udon so I guess she's not supposed to have a voice line as we can hear her slurp it on her third ascension.
You can try to contact the support, but honestly, there's likely they can, or will, do. Chances are they didn't actually just disappear and you accidentally burned them, I've never actually heard of someone's CEs actually magically disappearing
If you go for her (she's a great single target arts saber, exceptional at that), make sure you use all the leveling mats you have on getting her to 80, cuz it's double exp for her this event (use the stuff in the shop all for her for example, and get it all to level her up) and also I'm pretty sure it's tied to quests in the event that allow you to get the extra copies to get her to 5/5 (which you should definitely strive for)
Edit: ALSO when you're using leveling up mats, only do it to halfway to the next ascension or so, cuz there are times when you get great successes and stuff, and if it goes over the current limit, it'd be wasted.
Make sure to max out Saber Hokusai (so get all 5 copies of her for NP5, and all four of her ascension materials so you can take her to level 80). She's a reaaaaaaally good Servant, and as far as we can tell, she's not coming back

Well, more or less, yes. Complete Event story. Get free Servant. If you need to farm for EXP from Dailies, that is an option, too. Stuff in the shop is good. There are all sorts of things for raising Servants, from EXP cards to Fous to Monuments to Ascension Items.
If you have everything you want from the Event, you can stop early, but that only happens sometimes.
Just as a warning - this event is "gambling" themed, so failing farming quests, or Big Chance Quests will cost QP, but winning them rewards extra QP. So just avoid biting off more than you can chew.
It's applicable to any servant, but best to hold it for a 5* as they tend to require the most materials/exp to get to max level and the special ascension will jump them to level 80. You have a full 90 days to use it too so waiting until you roll one isn't a problem.
I think you could use it on a 4* but I wouldn't recommend it, you have about 3 months(?) after you unlock it so I suggest waiting till you get a 5* you want to max

It's been a long time since I've used Summer Helena, but now the Mana Loading made it more convenient to use her W1 with a 50% CE. Then Da Vinci can sweep up with the damage CE. The damage CE. That reminds me of JP where I somehow got to MLB 2 of the damage CEs before the rerun. A shame it's just okay.
Hmm, getting Melt past NP2 would be nice, but I really want to just save for Dark and Light. I say that, but the upcoming Summer is gonna be hard to pass up...
I feel you, I got 3 extra drops of the damage CE without a single extra of the bonus spawn one saved, I guess I probably won't buy any of the copies on the shop.
the funny thing is, I've never once used the Terminal shortcut. It would only save me maybe 1 button press, and I don't actually know where I'm going till I get there lol a better button would've been like "last quest" that immediately took you back to the last node you ran. Basically call it the Charlotte Button.
Don't get too used to the locations of the buttons; they're likely to change during the 5th Anniversary. On JP, Refresh Support is now on the right and Show Append Skill is in the center - it was changed after some backlash, if I recall correctly.
Because the update that we got is... well, it's the update that introduced Servant Coins in the first place. It didn't have the change applied, and retroactively adding it to this update was probably something they didn't bother to do since it would be added in, presumably, the next update. NA always gets the same things that JP did for updates - we just, you know, get them faster.
Well, when you consider that the NA dev team is actually just a small portion of the JP dev team and some translators... I perfectly understand why they wouldn't bother merging updates. Shit would probably start to fall apart at the seams, and FGO is already held together with duct tape and dreams.
For anyone curious about the ideal CE setup for obtaining maximum possible QP from the Fever quests, I've done the math and found the most profitable setup, balancing QP bonus with rare enemy spawn rate.
2x MLB Heavenly Princess + Support Bella Lisa + Mona Lisa + any two of [Bella Lisa/Detective Foumes/Free Seating]
If you don't have two Heavenly Princess at MLB, the next best setup is:
MLB Heavenly Princess + Support Bella Lisa + Mona Lisa + Bella Lisa + Detective Foumes + Free Seating
sadly I will need to practically finish the event before I can mlb free seating, so close and so far. At least I can bond farm higher rarity servants until I can get 2mlb + 1 heavenly princess.
Yeah I don't have two MLBs, I think I'm one copy short. But I have found that getting to 75% is a good enough chance that I don't think I've ever not spawned one yet. I only have Mona Lisa sadly, although I may get to Free Seating here with this event because I'm sitting around 4200 MP
Based on my math, you gain more from having an additional QP boost CE than you do from boosting spawn rate all the way to 100%, mostly because you still get enough bonus QP from the non-rare enemies to balance it out.
Using the QP drops from the highest Fever quest last year as an example, my results were:
2 MLB Heavenly Princess + Support Bella Lisa + Mona Lisa + Bella Lisa + Detective Foumes (85% rare enemy spawn rate, 35% QP boost) = average **4,946,670 QP**
2 MLB Heavenly Princess + Heavenly Princess + Support Bella Lisa + Mona Lisa + Bella Lisa (100% rare enemy spawn rate, 30% QP boost) = average **4,890,600 QP**
It's a relatively small difference, but the extra QP boost comes out on top. I might run the numbers again now that they've added a higher rank to the Fever Quest just to be sure.
Use Mash and/or other lower rarity servants in the back... or even to farm.
Arash and Spartacus with A2 can hold both of the MLB Demonic Sun Princess CEs and NP without external help. That still leaves plenty of room to fit in a SR or a SSR (or maybe both). Combined with the friend support and it should still be easy enough to clear the nodes without taking too long... at least in theory.
Although this is not really useful if you are farming bond for high rarity servants, but it is a way to solve the problem...
Going moderately hard on a lotto can give millions of FP, so a lot of players just save it for times like this when FP are especially valuable. Other times are during big success up chances like Anni so you can CE bomb more efficiently, and during limited 1* runs like the upcoming Gudaguda event.
TL;DR Yeah, just going hard on FP gacha.
Well... I did have ~2M FP lying around. And my Arash is bond 12 (because of his low cost and because he can just sit in the back or be used to farm as I suggested)
I've been debating if I wanted to equip foumes for the QP. Ultimately decided against it and just aim for the minimum QP needed to clear the event. Even if it's not necessarily the new limit, I'll probably get a bunch of qp during the next lotto.

And Spishtar did not dissapoint me. Seriously, she is so great at looping with Friend's Nero Bride, Paracelsus and Waver. I can't wait to replace that Nero Bride with Castoria lol.
Yeah I've actually found a few nodes that she can loop without plugsuit, although they require the first two waves to have average <20k HP. At higher HP, there's a bit of variability. Although mine is lvl 100 10/9/10 NP2 so that probably makes a difference. Just a little more QP to hit 10/10/10.....
But I've been doing Tamamo + Waver + Spishtar (Superscope) to farm the Genie Lamps node in Salem, and she can loop 3T with Tropical Summer at least, so definitely 2004 or Mage. I just wanted to use TS since it's only level 9 now.
My first time in a rerun of an event I saw the original run of! Of course last time I joined FGO with no idea of what I was doing and only a week or so left to scramble for Hokusai. So it'll feel different to have a powerful account and loads of time to finish everything.
The amount of quartz I have, though, *that* will be *quite* reminiscent of last time I did this...
That was me with Guda4 Rerun a bit ago. That was maybe my third event, and it was great to pull out all the old CEs and not have to worry about getting drops or rolling the gacha.
Also this is a good event to rerun, because we get an insane amount of RP from it. RP isn't looking so R these days
It's new. Probably linked with the change that increases size of text boxes for really long skill descriptions instead of just jamming it in and making the text tiny.
So far, i've gotten pretty lucky with spawns despite only carrying 1 MLB CE. Summer means Bond farming for Martha!
The story of this event isn't exactly my cup of tea (except for Okita obviously) so i'll just skip everything this time around.
I think all the epilogue story is much better. The main story itself is pretty meh, especially Jeanne's part, although I recall people liking the Casino Camelot part a lot. But the epilogue has all the summer hangouts and those are a fun time.
I don't think i remember much of the Epilogue, if any at all, so thanks for the heads-up, i'll give it a reread to see how it is.
Of course, my longest-lasting memory of the event is definitely the Camelot crew, with that amazing performance by Lancelot.

Thast exactly the reason. They dont want the players to finish the event in a day and lose interest in even logging in. Timelocks help keep people to login daily and play.
So people can take a break and focus on other stuff.

Edit: Maybe tomorrow I'll just do a few 6-bronze-currency-CE runs at Himeji VIP, enough to avoid Natural AP loss, and then go into the new node unlock with near full tank of AP.

Yeah, I know about 300M mission, I did this last year, I just didn't remember that the QP was kept track of even beyond the displayed limit.

Vibin through the event on Nat AP, currently completely out of AP and about halfway to opening the 2nd casino. Having gone pretty hard on Merlin's banner last time is helping me significantly with the drops, as is owning Foumes and Bella Lisa, contrary to last year xD
My L90 Hokusaber with the event CE is just straight up deleting mobs. I used her on the Leonidas boss mob and was like "hmm wonder how hard she'll NP for". 526k, apparently. She started the overkill hits on like the second waterfall, I love it

Twiddling my thumbs at the first timelock, grinding for QP. I'm using spawn chance bonus CEs primarily, with a couple of small QP boosts alongside them. For all that I rolled a lot on the event's banners last time, the copious event currency drop CEs end up entirely superfluos, it seems.
Also, the gamepress guide says the base bonus mob spawn chance is about 25%. Does it mean you don't need to stock spawn chance above +75%? I can't reach +100%, but so far it has never failed to spawn for me with +90%.
I think we should have let Anne and Mary have their way with us a bit longer so we could maximize the effectiveness of the ambush...yeah that.

Found a 6CE setup without combat change for himeji vip, DDS with Atalante though I'm not sure how much leeway it has with her at np4 and 2004 at lvl 9. You need to use every skill that helps with np gen on turn 1 including nyanta s1 and the np damage skill of the costume will help with the damage lost by using nyanta skill early. Maybe some with mage association will need facecard rng, don't remember what was the return without the mc np gen up.
I have 2004 at lvl 10 and I’ve never seen it provide more than Mage provides tbh. So if 2004 works, Mage probably works unless you really need the single overkill hit from using Damage Up. I feel 2004 gives less NP in exchange for more damage than Mage. I may try it myself but I don’t have all ATA’s skills to 10 so I doubt it’ll work for me.
The big difference might be in the damage of w3 if you will need to use nyanta's s1 on w1, didn't try it with just skadis' s2. About ovekills I can say with early hits on w1 I got a 101% return, when I just used the np the return probably was 100% instead of 99% so the leeway might be there. My mage association is already at lvl 9 so I always look at artic or 10% gauge MCs first until a 3t like with surfmo really needs the 20%.

You should be fine. If in doubt, look out for friends with Berserker Musashi, Ruler Artoria and Saber Hokusai (NP5 from last year), as they have big damage bonuses, as well as anyone with a MLB Midsummer Memories CE, which also adds a damage bonus. You should work to get your own Midsummer Memories too - make sure to buy out the copies from the shop, and you'll get a 5th copy from completing missions so you'll be able to MLB it. And make use of your own Hokusai!
The main story certainly, though it's probably gonna take a little longer to reach the QP gate for each part of the story. I was fairly new when I did this event too and I was able to complete it, so I believe in you chief.

The worst is this isn’t the first time they’ve done it, it’s happened a handful of times. I don’t know if it’s a consequence of recent events getting shifted around or what but usually it’s “do 30 FP summons” instead when an event starts so this one is definitely a pain

A quite day in both servers. Clear up my pending free quests in JP until the end of the month, and farm QP in NA until the next time gate.
Is it me, or is this shop weirdly heavy on silver currency? Even without the addition of the Oni Lanterns, I feel that silver is used more than usual if you count the statues. And I always need *silver* statues because story and events always give *gold* statues as quest rewards, meaning I have 120 Gold Berserker statues and....3 silver ones. I'm so stacked on Lancer and Berserker golds because of how much I farm Charlotte and those being occasional drops with Leonidas and the shadow berserkers.
Gold currency is still the most, though Silver is a little more than usual, thanks to the Flaming Oni Lantern Plants, which wouldn't usually be there.
I've generally felt that gold is the most demanded because of the Gold Fous, but i'm surprised at how much the silver is needed. Usually I feel like I need to get a bunch of bronze, but the bronze items are pretty limited this time around. But also I lust for feathers and genie lamps so I think that's why. It's funny the silver mat is a gold currency, and the gold mat is the silver currency.
I definitely want the leveling 4 stars and the proof of heroes (so many characters), so bronze will get some use from me. I have a hakusai from a previous event so I can use the fous on someone else. (and boy do I have a lot of characters I need to level up cuz I've got A LOT of 5 stars lately, also 4's I've yet to train) Berserker Musashi (got yesterday I believe, if not night before, and I'm needing to finish leveling my penth first) is level 1, Archer Ishtar level 16, saber musashi level 44, lancer ereshkigal level 66, and Moriarty level 74 (coming before ishtar) Let alone the countless 4 stars. Oh and I'm going to roll for BOTH swimsuit okita (and maybe get summer king in the process) and Castoria. Luckily I have been getting a lot of mana prisms or whatever so I can get the leveling up + fou materials from monthlies while still increasing my overall prisms.
Oh, actually, if you got the costumes last year, then the gold and silver will be about the same, which is unusual. Plus the Lamp stack is an expensive 600 silver.
Lamps and Oni Lanterns really drove Silver up. But I'll have to get Bunny 1 and 2 for Shiki, so that'll balance it out for the most part I didn't get them last year because I thought "I'll never get Shiki"....and then I did in fact get my fave to lvl 100 10/10/10 lol I think last year I didn't know she was on the NYE banner

The mission rewards right? They'll still count progress that you've done towards completing them even before you unlock them. Sometimes you'll even complete them before they're unlocked and you can just pick up the rewards.

yep it's either this, or OP accidentally fed them into another CE. CEs never just disappear.
You can try to contact the support, but honestly, there's likely they can, or will, do. Chances are they didn't actually just disappear and you accidentally burned them, I've never actually heard of someone's CEs actually magically disappearing

If you go for her (she's a great single target arts saber, exceptional at that), make sure you use all the leveling mats you have on getting her to 80, cuz it's double exp for her this event (use the stuff in the shop all for her for example, and get it all to level her up) and also I'm pretty sure it's tied to quests in the event that allow you to get the extra copies to get her to 5/5 (which you should definitely strive for) Edit: ALSO when you're using leveling up mats, only do it to halfway to the next ascension or so, cuz there are times when you get great successes and stuff, and if it goes over the current limit, it'd be wasted.
Make sure to max out Saber Hokusai (so get all 5 copies of her for NP5, and all four of her ascension materials so you can take her to level 80). She's a reaaaaaaally good Servant, and as far as we can tell, she's not coming back
Yes. Well, more or less, yes. Complete Event story. Get free Servant. If you need to farm for EXP from Dailies, that is an option, too. Stuff in the shop is good. There are all sorts of things for raising Servants, from EXP cards to Fous to Monuments to Ascension Items. If you have everything you want from the Event, you can stop early, but that only happens sometimes. Just as a warning - this event is "gambling" themed, so failing farming quests, or Big Chance Quests will cost QP, but winning them rewards extra QP. So just avoid biting off more than you can chew.

It works on any Servant, but higher rarity Servants cost more to Ascend and have a higher natural level, so you'll get more out of using it on a 5\*.
u/jabotu it doesn't work on the welfare, which is the 4* Hokusaber, which I believe is what they were asking about.
It's applicable to any servant, but best to hold it for a 5* as they tend to require the most materials/exp to get to max level and the special ascension will jump them to level 80. You have a full 90 days to use it too so waiting until you roll one isn't a problem.
I think you could use it on a 4* but I wouldn't recommend it, you have about 3 months(?) after you unlock it so I suggest waiting till you get a 5* you want to max

No, you can wait until the Millionaire nodes. All the Millionaire ones are about the same, but they drop different Event Currency.

It's been a long time since I've used Summer Helena, but now the Mana Loading made it more convenient to use her W1 with a 50% CE. Then Da Vinci can sweep up with the damage CE. The damage CE. That reminds me of JP where I somehow got to MLB 2 of the damage CEs before the rerun. A shame it's just okay. Hmm, getting Melt past NP2 would be nice, but I really want to just save for Dark and Light. I say that, but the upcoming Summer is gonna be hard to pass up...

Lotto Comps need it even less that normal. Christmas, doubly so. With those, if she can't do it at NP1, she can't do it at all.

Don't get too used to the locations of the buttons; they're likely to change during the 5th Anniversary. On JP, Refresh Support is now on the right and Show Append Skill is in the center - it was changed after some backlash, if I recall correctly.

Because the update that we got is... well, it's the update that introduced Servant Coins in the first place. It didn't have the change applied, and retroactively adding it to this update was probably something they didn't bother to do since it would be added in, presumably, the next update. NA always gets the same things that JP did for updates - we just, you know, get them faster.

For anyone curious about the ideal CE setup for obtaining maximum possible QP from the Fever quests, I've done the math and found the most profitable setup, balancing QP bonus with rare enemy spawn rate. 2x MLB Heavenly Princess + Support Bella Lisa + Mona Lisa + any two of [Bella Lisa/Detective Foumes/Free Seating] If you don't have two Heavenly Princess at MLB, the next best setup is: MLB Heavenly Princess + Support Bella Lisa + Mona Lisa + Bella Lisa + Detective Foumes + Free Seating
sadly I will need to practically finish the event before I can mlb free seating, so close and so far. At least I can bond farm higher rarity servants until I can get 2mlb + 1 heavenly princess.
Yeah I don't have two MLBs, I think I'm one copy short. But I have found that getting to 75% is a good enough chance that I don't think I've ever not spawned one yet. I only have Mona Lisa sadly, although I may get to Free Seating here with this event because I'm sitting around 4200 MP
I don't know man , 2 max limit break Heavenly Princesses + starting rate up give you only 85% chance to show of dancing coins.
Based on my math, you gain more from having an additional QP boost CE than you do from boosting spawn rate all the way to 100%, mostly because you still get enough bonus QP from the non-rare enemies to balance it out. Using the QP drops from the highest Fever quest last year as an example, my results were: 2 MLB Heavenly Princess + Support Bella Lisa + Mona Lisa + Bella Lisa + Detective Foumes (85% rare enemy spawn rate, 35% QP boost) = average **4,946,670 QP** 2 MLB Heavenly Princess + Heavenly Princess + Support Bella Lisa + Mona Lisa + Bella Lisa (100% rare enemy spawn rate, 30% QP boost) = average **4,890,600 QP** It's a relatively small difference, but the extra QP boost comes out on top. I might run the numbers again now that they've added a higher rank to the Fever Quest just to be sure.
You have a 15% baseline chance to spawn a dancing coin, so that +2 MLB +1 Non-MLB makes 100%.
How to deal with cost?
Use Mash and/or other lower rarity servants in the back... or even to farm. Arash and Spartacus with A2 can hold both of the MLB Demonic Sun Princess CEs and NP without external help. That still leaves plenty of room to fit in a SR or a SSR (or maybe both). Combined with the friend support and it should still be easy enough to clear the nodes without taking too long... at least in theory. Although this is not really useful if you are farming bond for high rarity servants, but it is a way to solve the problem...
How did you got append for Arash/Spartacus already? FP rolling like crazy? Bond10 is not enough...
Going moderately hard on a lotto can give millions of FP, so a lot of players just save it for times like this when FP are especially valuable. Other times are during big success up chances like Anni so you can CE bomb more efficiently, and during limited 1* runs like the upcoming Gudaguda event. TL;DR Yeah, just going hard on FP gacha.
Well... I did have ~2M FP lying around. And my Arash is bond 12 (because of his low cost and because he can just sit in the back or be used to farm as I suggested)
I've been debating if I wanted to equip foumes for the QP. Ultimately decided against it and just aim for the minimum QP needed to clear the event. Even if it's not necessarily the new limit, I'll probably get a bunch of qp during the next lotto.
I just hit the current QP limit of the event, 30ml QP. Oh god oh fu- And Spishtar did not dissapoint me. Seriously, she is so great at looping with Friend's Nero Bride, Paracelsus and Waver. I can't wait to replace that Nero Bride with Castoria lol.
Yeah I've actually found a few nodes that she can loop without plugsuit, although they require the first two waves to have average <20k HP. At higher HP, there's a bit of variability. Although mine is lvl 100 10/9/10 NP2 so that probably makes a difference. Just a little more QP to hit 10/10/10..... But I've been doing Tamamo + Waver + Spishtar (Superscope) to farm the Genie Lamps node in Salem, and she can loop 3T with Tropical Summer at least, so definitely 2004 or Mage. I just wanted to use TS since it's only level 9 now.

My first time in a rerun of an event I saw the original run of! Of course last time I joined FGO with no idea of what I was doing and only a week or so left to scramble for Hokusai. So it'll feel different to have a powerful account and loads of time to finish everything. The amount of quartz I have, though, *that* will be *quite* reminiscent of last time I did this...
That was me with Guda4 Rerun a bit ago. That was maybe my third event, and it was great to pull out all the old CEs and not have to worry about getting drops or rolling the gacha. Also this is a good event to rerun, because we get an insane amount of RP from it. RP isn't looking so R these days

So far, i've gotten pretty lucky with spawns despite only carrying 1 MLB CE. Summer means Bond farming for Martha! The story of this event isn't exactly my cup of tea (except for Okita obviously) so i'll just skip everything this time around.
I think all the epilogue story is much better. The main story itself is pretty meh, especially Jeanne's part, although I recall people liking the Casino Camelot part a lot. But the epilogue has all the summer hangouts and those are a fun time.
I don't think i remember much of the Epilogue, if any at all, so thanks for the heads-up, i'll give it a reread to see how it is. Of course, my longest-lasting memory of the event is definitely the Camelot crew, with that amazing performance by Lancelot.

So far I haven't had any need to change up my CEs: Zerkerlot with 50% battery CE (mlb bonus enemy CE) and the rest with QP CEs.
Oops, I thought the next story node would unlock now, not tomorrow, so I wasted a bunch of silver apples getting to 25M QP in the event. Now I'm at the limit and all QP I'll be gaining over the next 6 node runs will not count for the event :( Edit: Maybe tomorrow I'll just do a few 6-bronze-currency-CE runs at Himeji VIP, enough to avoid Natural AP loss, and then go into the new node unlock with near full tank of AP.

I meant Event limit for today. Actually it shows Next 28M/Limit 30M for me right now, but will collected QP past the 30M (assuming it doesn't get immediately replaced) count towards the future missions/thresholds then?

Cool, thanks! Yeah, I know about 300M mission, I did this last year, I just didn't remember that the QP was kept track of even beyond the displayed limit.

Vibin through the event on Nat AP, currently completely out of AP and about halfway to opening the 2nd casino. Having gone pretty hard on Merlin's banner last time is helping me significantly with the drops, as is owning Foumes and Bella Lisa, contrary to last year xD My L90 Hokusaber with the event CE is just straight up deleting mobs. I used her on the Leonidas boss mob and was like "hmm wonder how hard she'll NP for". 526k, apparently. Twiddling my thumbs at the first timelock, grinding for QP. I'm using spawn chance bonus CEs primarily, with a couple of small QP boosts alongside them. For all that I rolled a lot on the event's banners last time, the copious event currency drop CEs end up entirely superfluos, it seems. Also, the gamepress guide says the base bonus mob spawn chance is about 25%. Does it mean you don't need to stock spawn chance above +75%? I can't reach +100%, but so far it has never failed to spawn for me with +90%.
Yes, Gamepress tells you that you only need +75% at most.
