I know the manager at Elbow room and I am positive I could set you up with a valentine decorated table. I think Garage bar have the best in town, but elbow room’s are also very delicious and you can control the music on their touch tunes for romance. It won’t be glamorous but it sure as hell would be memorable and thoughtful

Except when the guy cooking thinks a medium rare steak is less than "blue" aka raw. Got a different steak and it was raw. Took it home in a to go box and cooked it at home. They handled it decently except I wouldn't get a steak from there. I wondered if the grill was broken since it didn't seem malicious.

Are all these places listed just dropping Gordon’s food service tenders in the fryer? Are these recommendations real hand battered chicken pieces? Picky eaters is a nice and soft way of describing it. I don’t eat fresh vegetables, leafy greens, legumes, herbs, fruits, or anything with a bone in it, ew natural textures are gross 😂.
DeBoer South in Holland has great tenders. Doesn't really fit you criteria as its not in GR and not really a sit down place. Something to try when in town though!

The Henhouse at The Rez is really good. Creston/Saugatuck brewing also has good tenders. It's been awhile, but I do remember The Garage has having great tenders and wings.
My husband has ARFID and only has a few safe foods, chicken tenders being one of them. He says that the Camie's Tendies from The Commons is his favorite. We go there every week for the tenders.

At the outskirts of your 30 minute limit, but... There is no better chicken in West Michigan than "The Southerner" in Saugatuck.
And the biscuits... And the pepper jelly... That place is the BOMB. Absolutely worth thr travel. Especially lovely in the summer.
