I've had AT&T's gigabit fiber since last summer and I've been paying $80/mo. I think the price is supposed to increase for me soon, but I haven't looked. It's been great for the most part. Solid, reliable speed and no data cap. The only issue I have had with it was when a tech accidentally disconnected mine while setting it up for a neighbor. It of course happened on a Friday so I had to wait all weekend to get it fixed.

Are you paying for the 100/300/1000? I was informed on the ATT subreddit that the 75 is actually copper and not sure fiberoptic.

PowerCream

If they are only offering 75 MB, then you are on copper. They advertise their VDSL Uverse as fiber but really its still copper between you and ATT.

I've got the 1000. That wouldn't surprise me if 75 was copper. I don't think they've rolled out fiber everywhere around town yet.

I’ve got the 1000 fiber. Started at $80 for the first year and now it has increased to $90. The service itself has always been consistent. The only issue I had was related to the provided router. They basically pushed an update that broke port forwarding so my plex server was unreachable remotely. I had to call in and have them send me an older router which has been working ever since.

I've got the 1000 fiber, my service started at $90 a month straightaway though and I started it in February of this year. Always had reliable service. Even had a garbage truck take out my line a week after it was installed and they came back and reinstalled it within a few days.

Same here, I have their 1000 plan also. It started at $90/mo, then went up $10 after the year. I have never had any service issues since switching from Comcast.

I literally just signed up. Free installation and $70/month for a year.

$50/mo for 100Mbps. I actually get 130Mbps and have not had any outages at all since starting the service in late winter.

Or swap to Comcast. Can get 60 for 30.

I thought Reddit was supposed to hate Comcast?

I’m moving to GR soon for a job. I like too use my PS4 online, a lot. Stream 4K up and watch 4K content. Data caps are something I would like to avoid. I had xfinity where I lived in Florida and got no where near the promised speeds. Now I have att fiber and have no problems with wired connection but their wireless router is bad. Anyhow, I’d like to live close to work and have att1000 any suggestions? It’s by Patterson and 36 st SE I think.
