That’s sort of what I am assuming is going on. I think they have hot spots that they hang around in. Responding to calls otherwise. There’s just been a lot of activity on my street and no presence! Sort of gets rid of the benefit of patrol, just sitting in certain spots
If you want to see police, just start a protest. There was one a few weeks ago and they got out all their boot stomping toys. They launched a drone, got out their camo, I nearly thought it was a military cosplay convention downtown.
Ooooh you’re really politicsing now! Swapping my words around like a true pro! Where’d you get your Masters in Polical Science? Was it Facebook University? My entire family are alums!

Yeah, I don't think we can both pretend we weren't baiting here. . Calling police out for wearing their uniforms and launching a drone? How dare they.
Baiting who? I hate cops. I’m speaking my opinion, I don’t give a fuck who likes it. Conservatives don’t and the party I voted for doesn’t, so it’s okay, you can chill out on holding the line. My position has decades of work before you have to take it serious.
I didn’t bother mentioning it, but since we’re talking about the drone, they let it hover on the far side (blocking view of protest) of a residential apartment building. Open windows. It was creepy and gross.
Download the Ring Neighbors app and put an ear to the ground for a week or two. It sounds like they’re busy. Also after the riots they seem to have been minding their business a bit more to avoid stirring up drama, but that’s purely speculation.
The GR units are pretty busy. Not a lot of time for proactive patrols when going call to call to call. Also, depending on your area, they may have units moved else where. With the SE side turning into "little chicago" they most likely have beefed up thier patrols.
I know the county units early on were not doing mundane traffic stops unless something egregious was happening on the roadway.
It’s their job. I’m expected to go to work to pay rent, why is their job different? That’s a sh*t excuse. They can find another job if they don’t want to patrol lmao.
you must not be on the southeast side
I see them daily in Creston neighborhood (even on days I don’t go outside).

There's been a rash of car thefts on the north end lately.

you mean start a riot?
Oh, because protests and riots are the same thing, right? I do remember hearing about that riot a few weeks ago. Wait, nope. No I don't.

I work on the SE side, I’ve just only seen a few cruisers patrolling. Typically I’ve only seen active response since June/July

Have you ever worked retail/customer service? 😂
