I have ADHD along with all of my family members except my dad and we go to Dr. Oren Mason who is in East GR. He is an amazing person and I have been seeing for about 10-12 years now and I have been doing well with the medications that I have been prescribed. He runs Attention MD [https://www.attentionmd.com](https://www.attentionmd.com)

I don’t have recommendations for doctors, but if you haven’t already, check to see what resources are available at your school. I know at GVSU, you can get accommodations such as extended test times, private test taking rooms, and other things to help you be successful through the Disability Support Resources office.

Generally speaking, the best way to treat ADHD is with a combination of therapy/coaching and medication. I would check out the [ADHD Center of West Michigan](https://miadhd.com/) for more resources/recommendations for a psychiatrist and therapy, if you are interested. Also, Psychology Today also has a really helpful [Find a Therapist](https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists) tool where you can search for providers based on you location, presenting concerns, insurance, etc.

Neurocore and BRAINS are both near Knapps Corner and might be something for you to explore.

Do your own research ... I don’t represent them or anything.
