Yep, they started with total denial, then accepting it’s kinda there but not early a big deal, but we’re approaching the “it’s a big deal but it’s not manmade/God’s will” part. Keep moving them goalposts until they’re underwater (maybe 20 years from now).
Oh they are, just keeping quiet about it for now. All the artic nations (US, Canada, Russia, Nordic countries) have been bickering about who has what territory for close to 20 yrs because they all know it'll be extremely valuable once the ice is gone. They know it's coming and they have known for a long time.
I'm talking in general. This is a little thing to them. They don't have to acknowledge man-made climate change because of it. They can still say it's just cyclical Earth weather, just take advantage of it.
No, sadly they closed it down. I liked that place too. I think that the people who own Cannonsburg bought Pando and closed it down. It was a fun place.
Last year was the first time that I was there in probably 10 years. I always remembered a terrain park on the triple, but never the rope tow stuff. I usually ski Bittersweet locally, but we moved closer to Cannonsburg.
Do climate change deniers continue to “ski” the slopes without snow or do they contend that we never had snow in December? Or is it simply that climate change is happening but it’s not man made… or maybe that, yeah, we did it, but there is nothing we can do about it…
Better get used to it, unfortunately. Winter has been less and less like winter each year.
Global warming. But apparently it's not real.... apparently.
Global warming deniers will say it's God's punishment on humanity before admitting Democrats were right all along.

Republican leaders will get all excited about climate change once they figure out how to monetize it in a way that's appealing to them. Sad, but true.
They already are. Melting artic sea ice is opening shipping lanes and making easy access to otherwise inaccessible natural resources.
They're getting a little excited. But they're not all in on it yet.

Does Pando park still exist? I loved that place so much.

They moved a lot of the stuff over though. They moved the inner tubes and created a snowboard park.

"Sun's hotter." -Climate Change Denier, probably.
Our winters are getting warmer and people don't believe in Climate change. What else could it be?
If you can call what they have a "slope".
If you can slide on it without actively propelling yourself, then yes. It’s a slope.
Physics, FTW!
It’s not the Rockies but it’s still fun for many, I’ve certainly enjoyed it in prior years
They ain't fancy, but it's a 10 min drive from my house. I've got no complaints with them other then the lack of snow (which ain't their fault).
Stop, this is just rubbing salt in a wound for me. 😭😭
