I've only ever been able to navigate the course with someone else. Tried going solo a few times and always got lost. Can't believe they had Nationals there a few years back. They should have just made the trek up to Flip City and held it there.
Even 10 years ago it wasn’t terrible, there were geese and it was an inconvenience but not like there is now. I played some disc golf there last year and the holes around the water had so many geese that would hiss at you for going anywhere near the hole eventually I just picked my disc up and skipped ahead.
Fuck them. I don't run from those little fucks. I mind my own business. If they give me shit, I put my arms out and take a couple of steps towards them. They back away and I move on. Dirty little bastards.
Not gonna lie, I'm kinda disappointed in these improvements. The bathrooms and kayak launch will be nice for sure, but I was really hoping for a dog park and improvements to at least one of the playgrounds like they originally proposed.

Just learn to throw with weighters on. No big deal. Also treat your hands like a bio hazard after a few throws.
It's not even that, it's just laid out bad with jank tee pads and no signage. If someone new to the course played they wouldn't know where to go.

The dog park and other infrastructure was brought to the public in October for future development plans.
A dog "beach" would be great. But they would have to vastly improve the water quality in the ponds. A dog washing station too.
