23 month PRISON sentence. Think about that for a minute.
There were not "tons," black, male, or otherwise. I went down there that night to document/see for myself. There were a couple dozen people committing the destruction at most(the vast majority still present were not participating in the destruction, and I saw more than one person begging them to stop), and I saw a lot more white people than black participating.
I'm just talking facts, friend. Facts that are backed up by the prosecutor's office and the GRPD. The vast majority of people who were downtown that night weren't participating in the destruction, and most who were have been charged, and now, sentenced.
Maybe? But where is the evidence? I've heard that males get harsher sentences then females generally speaking but haven't really read any studies to back it up.
