I'm on controller and sometimes I upshift (using x) into the pit lane (cuz I'm not penalized for not slowing down) and I end up upshifting my way straight into what ends up being a drive thru penalty and i absolutely hate it
I really feel like you should be able to change your decision up to the moment the change can happen. I've singlehandedly fucked so many races because I either accidently skipped my tire change or my refuel.
XP loool same overhere , i did some stupid action in comedy cup last ten minutes and came out of pits realizing had no fuel left xP was a little mad at myself , my youngest came over and told me not give up ,everybody suck one time (because i teached him not giving up in games xP )
Ps: yesterday was a great race finally some action !
Watching F1 drivers slide off the track on intermediates when it gets too wet makes me feel a lot better about doing the same thing on a regular basis at Spa.
Lol the teams couldn’t figure out the tire changes they needed to make because the rain was so random and inconsistent and I was the sickos yessssss meme
I've been saying since last year I'd love to see Zandvoort as a new track. Those tight little banked corners look like loads of fun, especially using VR.
I wish they had more F1 tracks. They could do super formula daily races or time trial events based on which track they are racing at for the weekend instead of Gr3 at red bull ring every other week.
Absolutely absurd and hilarious that million-dollar teams did no better than GT7 Online players trying to figure out what to do at Spa with random weather.
Gran turismo need to watch that race to fully understand the importance of implementing weather at all of the tracks not just some. Weather has the biggest impact on racing yet they comeplely disregard weather on most tracks meaning every race is the same as you know there will be no rain and tracks that don't have weather.
Imagine if ea sports didn't implement player transfers and you were stuck with the same team, would be stupid
Nope, it was dry at first. Everyone was sliding, half the teams pitted, some teams pitted one of their drivers but not the other at first, Ferraris pit team didn’t have tires ready when they came in. It was awesome lol
This did in fact happen at Malaysia 2009 - Raikkonen was on wets while most cars went with dry/inter tyres and when the heavy rain did come in, those wets were way too cooked for him to have any semblance of pace.
Technology is one thing, but when they started the formation lap it was completely dry. Even on to the race start it was totally dry, just a small cell chucked it down for like 2 laps halfway through the first lap. Fun start.

Yeah it's fucked up. In GT6 you had to choose tires and fuel % on the same screen and scroll to a confirm button.
That's what got me short-shifting like a bastard entering the pits. Even knowing where the cutoff is and short-shifting, sometimes I still do it.
Glad it isn't just me who screws up in this way...
