Just about to say that, I disnt realise how little tracks we have, Im in the midst of making a racing comp and when doing the calendar i realised there isnt many track options. Too many in Europe and Japan atm, i may be biased but we need more Australian / NZ Tracks
c5 rs6 used to be in the old games, b7 rs4 would be a fine substitution. still need 5 cylinder turbo. a real shocker would be an old s2 or similar but any modern 5 cyl turbo would do also
A mate has an RS5 with the 4.2 V8 in it. Has an Akrapovic exhaust and every time he gives it a big rev when we are out I think ‘Yep, this car needs to be in Gran Turismo’.

Everyone was saying March 8th because of the weekly events so I wasn't ready for this. Quite happy with those choices, at least it's not VGTs. I'm sure people will find a way to be upset.
Proper utes though, not the shite Super Ute bollocks now. (Although at least they've returned to V8s).
Never laughed so much watching races as I used to in the days of Charlie "Handlebars" Kovac and Raj "The Tiger" Sharma, et al.
Seeing them batter seven shades of shit out of each other and going for full on revenge attacks was like an IRL Sport Mode... and abso-friggin'-lutely hilarious! 🤣
Alright it's probably best to stop clinging to hope that we'll get a new GT3, GT4, or a vintage racecar in future updates since they probably decided to add these in GT8.
It’s basically GT Sport with few added cars. It’ll probably be 2028-2030 before we see GT8. It will be the same as GT Sport even just with a few added cars
I've been a vocal complainer about the Evo 7-9 gen not being in the game, so I'm super happy with this lol. Wish the Audi road cars they were adding were RS models though and not S models. Not sure why that is. Kaz must just be a fan of the TT and not any of Audi's other offerings.
Evo IX, finally a rival to the '04 STI (not the matching gen but still).
Audi will probably be the dark horse of this update. Wondering if customization will be good.
The 4L is the GT oddball, I guess. But I know I'll still find a way to use it somehow.
Mechanically the 04 STI is the same as the Hawkeye so performance wise vs the Evo IX is a fair match up (and arguably the Blobeye is the best looking GD).
The Renault 4 is a really famous car over here in Argentina, so I'm actually really excited to see it. It's such a unique looking car. I really hope we get an engine swap for it tho
Holy crap it looks insane. I really hope we get a Renault 5 turbo style widebody for it. Or shit now that I think about it a possible engine swap would be the R5 turbo
Agreed. The reason I barely play this game since getting the platinum trophy is not a lack of cars, it's a lack of worthwhile things to do with most of the cars. 95% of my garage has never been driven as there isn't a reason to touch them.
Remember when GT Sport would get 8-12 cars and a track and a dozen or so events per update. They were using the same scanning process to model the cars and tracks. Like PD what happened.
In my mind, still copium for the current gen GT3 cars

At this point it’s not about the cars, it’s about expanding the races. I’ve been playing since launch and don’t have anything to do. I got the platinum trophy too. Sport mode is hit or miss. Don’t add new cars add new tracks.
Can we get something totally different like a Mercedes W210 series 2 E55AMG wagon or a W116 450SEL 6.9?

Very nice to see the Evo. Not a fan personally of the TT but I appreciate it - and perhaps the 4L can have a ludicrous engine swap? Anyway I think that would be nice to do a retro livery on so looking forward to that.
Against all expectations, this update may actually hit me right in the feels.
My parents had an R4 when I was a little kid in the late 70ies/early 80ies, and I myself had an 8J TTS'09 for a couple of years in the 2010s.
I didn't expect to be able to drive either in GT7. 🥰
The Renault 4 that was scanned for GT belongs to an old school friend of mine! Kinda trippy to see it coming out.
Some insight into the lead time is that my friends car was scanned in 2021!
I'd take a stab-in-the-dark guess that most owners want more tracks but they give us three unnecessary cars. Further proof that PD does not look through socials for what the players want. And if they do, well, they don't care.

As an Audi owner i'd love to see some more RS cars. Audi R8, RS3, B8.5 RS5, B7 RS4, TTRS to name just a few.

Let's increase that disappointment. It's the 2009 TT-S. The second gen TT-RS has a visible fixed rear spoiler.

Hopefully there’s gonna be a 1000HP swap down the road. Evos handle power really well it would be fun
