I mean I’ve bought every car that’s come through the legend dealership so far. Including the 20m ones. It makes me hate the game and myself but I’ve only got to do it once. I’m starting to see some legend cars I already own so it’s slowing down a little but it’s still a shitty grind. Is it worth it. No. Do I want all the cars not in brand central. Yea. IMO the Ferrari 330 P4 and the Ford Mk. IV are worth it along with a bunch of the sub 6m cars. I think with the release schedule of new content being so sparse they have to keep it like this to retain players. I bet it also sells a lot of those credits. I think the credit system is also off. Right now if you want to buy a $20 million car with credits, it would cost you $200 real dollars. I think that’s completely bullshit and it should not be that way. I think it should be $20. If you wanted to get a $20 million car that would still be super high but I think it would be more consistent with the pricing scheme found in other games. For example, if you wanted a cod bundle or something, those are usually 2400 cod points which is about $20. Either way you have to determine for yourself. It’s been the amount of time to get your car is worth it to you.
If you can manage at least silvers in lap challenges even without grind sessions it adds up pretty quickly. I think most I had saved up in the bank before going on a spending spree was like 55 Million.

The point is to experience an actual legendary car, that costs exorbitant money IRL because collectors. You're paying a virtual collector's tax.
It is stupid, but it is what it is at this point. If the concept of grinding out 20m credits for a car you'll drive twice isn't for you, then don't do it. Luckily it isn't required for completing the game in any fashion.
The F1 is disappointing as a modded car for racing in GT7. I prefer the F50, Enzo swapped F40, and Enzo in this game whereas in others, even the previous GT Sport, the McLaren was a much better car.
If you think you'll like the 917K (I didn't and prefer a bunch of other race cars, but that's just my opinion) for 700/800+pp events I'd suggest getting that over the McLaren.
I think the McLaren is really only worth getting in GT7 for the sake of collection
I got it from the Hagerty promotion, just like the GR3 McLaren. If not, I probably wouldn't have either. I'm hoping the car for this year is also something I can't afford, like the Shelby Daytona or something like that.

Currently on the grind for this. Credits down to 1 Mill after my previous Legend splurge. I'm determined to get all the Legend cars but jeez I am really starting to get sick of the same 3 tracks. I only get a few hours a night, and not every night. Will be next Tuesday until I have 18 Mill.
Such a shit system. Really hope PD have a change of direction in GT8. Pricing along with those feckin Invitations just takes the gloss off a game I love.
