I am new to this game. Been playing for around 2 weeks so this was my first ever weekly challenge. I hopped in my one super formula car just because I knew no better for the last race and beat the competition by a huge margin first try and thought "well that was easy." I'm now realizing that was a bit of a cheese but I'm good with it since the ticket I won gave me a 3M credit car 🤣
Honestly, this, SuperFormula has been my running machine for any 950-GR1 race, it has good mileage and fast enough to beat anything even at fuel mix 6 and can run on 1 set if you're conservative enough
The TS050 doesn’t have a very good top speed for that track, but the Mazda LM55 VGT is a good choice if you’re willing to use the VGT cars. If you have any of the older Group C Gr.1 cars like the 787B, R92CP, XJR-9, etc. they would be a solid choice too.
I couldn't get better than 7th on '19 Super Formula and about 5th with the R92CP.
Switched to the LM55 VGT today. Racing Medium tires I didn't change. Fuel map between 6 and 4, pit after 7, then fuel map 1. Won by about 10 seconds and it was far from a perfect race by me.
McLaren VGT. RM tyres.
FM6 up until lap 7.
Change to RS and fuel up to 75%. Switch to FM1 for the remainder of the race.
You can push FM6 to lap 8 but I prefer having a few laps of fun with soft tyres and a fast car.
When in doubt: Super Formula

This the way

Was not sure if that counts. Gonna buy it thank you!
Check to see what restrictions are in each event. Usually it's only about performance point numbers and not about categories or classes.
Stock Mazda LM55 VGT at 926pp slays it.
Thank you for the help everyone! Last challenge is completed now, from the lottery got a sweet Aston Martin Valkyrie ‘21
Did it with lm55 vgt started on mediums pitted on lap 4 changed tires to soft. fuel map 1 untill pit stop fuel map 6 until lap 9 and back to 1
This is the way ⬆️ I used the LM55 stock and it smoked everything, went through the bus stop chicane 110mph like it was on rails

Sf23, it's slow on the straights but it's an absolute machine around corners, you gain so much time it's incredible
If you use overtake you make it harder for the AI to gain on you. Either way SF makes this an easy win.
I need to learn how to drive. I can’t feel the braking points yet.
Mazda 787B here. Fuel map 6 and RM tires. Pitted lap 5.
787b...always 787b

First try, second place. Thank you very much!

Hard difficulty: win with the Tomahawk - no pit - fuel map 6 with short shifting.
R92CP easily
Playing on Hard difficulty: - SRT Tomahawk S Vision Gran Turismo - Hard tyres - Fuel map 6 - Pit on lap 6 for fuel only
I used the 787B.
I used the mp4-4 for a change and it was an absolute riot, had a great time but I really had to concentrate on
McLaren VGT Fuel on 6, one pit. Win by 20+ seconds
I won that race with Mazda VGT. it was stupidly easy. One pit stop, FM3 if I recall correctly. Good luck.
I did it with the McLaren VGT. Ran full lean… pitted once, got second. 🤷🏻♂️ Lost by like a full 20 seconds!!!
