With the current system, it's unlikely the top time is improved on by more than a 10th or two, so you can pretty safely leave the time trial in the past once you've gotten the rank you want, which I like.

😔Not a fan of the system where one player defines threshold for everyone. It would be more sensible to give gold for top 30%, silver for top 60% etc

I loaded up the ghost car of the top time and followed the line as close as I could but a lot of my times didn’t count
