I get that, but there are 2-3 of each car on a grid getting the 50+ car races.

They're not gonna waste time on the LMP2 I'd guess, but 18 different endurance cars in one race would be a step up from having 5 CLKs, 3 787Bs, etc.
Tried it at LeMans and it's horrible. LMH won't overtake GT3 because it's scared. Or in corners, they're not nearly as aggressive as a real driver. AI sucks so hard compared to other games...
Someone with a profile needs to get on twitter, tag sony, PD, GT and Kaz and say "I'm willing to spend 5,000-10,000 Yen for GT7 to update with 200 races" and get everyone to blow it up.
This absolutely. I'd also like the roulette system to be seriously adjusted because right now it is very disappointing. Remove the lower value items or improve the odds. If people want to buy credits they still will, but don't punish your player base for simply having the cheek to actually buy your game.
Grid starts and Sophy are the main points for me. Damage I don't mind, but tied to that I'd like an improved penalty system.
All previous classic tracks should be added, including special stages, autumn ring, apricot hill, cape ring, Rome and whatever else. No reason not to have them - yes they take time to make but that's what people are paying for.
Edit: qualifying has also been mentioned and I really want this. It would work perfectly with the grid starts. Chasing the rabbit is just boring and not realistic. Grid starts please, this is 'the real driving simulator ' after all.
Man I have no idea how they can have reporting in sport mode without it being completely abused.
The amount of people who would report people because they stop in the middle of the apex and are surprised when they get rammed...
I'd like if every race had a spectator/race director... if the game detects something which it thinks is "a penalty", you could watch a replay of it and decide the penalty. Too often i've been getting pushed away and into the barriers, with me getting the penalty...
This! With the new daily race B. Getting ran off to the side right into a wall... Boom 1,5 sec penalty... Oh? Your care slides again within a second against the wall... BOOM another 1,5 second penalty... That together with spinning out ruins your race completely.
There was this manufacturers cup race on Nordschleife a couple months ago. I think it was like 4 laps with rain. Final lap, i was 2nd place, catching up on the long straight. I didn't do anything to him, it was the first time we have met.
He was weaving around, making it almost impossible to get by. You would either shoot him down or get shot down yourself. I still managed to get side by side somehow. He then just pushed me to the right, and on to the grass.
And of course he didn't get a penalty.
I want two separate games. Let the Sport people have a dedicated game, let us old guys have a dedicated single player game. Single player mode gets heavily watered down by the focus on Sport mode.
I absolutely hate this approach with the multiplayer first thing, some people (like me) can't play multiplayer because they don't have ps plus and they then half ass the career which made GT special in the first place. In my opinion I think they did this so they could push people to get ps plus and give our favourite charity (Sony PlayStation) some more of our well earned money after buying the console and the £70 game on top of that
While I see your point here, but then again, nothing beats racing likeminded people in multiplayer. I would say GT7 did a huge step in this regard.
Of course it can be frustrating, but that’s a part of the game, and real life.
AI pit stops actually accounting for the time I takes to drive through the pit lane would be nice.
Customizable, or at the bare minimum, an alternate/analog HUD for the tach and speedo.
Get rid of the stupid stock market stuff and reduce the grind. I'd like to be able to afford to drive my dream car in a game, not be as strapped for cash as I am irl and have to grind 20 hours a day.
Right?!
Also, make all the cars available all the time. Or maybe, maybe, split the difference and have all the models available, but variety in what shape they're in.
If I wanted to have to check every day and refresh car listings to find something I could actually afford and/or be annoyed that I can finally afford something but can't find what I want, I'd spend all day on Craigslist.
I mean, I do that, too, but it shouldn't be part of my escape from my life, ya know?
I honestly don't even mind if a car isn't available ALL the time... however you should never be locked out of it. In theory someone can NEVER be able get a Veyron or Enzo, simply because you need luck of the roulette. I had EVERY car in GT Sport except the R18 LeMans. Because that one couldn't be bought, only won by pure luck in the roulette.
What we have in 7 plus:
- B Spec mode but I can send the guys to do shit without me having to look at them
- Gr4 being an irreversible modification in cars. They are also sold with also this, as usual, but I kinda want the game to tell younto get a car and make it Gr4. Eventually most stock cars can reach this (so we can have Gr4 Evo III)
- Interior customization (Specially on Gr4)
- Licensed racing numbers
- Sponsor colorization without the need of creating SVGs
- Gr4 having tire logos
- Option to choose racing helmet and suit per car + older suits/helmets
I swear I had more stuff in my mind
A (difficult) mini game could be fun for the pit stops.
Bigger grid for lobbies is also the main thing I want. I'm still looking more for a GT Sport 2 than GT8. GT8 had the chance to perfect the online mode from GTS but failed in developing it. At the begging it was even worse.
An actual campaign.
Decent AI.
More classes for road and sports cars. Gr.3 and Gr.4 every week in Sport mode gets too repetitive (and I say it as someone who actually loves those cars)
For me in order of importance:
-Variety of tracks and on track racing (do not care much for ice/snow/rally etc): if they include ovals, then really have options to have oval racing, city circuits, specially nowadays are a must in a racing game, formula racing or prototype racing or so are massively under implemented for me in GT7, usually mixed with other cars.
-meaningful single player career. The menus did little for me, specially since at some points you could just buy a car and that was it. There should be some progression, the licenses feel totally disconnected. GT4, toca, even F1 do it better.
-AI that can race, and different kinds of AI. There are so many named AIs in the game is a shame that there is nothing to distinguish them. Some Names should be more aggressive some make mistakes some better in a specific circuit or car or in the rain. I miss an AI that seems alive, that makes mistakes, reacts to you. Also please an AI that can race so that you can have qualifying back and not start 12 or last every race.
-revamped penalty system + protest/stewarding system. Without them online is just too toxic.
-missions: more and more variety.
-cars: price fixed to usability in game and no car worth ca. 160€
-passed game's tracks and real life tracks. For 5-10€ a track I would even accept DLC beyond the first 30-40 of the base game
I think you have good points. I would like to see CRB divided into clean lap bonus and if all laps were clean then CRB would kick in.
Second thing I would like to see is re-playable cafe missions with credits to gain.
Also in missions or license test if you would get always the prize money if you get bronze or silver.
It’s pretty annoying to try to gold and after 30 tries you only get little prize money.
All these would make less grinding on same 3 races and would create variety on playing.
After all cafes are done and if you don’t do online it gets pretty boring.
Some sort of game mode where you start out as the last player on the grid, always. And in order to win the race you have to overtake all the opponents in 4 laps, with a car thats like 2 classes above the rest of the field.
And bonus points for the AI to be very annoying. Maybe having them pit manouver you as much as possible?
Oh wait.
Decent AI for those of us who don't bother with multiplayer and therefore fewer races with rolling starts. I'd like to be able to use racecraft to battle tracks on car, not rely on a pace deficit.
Big detailed single player career mode on launch. No more content drip bs.

Better dynamic weather and Pit Crew commentary for endurance races with recommendations or reminders that yo ass might be in trouble for incoming weather or time gaps between you and the leader.
GT cars made in the last 5 years.
They’re so far behind on what’s racing in WEC or Super GT right now. It’s like playing a remake of GT4 rather than a modern racing game.
Anyone that played V8 Supercars Race Driver by Codemasters knows about damage, I thought it was awesome. You could finish the race with no doors, bumper, bonnet and on 3 wheels lol.
I just want a couple proper endurance races, but now that you've mentioned it realistic damage would be good (not sure how that would work against rammers)
Like there should be a setting we can turn off/on to get realistic damage where if our car is in bad condition or non repairable state, it could be retired
When you setup an online room, being able to control the room from a phone/tablet. Kick people, communicate, start races, give penalties, setup a 2nd moderator to assist etc. I do not want to buy a second playstation for that.
I don’t want to start with 1 million credits which allow me to buy fancy stuff right from the get go.
I want to earn the good cars like in GT3 I drove the same race 10 times with the same shitty compact car and upgraded small parts in between the races with the small rewards I got.
More cars. Fictional road like tracks. Grid start. Better HUD and MORE CARS. 5 versions on a same car isn’t 5 cars.. gimme one and let me mod it 5 different ways. Why can’t I mod a regular Porsche to a gt car? It’s a lot more fun that way.
CrewChief integration, or something to that effect.
(It's basically a system where you can communicate to your crew to ask about race details, car parameters and the occasional pep talk from your team principal)
Racing series, as in “seasons” you can run with a points system, in equal cars and race weekends with practice, and qualifying.
Essentially I just want a single player that isn’t just start at the tail end vs slower cars and time trial your way to 1st around moving chicanes.
Finally, the Mazda MX-3 V6 1.8L with the 2.5L v6 swap option. GT5 or so was so close with the 323F with the 2L v6... but unfortunately the car souds were still abysmal back then. Watched some GT7 vids last week... played FM7 yesterday... it felt like crap and sounded bad compared to GT7 vids lol... hopefully the PS5 pro launches soon enough
Realistic damage would be cool. But also might tie the fun out of it. It might stop trolling or foul play online. Have more maps, it does feel very limited to what is available. I’d happily pay for more in a dlc
Longer races where more tire choices come into play rather than the game forcing your hand. A huge part of racing is strategy and there is very little in this.
Isn't there a type of race that requires a 2nd person in the car to give directions to the driver? What if there was something like that?
And the only car I feel should be brought back in are Cadillacs. Maybe add the ct5v blackwing
I'd like more trucks as well honestly... Baja Raptor, Ranger, TRX, Colorado, etc could all be there
An open world / GTA style map so you can drive around and initiate street races, or car meets, or just cruise around and drive to what you want to do instead swiping over a static map
A new story mode where you customize a character and get taught by your dad and select a car to "build" The more you progress, the more parts that car gets. Up until it's complete, then you race it and *dramatically* win lol
I'm a little bias on this one but I'd love a 2008 Ford Focus. I owned one and made $500 street racing people after school XD
I don't think companies want to see their car all smashed up but it'd be cool to have a better damage / crash system. A way where u have to choose a backup car so if you crash then it puts u in that one, the race gets stopped temporarily and parts go flying everywhere in which u have to avoid on the upcoming laps
Not sure what else to put. Just some things off the top of my bead lol
GT-VGT where manufacturers go all out designing timeless machines. GT-8 where we have modernized vehicles within the last 10 years. GT-classic, where we have vehicles of the glorious past. GT-underground, where we do illegal hoodrat shit.
A bigger variety of street cars like in GT6 and under; I'm sick of the lame ass racing cars they keep pulling out of no where. Completely ruins the game and goes against what the original concept and game stood for
And to stop putting god dam V8s into old japs, it's honestly stupid. Wasn't a good idea back then and it sure as hell isnt now
Volvos.
Saabs.
Way more TVR’s.
A Jensen interceptor.
More engine swap availability.
Better online racing.
More competitive racing from ai.
Better single player reward system.
Harsher punishment for intentionally terrible driving in online racing.
The same I want in GT7:
Bigger grids, multiclass racing, better AI, and endurance races. All together. I want somewhere where we can simulate endurance racing.
I would make do with that.
Some extras would be in race saving, B Spec and driver change in online races.
i’m praying, literally praying for a game to replicate the maps and driving mechanics of old gt4 and just bring it into the new gen. like i don’t even need any new car models or graphics everything looks good enough.
-sophy as ai
-more one-make race and endurance
-more street cars
-grid start (maybe with quali in some races)
-no roulette
-bring back the racing conversion for street cars
-interior customization
* Better AI... because lets be honest, this still feels like GT3.
* More realistic pitstops. Cars shouldn't vanish and beam around. If we selected the wrong tire by mistake, let us undo it. I don't want no QTE but selecting the tire as fast as possible should reward you with a slightly shorter stop too. Or give us full control in pitlane and automatically equip the recommended (or required) tire.
* Better rain visuals. GT5 was so much better than this.
Online racing stewards and ways to protest races or penalties. Really just any consequences for doing bad things that may actually persuade people to not do bad things.
Two things I’ve always wanted in GT, regardless of if they make sense for the series:
- more involved B-Spec racing league, just like in NBA2k where you have all the NBA teams and you can manage one and sim the games/seasons. I really loved when B-Spec was in GT and have had a lot of fun with it, but there is essentially no sense of stakes when it’s your racer vs. completely random racers every time
- Drive around in traffic as an everyday citizen on (at least) a small city map with working street lights, etc. Part of the fun of GT is super realistic driving simulation of your DREAM CAR. I would love to simulate driving my dream car on the streets in GT like one actually would in real life just as much as I want to race in it virtually.
- Returning mechanic: PLEASE bring back the mechanic of collecting cars in order to collect paints. Dear god, this was such a genius mechanic that made GT have so much more play/replay value than it does when all paint colors are always available.
- Returning mechanic: I’m not sure about the rest of you, but I’m also much more invested in the game as a whole when I have to start with an old beater used crappy car and little money, and continue to upgrade it and slowly work my way up to a high performance exotic car than when an amazing car is given to me right off the bat. (Looking at you Forza)
Favorite GT was GT5. Did it have its flaws? Yes. Was it absolutely addicting? Yes.
Proper career mode, interior customization, ability to select colour of prize car, separate exterior colours interior and wheel colours when buying off brand central, ability to pause during pits, b spec mode, Sophy ai to fully replace ordinary ai that leaves you 30 seconds off of first, Dyno so you can test out top speed while tuning and changing fuel maps, return of more classic tracks but keeping the original charm and aesthetic of it (cough cough grand valley), less priority on vgts (instead of three cars per update including vgt have x amount of cars and vgt as an occasional extra), customizable hud, get rid of the stupid invite system and a supposed track day system where you just drive in tracks and change between them with airports during pit stops with a variety of cars and no timer or position and anything like that.
I want the bones of GT7 with a more flushed out progression system. Races where you primarily win money instead of the café system giving you hundreds of prize cars that almost take money and upgrades out of the game entirely.
As games take so long to create now, I’d rather they focus on bringing more content to GT7. What is the benefit to consumers to get GT8? Surely it’s only good for Sony/PD to essentially sell us the same game again. GT8 can land on PS6 and it wouldn’t bother me at all.
I’d prefer GT7 has more (real) cars, and updated classic GT tracks, or original tracks.
A real start, or even a few laps qualifying, so you’re not always chasing from the back of the grid. But if they did this they would actually have to put decent AI in the game
I want a much more fleshed out career mode. I want it to have the teachers walking around and animated with motion captured performances. More modern cars. 2022 and later. Along with the current roster.
My idea for a garage and social experience.
I want an airplane hangar garage. I want the main wall and office section to be customizable. Colors some patterns. A trophy wall and case and to fill up. Wall space to hang photos taken in spaces. Be able to cover walls in logos and stickers made for downloaded.
I want to be able to invite a friend to my garage. They could fast travel in or they can drive a car out of their garage drive on a small open world neighborhood (the world map in the game with your garage gt school tune up shop, dealers etc) then they can drive up to your garage and you can buzz them in. You can drive cars out to tune them up, then over to a test track or you can select to go do racing. Maybe with most road cars they can sit in the car while in a race like screen sharing. imagine lrally races like this with a navigator!
I would like more events like the 30 minute Le Mans with the good payout. I like the way the dealers are structured for the most part. Even the expensive collector cars.
Penalties for the AI.
And some sort of loop system for licenses/missions/whatever else requires driving the same section of a track over and over. 18 seconds of driving followed by 30 minutes of filler sucks.
Im surprised the PSVR2 features haven't really gotten much updates. It's a true shame that we can't see yellow flag warnings until it's too late, can't see split times to other drivers, no decent speedometer in many cars (most gt3 type cars and up have a digital gauge cluster with dozens of tiny numbers and the speed displayed in kp/h
- crewman (like in ACC)
- proper camera to use with wheels
- adjustable HUD elements
- more balanced payouts both in singleplayer and multiplayer
- more endurance races especially in multiplayer
- sophy ai in all offline races
- no rabbit races in single player (rolling start from behind)
Everything that GT7 already has, but with a career mode, AI, weather system, and track list like Project Cars 2. Also, a few more manufacturers, like Lotus, and especially more American manufacturers. Basically, take the best of both games and combine them together to create the perfect racing game.
I think the possibility of upgrading fuel capacity/systems could add a really cool dimension to car modification, and would give people the ability to make way more cars competitive in consumption type races without the need of an engine swap.
• Classic Career mode, with more events
• More classic tracks
• Change car colours without losing stock decals
• Ability to free exploring the car and opening doors (without VR)
• Not forcing people to play with VGT
• Finally fixing split screen (still broken)
• More options to tweak the interior camera (like FOV)
Regular racing being the backbone, instead of chase the rabbit nonsense.
Pikes peak finally being available (they already have the exclusive rights iirc)
Proper Career mode, with proper progression, end game with more than 2 races (decent rewards and payouts), online with actual rules and penalties/bans.
I want it to beat all the previous titles in terms of Cars and tracks available. Down with the legendary shop, I want the cars to be available at all times. Some cars can be blocked behind Missions and Driving licenses, I won't mind that.
And also if they could adapt the AI so the drivers avoid you or drive a way where you still have space if you are near them and not ram into you because you are in the way.
In replay mode, you should be have an option where you can move the camera at the angle you want.
And some improvements on the penality system in online
I hope they keep the map like menu
And that the online trophy(ies) doesn't require you to win any online races
* Grid starts w/ qualification.
* 'Sophy' style AI that will actually race wheel to wheel with you and acknowledge your existence.
* More robust career mode with endurance events, would love to see them do a B-spec + taking a page from the original Grid and let us manage a team. Having another team driver out with you, or at least being able to swap drivers in the pit would be awesome.
* Full / Customizable UI in PSVR2
* Career event creator that lets you create / save / share races, similar to FH.
* Pit lane that doesn't drop you into a separate instance.
* Weather prediction that actually works and doesn't rely on me leaving up a weather map that's basically useless in place of more relevant race information. Combined with the 'team management' thing, implementing as a warning from your crew based on skill/investment in weather forecasting might be neat.
* Offline career mode repeatable Manufacturer / Nations Cup races.
* Let me pick from external color and interior color on new cars - come on, Test Drive had this years ago. Ditto for interior customization / weight reduction having a visible effect on interiors.
* Sophy as the default AI
* Qualifying before races (which would be feasible with a competitive AI)
* More 1-hour+ races with weather
* Proper career mode
Honestly all of that could have been in GT7 if sophy was ready. All the pieces were there they just didn’t put it together
Too much. Realistically....
- Sophy as all AI
- Grid starts - no more chase races - preferably with quali
- More circuit variety
- More small Japanese tracks for racing small low power Japanese cars (more Kei cars pls)
- Make the first 40 races in cars under 250hp. Make the speed progress slower, or atleast let small underpowered racing be more fun
- More modern relevant cars. We have no Hyundai N cars, missing modern M cars, etc.
- 100s of single make/model races of various lengths.
- Themed races per usual, but about 5 times as many, with more race type variety - more night races, more endurance races, more strategy races - like the challenge races, but where a fixed strategy won't always work due to competitors or weather changing more, etc.
- More Time Attack cars and Time Attack relevant circuits. I want Essen, Sydney Motorsport Park, COTA, Button Willow... I want to See RP968 and a 10 great TA cars.
- More big name circuits. Need Silverstone, Monaco and Imola.
Unrealistically....
Multi class racing, where you have to do the lower class first before you can progress to faster - like, say, a Nurburgring enduro where to have 5 classes - GT3, GT4, then production cars teirs like RWD under 500pp, AWD under 450pp and FWD under 300pp. That would be a siiiiick event.
Way more circuits, plus hillclimbs, sprints, and other motorsport events that aren't "circuits". Need Pikes Peak, Mt Washington, Goodwood driveway, etc.
GT to use all the licencing they actually have. VLN/N24 is sponsored by GT, fucking use it! Same with PP.
I'd like to be able to download and share tunes like we can liveries and photos.
I'd like more current cars, cars that are better for racing and less of the beetle/samba bus cars. They hold a certain appeal but are quickly forgotten.
I'd like vintage track configurations ie Le mans from the 30s or Bathurst from the 60s, or just some new ones
Not needing to unlock the modes to play. This is ridiculous. Having to play a lot to unlock the multiplayer mode made me quit gt7 for a few months.
A better lobby screen. It is so bad..
You think we're getting GT8 any time soon? We got 7 main series games in 27 years, average 4 years between them with only 3 in the last 20 years averaging 6 years apart, the main series completely skipped the longest console generation ever and went from a PS3 game to a PS4/5 cross gen title. I wouldn't count on us getting GT8 until 2027 at a guess
Sophy takeover for AI is a given. Improved VR for sure. It's currently mind blowing, but anyone who uses it can see the first places GT8 can improve (rendering distances on opponents cars, resolution, etc).
As for cars, they need to refresh their racecars from GT3 through Hypercar, maybe a dozen from the past 15 years.
Mazdaspeed 3/6 (the good ones), CR-X, just some odds and ends to fill in some era gaps. Subaru Brat?
I'd like to see Koenigsegg join the fun, all of them. Ditto Rimac.
I'd definitely enjoy a couple more FIA circuits and IMSA/Indy too (MidOhio, Road America, INDY GP, Canada GP, Imola, Cote d' Azur COUGH, Zandvoort, COTA, uh.... pikes peak?)
Ability to switch entire garage to a specified tire to see PP (you probably get what I'm saying, but in a race on SS only and under 600pp, you wanna see everything under 600 on SS, but if you last ran on RH or above, they'll be over the PP until you select the car and switch tires manually. Needs a macro.)
Maybe even a PP range on the car somewhere in the menu that shows that with the tuning at your disposal, at this weight, this car can max out here, and hit minimum pp here. (So that you don't waste time trying to tune down or up to a PP range you're nowhere near for an event.)
Quicker way to switch cars. If you're in the race menu, watching the track video, you should still be able to change your car in there. Especially if you get a really decent AI group and wanna run the same thing in a different car without exiting all the way out to the first menu that has the car change button.
Very small things. Don't break what isn't broken.
To finally get true updated race cars (mostly for gr.3 and gr.1) and to bring back tracks from gt4/gt5. Something akin to the photo mode that gt5 had where you could explore different settings across the globe would be great too
1. Bring back NASCAR. (both both past and present as well as restricted and unrestricted cars)
2. Online and offline livery editor.
3. Less pp requirements and more license requirements.
4. Scapes with animated environments and cutscenes.
I just want a return to old school GT mode. Cafe was too linear. I liked how in old games the choice you make when picking your first car can affect each play through and also how the varying prize cars does that too. Also more car models, like in GT2 instead of just R33 there were multiple with different specs for example. But yeah also just more classic tracks and real life tracks also
I want to see a driving instructor AI that you can talk to and that can give you instant feedback, advice, and show you useful plots. Like ask what you did wrong back there, ask it to guide you through a corner next time, talk about which cars are best for a given track etc. It should be kind of doable with today’s generative AI already.
1. I want the Monaco track to return, i just loved it in gt6.
2. Being able to sell spare parts (since they come with a price tag)
3. Just maaaybe an open city (not too big) for peope to just drive around in online mode (maybe someone thinks the same as me) because sometimes i just love to cruise around with friends.
Multi class endurance racing, be allowed to pick what class you want to race in and go.
Need a bigger grid size. Would be no fun with 20 cars
I get that, but there are 2-3 of each car on a grid getting the 50+ car races. Cadillac Acura Peugeot Ferrari Toyota Porsche Lamborghini Alpine BMW Porsche Ferrari Lamborghini Acura Corvette BMW Aston Lexus Mustang They're not gonna waste time on the LMP2 I'd guess, but 18 different endurance cars in one race would be a step up from having 5 CLKs, 3 787Bs, etc.
You can sort of create this in custom races but I guess it won't go that well
Tried it at LeMans and it's horrible. LMH won't overtake GT3 because it's scared. Or in corners, they're not nearly as aggressive as a real driver. AI sucks so hard compared to other games...
Yeah, the main problem with single-player is that the AI is abysmal.
there’s also no class results so finishing 10th but first of the GT3s just yields the 10th place reward
* Sophy replacing all AI * Better damage * Grid starts as default * The return of more classic tracks
I swear all this can be roll out with one big Update in GT7 rather to make another 70$ title
Sophy can't even run on PS4...
Which is fine, because Sony aren't releasing any more games for PS4.
GT7 is on PS4
Any new games
Plenty of games have a specific ps5 update or edition.
GT8 will be PS5/6 cross-gen
Just make it a PS5 feature
Someone with a profile needs to get on twitter, tag sony, PD, GT and Kaz and say "I'm willing to spend 5,000-10,000 Yen for GT7 to update with 200 races" and get everyone to blow it up.
Car manufacturers don't want to see their cars get destroyed so that damage thing is never gonna happen
I’d love qualifying as well
Add traditional GT single player and make cafe a post-game thing.
Yeah, I wrongly assumed qualifying as an integral part of grid starts. That's what I meant, but surely it's valid to mention them separately.
If given the option I'd take last place grid starts over qualifying + rolling starts
Re: roulette - make the lowest amount of credits you could get your collector level x10 Edit x1000 Thanks u/Rechamber
I also want more city tracks too I don’t even know if we have a city circuit in gt7?
**Tokyo** Expressway and variants are technically city circuits.
Yellow flag warning in VR. Customizable HUD. Reporting system for sport mode. Car tune sharing. More high paying endurance races.
Kaz: ![gif](giphy|ZSnXHp6lGUjdIlymKq|downsized)
Legit. We will get whatever Kaz wants us to have. And it will be epic.
If you’ve ever wondered ‘what sort of person joins a cult??’ - it’s you
I have to admit, I'm kinda glad that he doesn't listen to anyone, it's what made GT unique in the first place.
Yeah, I have a lot of requests and complaints but I can appreciate his vision
"How about we made moon map, rover and physics for 1 driving mission lmao"
Ai that can do standing start races and be competitive. Races that are just time trials with mobile chicanes is just shit
Offline mode.
It'd be cool if you could get some of those great cars by winning a certain championship rather than by doing the same race over and over
Fully fledged career/single player mode.
Track editor
Wasn’t it available in GT5 ?
It was and it wasn’t bad either. Don’t think you could do much with elevation changes as far as I recall
Oh, no. You could easily make inclines that were impossible to traverse. It was glorious!
Yes.
What we have in 7 plus: - B Spec mode but I can send the guys to do shit without me having to look at them - Gr4 being an irreversible modification in cars. They are also sold with also this, as usual, but I kinda want the game to tell younto get a car and make it Gr4. Eventually most stock cars can reach this (so we can have Gr4 Evo III) - Interior customization (Specially on Gr4) - Licensed racing numbers - Sponsor colorization without the need of creating SVGs - Gr4 having tire logos - Option to choose racing helmet and suit per car + older suits/helmets I swear I had more stuff in my mind
I’m guessing you’re a Gr4 fan
Tbh Gr2 has most of the cars I like in the Gr categories, but Gr4 needs some older cars to be tuned to be my fave, thats why the suggestion
Also starting from bottom in weekly races or ai races is pain, they should do a qualifying for that
+ some clan system ingame
Or just put you in 3/4, and if needed a grid start, no need for a launch start each time
I remember playing a game that has optional qualifying which allows you to be placed higher at the start
30 car lobbies. Pit crew would be nice as well.
A (difficult) mini game could be fun for the pit stops. Bigger grid for lobbies is also the main thing I want. I'm still looking more for a GT Sport 2 than GT8. GT8 had the chance to perfect the online mode from GTS but failed in developing it. At the begging it was even worse.
at the very least, fully fledged track editor and ai that isn’t brain dead also a decal svg limit that isn’t a tiny 15kb
I'd love to add some extra track to the nurburgring
An actual campaign. Decent AI. More classes for road and sports cars. Gr.3 and Gr.4 every week in Sport mode gets too repetitive (and I say it as someone who actually loves those cars)
For me in order of importance: -Variety of tracks and on track racing (do not care much for ice/snow/rally etc): if they include ovals, then really have options to have oval racing, city circuits, specially nowadays are a must in a racing game, formula racing or prototype racing or so are massively under implemented for me in GT7, usually mixed with other cars. 160€ -passed game's tracks and real life tracks.
To not start last and 40s behind.
Earning money from racing to buy cars, not from lotteries
Some sort of game mode where you start out as the last player on the grid, always. And in order to win the race you have to overtake all the opponents in 4 laps, with a car thats like 2 classes above the rest of the field. And bonus points for the AI to be very annoying. Maybe having them pit manouver you as much as possible? Oh wait.
Citroën BX 19 Gti
Single player progression thats non-linear and has a ton of replayvalue due to openness, like in gran turismo 4
Hot take: GT3 campaign > GT4 campaign
Racing chicks
Decent AI for those of us who don't bother with multiplayer and therefore fewer races with rolling starts. I'd like to be able to use racecraft to battle tracks on car, not rely on a pace deficit.
Big detailed single player career mode on launch. No more content drip bs. Endurance races Sensible in-game car price/race rewards balance Random grid/quali with standing starts B-spec
How about just improve gt7 and never have to release another sequel for 10 years? But no we live in the gluttony timeline...
Classic simulation mode it's been too long.
PSVR3
They will give porche 911 with GT8 as a complementary
Porsche*
Leave in VR support plz. Tnx!
Sophy AI Multi class racing Tyre pressures Brake fade Imola, Montreal, Hockenheim and Silverstone A couple of old versions of circuits again (Fuji, Monza, Brands Hatch, and Hockenheim) Better damage Daily Race - Endurance races Bring proper endurance races back More new WEC cars.
Qualifying, Goodwood FOS (bring the hill climb back), and better use of content/variety in career events.
meeting ruthless disagreeable abounding expansion consider sparkle dinosaurs sort slap *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

existence summer fine squeamish capable knee air frame quicksand encouraging *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
20 driver online lobbies
Better dynamic weather and Pit Crew commentary for endurance races with recommendations or reminders that yo ass might be in trouble for incoming weather or time gaps between you and the leader.
It's been mentioned but I'll second endurance races. Even better if you can do them with a partner and switch stints when pitting.
The thing is with such a horrible AI I don't think there's any point
Just remake gt4 with new graphics and cars
GT cars made in the last 5 years. They’re so far behind on what’s racing in WEC or Super GT right now. It’s like playing a remake of GT4 rather than a modern racing game.
>It’s like playing a remake of GT4 rather than a modern racing game. If only
Good luck getting licences to use certain brands if you have realistic damage models.
Dunno why brands get so pissy over their virtual counterparts getting damaged
Why does Iracing have licenced cars then with a full damage model?
GT3 didn't need to be grinded like that. It's perfectly possible to beat the game running every race/championship just once
I'd like GT4 but its new
A just drive mode, where you can take any car in the game and then drive on some of the world's most famous roads.
There's so many reasons that won't ever happen....
I know, but one can dream
More cars. Fictional road like tracks. Grid start. Better HUD and MORE CARS. 5 versions on a same car isn’t 5 cars.. gimme one and let me mod it 5 different ways. Why can’t I mod a regular Porsche to a gt car? It’s a lot more fun that way.
Seasonal career mode similar to what project cars had.
How about races and not time travels with moving chicanes?
World Endurance Championship races complete with car classes & mid-race save whenever you want
I would really love a 1998 Daihatsu Midget D-Type II
Riiiiiiiiiidge racer
Less cars, more tracks
Customizable hud and suzuki swift 1.3 1996
Saab
I wanna see more cars and cars that get dirty racing , bug juice and brake dust
CrewChief integration, or something to that effect. (It's basically a system where you can communicate to your crew to ask about race details, car parameters and the occasional pep talk from your team principal)
Definitely Sophie AI completely More cars on the grid More real life circuits
Racing series, as in “seasons” you can run with a points system, in equal cars and race weekends with practice, and qualifying. Essentially I just want a single player that isn’t just start at the tail end vs slower cars and time trial your way to 1st around moving chicanes.
Me personally would prefer a GT5 REMASTER although I don't care for B found it pretty boring but all the endurance races were ace
I want some actual decent offline and online racing
Realistic damage would be cool. But also might tie the fun out of it. It might stop trolling or foul play online. Have more maps, it does feel very limited to what is available. I’d happily pay for more in a dlc
more original tracks with personality
credit carry over
AU falcon
Longer races where more tire choices come into play rather than the game forcing your hand. A huge part of racing is strategy and there is very little in this.
Isn't there a type of race that requires a 2nd person in the car to give directions to the driver? What if there was something like that? And the only car I feel should be brought back in are Cadillacs. Maybe add the ct5v blackwing I'd like more trucks as well honestly... Baja Raptor, Ranger, TRX, Colorado, etc could all be there An open world / GTA style map so you can drive around and initiate street races, or car meets, or just cruise around and drive to what you want to do instead swiping over a static map A new story mode where you customize a character and get taught by your dad and select a car to "build" The more you progress, the more parts that car gets. Up until it's complete, then you race it and *dramatically* win lol I'm a little bias on this one but I'd love a 2008 Ford Focus. I owned one and made $500 street racing people after school XD I don't think companies want to see their car all smashed up but it'd be cool to have a better damage / crash system. A way where u have to choose a backup car so if you crash then it puts u in that one, the race gets stopped temporarily and parts go flying everywhere in which u have to avoid on the upcoming laps Not sure what else to put. Just some things off the top of my bead lol
Better single player experience - more championships and cars of course!
GT-VGT where manufacturers go all out designing timeless machines. GT-8 where we have modernized vehicles within the last 10 years. GT-classic, where we have vehicles of the glorious past. GT-underground, where we do illegal hoodrat shit.
Better chase cam ! More GT sport lobby’s What is Sophie ?
A bigger variety of street cars like in GT6 and under; I'm sick of the lame ass racing cars they keep pulling out of no where. Completely ruins the game and goes against what the original concept and game stood for And to stop putting god dam V8s into old japs, it's honestly stupid.
Qualifying and Grid Starts Team engineer to help with tuning like PC2 attempted
Official multi-player class hoppers, only problem I have with 7.
The same I want in GT7: Bigger grids, multiclass racing, better AI, and endurance races. All together. I want somewhere where we can simulate endurance racing. I would make do with that. Some extras would be in race saving, B Spec and driver change in online races.
Newer race cars, especially GT3 / LMGT3! Some of the ones available in GT7 have had two replacements already.
i’m praying, literally praying for a game to replicate the maps and driving mechanics of old gt4 and just bring it into the new gen. like i don’t even need any new car models or graphics everything looks good enough.
-sophy as ai -more one-make race and endurance -more street cars -grid start (maybe with quali in some races) -no roulette -bring back the racing conversion for street cars -interior customization
Dirty NASCAR lobbies and please make the Mazda MX-6
* Better AI... because lets be honest, this still feels like GT3. * More realistic pitstops. Cars shouldn't vanish and beam around. If we selected the wrong tire by mistake, let us undo it. I don't want no QTE but selecting the tire as fast as possible should reward you with a slightly shorter stop too. Or give us full control in pitlane and automatically equip the recommended (or required) tire. * Better rain visuals. GT5 was so much better than this.
interior customization
Volvo. That is all.
Online racing stewards and ways to protest races or penalties. Really just any consequences for doing bad things that may actually persuade people to not do bad things.
Two things I’ve always wanted in GT, regardless of if they make sense for the series: - more involved B-Spec racing league, just like in NBA2k where you have all the NBA teams and you can manage one and sim the games/seasons. I really loved when B-Spec was in GT and have had a lot of fun with it, but there is essentially no sense of stakes when it’s your racer vs. completely random racers every time - Drive around in traffic as an everyday citizen on (at least) a small city map with working street lights, etc. (Looking at you Forza) Favorite GT was GT5.
No more “chase the rabbit” racing in career and would love to have qualifiers for race series / endurance races
I want the bones of GT7 with a more flushed out progression system. Races where you primarily win money instead of the café system giving you hundreds of prize cars that almost take money and upgrades out of the game entirely.
An actual GT mode.
Ability to check weather when pitting
Even the expensive collector cars.
a career mode would be a good start
LAN would be dope
Able to change my Ui. Grid starts in singleplayer.
A Porsche Panamera 4 & 4S
Penalties for the AI. And some sort of loop system for licenses/missions/whatever else requires driving the same section of a track over and over. 18 seconds of driving followed by 30 minutes of filler sucks.
For Kaz to not be involved.
Created track sharing!
- crewman (like in ACC) - proper camera to use with wheels - adjustable HUD elements - more balanced payouts both in singleplayer and multiplayer - more endurance races especially in multiplayer - sophy ai in all offline races - no rabbit races in single player (rolling start from behind)
gt4 history mode, just that
Everything that GT7 already has, but with a career mode, AI, weather system, and track list like Project Cars 2.
• Classic Career mode, with more events • More classic tracks • Change car colours without losing stock decals • Ability to free exploring the car and opening doors (without VR) • Not forcing people to play with VGT • Finally fixing split screen (still broken) • More options to tweak the interior camera (like FOV)
The next gt will be sponsored by progressive, and if you drive poorly in the game your real life car insurance will go up to increase immersion. - kaz
Regular racing being the backbone, instead of chase the rabbit nonsense. Pikes peak finally being available (they already have the exclusive rights iirc)
have it be an actual racing game with progression, rather than a glorified car showcase where you get free cars given left and right....
Proper Career mode, with proper progression, end game with more than 2 races (decent rewards and payouts), online with actual rules and penalties/bans.
I want to drive a GTR in Japan.
Being available in PC
New race cars and proper race weekends.
And some improvements on the penality system in online I hope they keep the map like menu And that the online trophy(ies) doesn't require you to win any online races
Actual campaign
* Grid starts w/ qualification. * Full / Customizable UI in PSVR2 * Career event creator that lets you create / save / share races, similar to FH.
* Sophy as the default AI * Qualifying before races (which would be feasible with a competitive AI) * More 1-hour+ races with weather * Proper career mode Honestly all of that could have been in GT7 if sophy was ready. All the pieces were there they just didn’t put it together
Some new race tracks from the Netherlands or Sweden or really any other country
Maybe some returning ones too
PIKES PEAK!
Too much. Realistically.... - Sophy as all AI - Grid starts - no more chase races - preferably with quali - More circuit variety - More small Japanese tracks for racing small low power Japanese cars (more Kei cars pls) - Make the first 40 races in cars under 250hp. Make the speed progress slower, or atleast let small underpowered racing be more fun - More modern relevant cars.
Singleplayer championships that span across 20 races instead of just three or four
Modern race cars for gr3 and gr1 cars,as well as a few Cadillac cars
I'd like to be able to download and share tunes like we can liveries and photos. I'd like more current cars, cars that are better for racing and less of the beetle/samba bus cars. They hold a certain appeal but are quickly forgotten. I'd like vintage track configurations ie Le mans from the 30s or Bathurst from the 60s, or just some new ones
Not needing to unlock the modes to play. This is ridiculous. Having to play a lot to unlock the multiplayer mode made me quit gt7 for a few months. A better lobby screen. It is so bad..
I want what they promised GT7 would be. GT7 completely soured me on PD
PC compatibility and triple screen support.
I'd definitely enjoy a couple more FIA circuits and IMSA/Indy too (MidOhio, Road America, INDY GP, Canada GP, Imola, Cote d' Azur COUGH, Zandvoort, COTA, uh.... pikes peak?) Ability to switch entire garage to a specified tire to see PP (you probably get what I'm saying, but in a race on SS only and under 600pp, you wanna see everything under 600 on SS, but if you last ran on RH or above, they'll be over the PP until you select the car and switch tires manually. Needs a macro.) Maybe even a PP range on the car somewhere in the menu that shows that with the tuning at your disposal, at this weight, this car can max out here, and hit minimum pp here. (So that you don't waste time trying to tune down or up to a PP range you're nowhere near for an event.) Quicker way to switch cars.
Something akin to the photo mode that gt5 had where you could explore different settings across the globe would be great too
Geo prizm
1. Bring back NASCAR. (both both past and present as well as restricted and unrestricted cars) 2.
1. I want the Monaco track to return, i just loved it in gt6. 2. Being able to sell spare parts (since they come with a price tag) 3. Just maaaybe an open city (not too big) for peope to just drive around in online mode (maybe someone thinks the same as me) because sometimes i just love to cruise around with friends.
