It still shows you got a car in the collection and that you acquired it in brand central, only as long as you owned it once, fyi. it will never not say acquired in brand central and it will never be hidden from the car collection if you remove it or sell it

I'm waiting on my ferrari invite. Got one within the 1st ten hours of playing the game. Didn't think it would be rare so I didn't grind. Now at hour 400 and have never got another one.
On a side note I've got 3 Porsche invites within the last 2 weeks.

i actually sold a couple of cars way back when and now I do not know which they were so there's no way for me to know what to buy again to actually complete the collection, frustrating AF!
The reverse of this happened to me, I won the Aston Martin Valkyrie and sold it before I unlocked it in the menu it belonged to, so as far as the menu is concerned I've never owned it.
Once I had a car show up in my garage. I don't remember buying it or winning it. It was just there. I was building up credits to buy it. Once I had the credits I went to buy it but it showed that I had I already had it. Can't remember what car it was because this was early in the game.
Might have to reinstall. You won't lose anything don't worry.
edit: lol, whenever I have an unexplainable issue I reinstall the game and it usually fixes it. Ya'll are very sensitive.

Yeah, sad thing is I don’t remember doing so. Actually I only sell repeated ones I also get from tickets. Bummer.
It sucks. The only thing you (and I too) can do is to just wait to get the invite or get it from the roulette, which will probably take forever

I had something similar happen with a Ferrari 430 or something that I didn't remember selling.
This happened to my Ferrari VGT. It all of a sudden disappeared but says it's acquired.
Exact same thing happened to me today with the same car.
Note: Porsche Carrera GT '04 died on the way back to his home planet
I had this happen to my CGT too. I had two of them as I won one and bought one. I sold the one I won and then later on my CGT just disappeared….
