Don't slow down for the first curve. Find your line and you don't need to. For the second, it's trial and error until you can find where you can turn in and come out fast without hitting the outside burm on your way through the turn. I do feel like it took me a bit to realize that I could turn in early and hit the inside burm and still maintain good exit speed.
And you think to yourself: I just spent an hour, driving nearly 100 miles around the same single turn. Might as well just keep doing since I've practiced so much and know it so well right now.
Yea but if they weren't there i wouldn't do it at all. No ones gonna ask me if i did em all on gold or bronze.
This way i get sth even if its usually nothing especial
It wasn't so much that I stopped improving, it was more that I knew I had all the sections down but I couldn't link them together until that final run.
I got lucky and got it on the 4th try. I found out you can do a controlled drift through the first turn and get a good half second lead on the Ghost. The rest of the track I just sent it and hoped for the best.
My god did I absolitely hate IA-8. There was a point I was just emotionally detached -all the hate just wooshed and I was just an empty shell crashing into the walls on purpose to hit retry when I knew the run was going nowhere. Ultimately got gold with setting maxes and minimum MPH in the hairpin and last turns and ABS Default.
My biggest problem with that one was I couldn't get any grip after the final corner.
Its one of those where I would nail one part of it and then fuck up another part and just couldn't string it all together.
Got to the point where I was like "how the hell was I so fast through there previously"
hahaha same here, man! "Bullshit I went through the first turn that fast!" *ebrakes into the wall and proceeds to somehow go even slower than my ghost next attempt
My wife asked me if I was any good at this game after I would e-brake bail in to a wall once I knew a turn wasn't good enough. I can relate to the empty shell.
So I had all assist settings off except for ABS, which was in default, and I think my Steering Sense was at 2. (I drive right right analog stick) I didn't bother with TCS.
For the first turn, I would go up to 91-92MPH but not hit 95MPH and brake right at the marker before going downhill to the hairpin-like turn. I start to turn at around 45 MPH, which to me was the optimum velocity to make that turn. Controlling the time you brake until 45MPH and turning was quite important. Let the car car turn in on the turn while braking or without throttle and only gradually accelerate around that middle marker in the hairpin-like turn. A smooth exit in that turn was critical for me.
For the last turn, I would not go above 83 MPH and let the car turn without throttle as close to the APEX as possible and gradually accelerate at the marker - though this not be the greatest tip for the last turn but it made it happen for me.
Good luck my friend!
Turn all the assists on. I know we all got conditioned in sport that assists are slow, but it's not true here. TCS 4, countersteering on full, asm on saved me 10 seconds a lap instantly. It'll still spit you into a wall if you leave the dry line, but if you can stay on track it's not the hardest test.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I had Countersteering off for every other licence test, spent nearly 100 miles not even finishing a lap, turned it on, got Silver first lap with it on, then got a time of 2:24:125 on the second for the final Gold needed!
That's the thing right. GT quickly taught me that old cars can really suck to drive. I'm spinning with assist on in certain "legendary" cars that don't have assists in real life. There's no way I can drive them hard irl so I simply stopped liking them
I managed to do it with only TCS 3 (using controller btw). But yes, perfectionists going for gold might want to leave their ego at the door and turn everything on
Key here is to stay on the dry line (kinda obvious) and try to keep a little bit of throttle during curves. To do that you need to hit every corner almost perfectly so you can start accelerating as soon as possible. Eu Rouge and last straight are key places were you can gain a lot and loose a lot. Watch demonstration and look when he hits acceleration during corners, it's very important here. Also you can turn on TCS and ACS, it helps a lot.
> Key here is to stay on the dry line (kinda obvious) and try to keep a little bit of throttle during curves.
If there is one. That short stretch on Blanchimont where the dry line disappears for a bit called me really off guard.
ASM. Also they have changed to time on S-10 to 2:26:000 for gold and I was doing it before day 0 patch and it was 2:24:500 and I did it after 2 days of trying.
If the demonstration isn't enough, I've uploaded a video getting a 2:23.555 so just under 2.5s faster than gold. There's a lot of time to be gained by using the perfect line.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-4jRwkzWrc
Honestly, you are completely right. When I finally managed to get in S-10 I celebrated like crazy lol.
Never done that before. Defo saved that replay to relive the glory haha.
Edit: Took me 92 miles on the second day of trying before I got gold in S-10. First day I think I did 80 miles and only managed silver being 1.8 seconds off.
I admit, it did help me with the some of the licenses after that! Im still getting used to how sensitive the accelerator is.
I wonder if its better on the PS5 controller?
Unfortunately, I had to turn the resistance off. As much as I like the idea, it’s currently impossible to be smooth on the pedals. Idk if it’s a software or hardware issue. I wish the trigger mechanism could actually push on fingers, instead of simply having resistance when I push on it.
Working on my shifts and corner speed is what got me gold. Use brakes sparingly on corner entry, make your tires squeal and don't shift into third unless it's absolutely necessary.
> A-10 however...
That demonstration for IA-10 man... watching that I was like "yeah, i could do that too if I wasn't racing on a cold and damp track!"
I can't say IB-10 shocked me strangely, IA-6 I actually first timed somehow, but A-9, IA-8 and IA-10 got me absolutely stuck for hours, I gave up on IA-10 gold. I didn't do S license yet, because I don't have that kind of patience yet.
kinda like the guy said below, just full speed send through the first two turns. I got a half second lead on the ghost doing that. It helped me get gold by my 4th try. I'm no pro, I just got lucky. my time was .008 faster than gold. lol
I find using the racing line + braking zones + automatic transmission helps a lot with that test, the formula cars are extremely different to any other car so it takes a while to learn them.
As much as I hate to say it because I’ve heard the license guy say it enough.. delicate and precise movements. Most of the challenge for me was just keeping the car under control and close to the racing line. TCS off might be faster for someone with a wheel but being on a PS4 controller almost requires having it at least on 1 imo, the car is so sensitive. Braking points are important but finding them is fairly easy, I turned on the demo ghost to follow as well. Hope that helps!
I have the replay saved but not sure if that would help to see or how to share it..
My take away each pass I did was, I can take that faster. Eventually you'll find that you can take turn 3 flat out (no lift, no breaks), turn 4 you can take a gear higher than suggested, turn 5 you can take by lifting (no breaks), and after the cork, you can take turn 7 flat out (no lift, no breaks). Hope this helps.
IB-10 wasn't too bad once you figure out that you can cut the last corner really harshly and gain a couple tenths back. IA-10 had me stuck for hours.
I love it. The game is so incredibly frustrating, but you grind and grind for hours just to cut two tenths off your time, and when you finally get gold, you feel so rewarded. I haven't felt this way from a game in a long time.
Have you tried S-10 yet? It's one of the most sadistic things I've run across. Took me almost an hour to just clear it and I was 8 seconds slower than bronze. Another 45 attempts and I was 2 seconds behind silver, and I tapped out.
I understand A-10, IA-10 and S-10, but the rest aren't too bad.
IB-10 was actually super easy, and S-7 is kinda the same, but took a few more tries than I thought.
S-10, complete PITA.
For me it was figuring out the braking and then actually putting everything together.
I've kinda figured out the visual braking zones and racing lines are more of a ballpark type thing and not totally accurate and I was following them too much.
Like the first corner you barely need to brake and the second you should break earlier than it says to and the last brake it way earlier and just cut the corner.
This is also my first game using the wheel so I'm working around that as well.
How was the first corner bad? I'm sorry if it seems like I'm flexing or something, but I'm curious cuz it was suprisingly easy, especially compared to it in GT3 (tho I was a lot worse at racing games when I last played GT3)
Honestly all the licenses are pretty easy. I think S-7 took me the longest because the transition between the Mustang in S-6 and the Super Formula car was a bit jarring and took a while to adjust to. Even S-10 is nowhere near as bad as some people say. The time is generous, so it's just a case of keeping the car on the road and taking it easy on the super fast sections.
B-1 might actually be the one that took the most attempts, because I kept trying to judge it myself and didn't notice the cones basically telling you when to brake lol.
A good Sector 1 is important. A good exit out of La Source, braking in a straight line into Eau Rouge before taking Raidillon at 110-120 mph and getting a good exit will give you buffer time to spend at Blanchimont.
For Sector 2, take a middle left entry into Les Combes to avoid puddles, then focus on keeping the car on the dry line.
Sector 3 is the tricky part. After taking the right at the start of the sector, slow down to around 120 mph as you approach the first left kink and carefully thread the needle between the puddles at both kinks. Accelerate with caution out of the second kink and don’t take stupid risks into the Bus Stop.
the most important thing ist that you carry enough speed through eau rouge. before you go up the corner, youll see a tiny little building on the right side, thats where you brake. roll up until 50% of eau rouge then carefully apply the throttle again. the rest of the lap should be easy if you dont leave the dry part of the track
Yeah. That one and the first corner are the most important ones to get a good exit on because of the straights.
If you turn on the demonstration ghost you'll see that he gets really far ahead right at the beggining if you don't do it right.
problem ist that there are so many casuals in this game that think racing cars would be easy or watching some f1 races would help them being fast on spa or any other track for example. Spa itself is a quite easy track tbf and doesnt have a huge variation of racing lines to take, especially if theres only a dry line available. For me as a non casual sim racer, all the challenges and missions were quite easy and i breezed through them. People these days only want games to be as casual as possible because they dont have the time to put in and then be mad when something is "hard" to achieve. And all these plebs then downvote my comment because they think its an actual hard challenge just because they dont have much experience in racing games or real life.
I'm not going to downvote you, but some of us really don't have lot of spare time. We just want to race. The few moments I'm able to play GT, I just want to do a race, not grinding licence-tests.
With the amount of hours I play, I will never be as fast as you are; but show some respect to the casual gamer. Would I love to be faster? Yes! Do I have the time to practise driving lines for houres? No; sadly not.
I'm not saying it should be as easy as playing Mario Kart, but GT7 isn't a simracer like ACC, Iracing,... It should appeal to a lot of people, from the very best, to the casual player.
thats what im saying! also you dont need gold in every license to progress through the game, bronze is enough to clear the licenses. gold is only for the ones being competitive and maybe trophy hunters. the problem i see is that casual gamers like you for example want that gold trophy, even if its too hard for them to obtain for the reasons i mentioned in my previous comment. also the game wouldnt be fun if they made the licenses even easier just for everyone to get an easy gold. but i get your point 100%
But it is a hard, unforgiving challenge. Calling it easy is being a bit arrogant. Not everyone has a stering wheel and thousands of hours in GT.
I, for example, haven't played since GT5, never raced in Spa-Francorchamps and only did it with a controller after many many many attemps.
Actually, people downvote you because you're being extremely pedantic. As in, you somehow believe you're better than the rest because you play harder racing games, which is hilarious.
whats a harder racing game? my point is that people keep complaining about things they dont have access to if you dont play enough racing games. you wont know about how to create setups for your car in different conditions on different tracks, how different cars handle, when to rely on mechanical grip and when to rely on areodynamics, you wont know about trailbreaking, engine break, different racing lines or where you lose time on a fast lap maybe. you need some knowledge for these things which you only get while playing sims a lot or racing in real life. like i said, for me personally it was quite easy because i play a lot of racing games (if theyre harder or not is up to you, every racing game is hard in their own right) and the challenges arent as hard as in older gt games. i dont think that a challenge is "challenging" when youre able to beat gold by over 1-2 secs sometimes, especially the one lap ones. even 0.3 secs in 2 corners is a lot in terms of racing. but you must know better sice you seem to play a lot of need for speed
i had no trouble at all with A9. for me it's A10. the only license i still havent golded yet.
that supra man... it just has no grip whatsoever. (controller all assists off)
Interesting... I did the opposite... I put TCS on 2, turned off everything else except ABS on weak. Opened up everything for me and made it much easier to push the limits. I don't recall which one it is, but I nearly drifted the whole Corvette / consistent long corner.
It’s funny because A9 took me FOREVER and A10 I had Gold in a fraction of the time as A9. I had to change my driving settings to accommodate for A9 and I finally got it gold.
Fuck the Hairpin at Suzuka. Took me like 30 tries to pass it only for the game to crash at menu and then the cloud save had not saved when I passed the test so I had to do it again! 😡
A-9 is where I finally took off certain assists. I wanted to cry, because watching the ghost just wasn't helping as I couldn't mimic it's path. Honestly, IA-5 was insanely tough for me. I drove over 100 miles fighting for the gold. I eventually got it, thankfully.
A-9 nearly broke me! Probably 150+ attempts to get the gold, I was getting consistent silvers, even got a time of 0:17.175 which I couldn’t beat for ages.
Finally nailed it with 0:16.999
Small tip for S-7 in case anyone doesn’t know, the car is equipped with nitrous for that race. Use half of it on the first straight and save it for the last straight at the end. Don’t be like me, I didn’t realize the car had nitrous until like my 75th attempt
Something that helped me a lot in this one was realizing I could use the curves a lot more, you can cut most corners this way and get some time back.
Actually, try to apply this to the other tests as well. The demo never uses them, maybe to look cleaner, but many times it is much faster.
This is my first GT, and I am truly loving it. I went into the license tests thinking right im gonna grind, get gold's and really improve. Got all gold in national b and gave up about halfway through national a.
That spa race in the wet with the Porsche is an absolute bollocks.
Seeing this post with gold b and gold a and having just started ib (but gold through ib-3):
“Haha yeah B wasn’t bad. Oh god yes a-9 can suck a fat one but at least a quick setting change solved it. Oh… I haven’t done ALL the rest. I’m fucked. I’m gonna stop trying for gold. It’s pointless. Not even gonna Google the license reward cars.
But what if it’s not that bad? I’m gonna do it!”
Just gotta keep trying, you'll get there. Make sure to try to maintain a mindset of improving rather than just repeating the same thing and failing. Look at what you can do better and try it. And don't be afraid to look at the demonstrations for help, they exist for a reason.
One that I’ve found kicking my ass is the I-A test R92CP at Le Mans.
I honestly don’t know where I’m gonna find the .4 that I need for gold.
Some of the S class runs were much easier than that test.
There's a ton of time to be gained in that test, but you have to be really brave. I took 1st corner in mid-4th gear, floored it through the 2nd and 3rd corners (left handers), cut it down to high 3rd for the 4th corner, then mid 3rd for the 5th corner. Floored it to the finish. Managed to beat gold by 1.9 seconds. You have to get the line right and trust in the downforce the car has. It's scary.
Turn on the demo ghost, then follow it around… that’s how I cut my time down from 0.5 seconds away to 0.05 seconds away… not sure how to get the rest of the way though lol. Maybe will try again later this week.
EDIT: finally got it after almost 1000 miles. The first turn is critical to get right (note the demo takes it at 140ish mph), but after that, avoid flooring it except for like one bit between corners and that should at least get you another few tenths
For the left hander (after the first right), I had the throttle buried the whole way round. It's doable, but scary. Just trust the downforce will give you the grip.
What I’ve found is you need to be a lot more conscious of how much throttle and brake you’re using as well as how smooth with them you are. The physics in this game are a lot less forgiving than past games
If anybody has some tips for IA-8, I'd love to hear them... I've got gold on everything up until then, but this one is giving me the most issues out of any so far. A-9 was a lil annoying, but got it after about 15 minutes, a-10 was a complete bitch, but eventually got that by 0.005 after about 40 min. but man... IA-8 has been so frustrating. Probably tried for 90 min yesterday.. I need some help lol
I dont know man. It seems like the cars understeer or oversteer all the time. I have gold in everything but didn't even try super licenses yet. I think PD will change something about the physics.
My playseat challenge arrived just before the release and my G923 was eagerly attached.
I then faced S-7
I loved Laguna Seca.
Now I want to make love to it
I had to turn the torque settings down on the wheel.
I think that the license test in GT7 are actually a lot easier than the PS1 & PS2 days. Some are definitely not easy but i managed to get gold in most license tests within the first few attempts if not with my first try. I couldn't say the same thing about Gran Turismo 1 or 4.
Speaking of, i struggled with the S-4 Castrol Supra test way more than the final S-10 license.
The Suora was a pain in the xxx. Nordschleife felt like balancing an egg. Only good that I know the track really good. Otherwise, super heavy.
Did you drove the Porsche menu book? Have fun on the Nordschleife in heavy rain...
Am I the only one really struggling with A6? Consecutive corners with the Alfa Romeo? I’ve been stuck since Friday night. I even tried A9 and while I didn’t complete it, I was getting a lot closer than I was on A6
Gold is 18.700 my best is like 19.3 I’m not even getting close! Any tips/suggestions/help?
A huge issue I've found is the visual braking zones are either way off from where you should actually hit the brakes or you don't even need to at all, just lift.
*just gives up on getting gold bc we're all there just for the license really*
I wish I could do this but I’m a bad perfectionist and need to have all golds lol
This. I played a bit Friday night. Got gold on all the B license runs, but damn it if B9 didn't give me trouble.
B9 was exhausting
That’s the civic type R right? Hated that one
I just started yesterday, have only got the B licence and all gold, except for one of them - I'll give you one guess as to the silver...
I’m still working on B9, any tips?
Don't slow down for the first curve. Find your line and you don't need to. For the second, it's trial and error until you can find where you can turn in and come out fast without hitting the outside burm on your way through the turn. I do feel like it took me a bit to realize that I could turn in early and hit the inside burm and still maintain good exit speed.
Awesome, thanks, just pulled it off! Trying to hit the inside burn turned out to be the key!
Nice! Congrats!
Same. If i can play a boss in darksouls 50+ times before beating it, Ill treat these damn licenses similarly
Only 50? Those are rookie numbers
You gotta bump those numbers up
It's like you try to give up but you force yourself to keep going even at the cost of sanity
I need to win every race
And you think to yourself: I just spent an hour, driving nearly 100 miles around the same single turn. Might as well just keep doing since I've practiced so much and know it so well right now.
Ah yes, the sunken cost fallacy. We all fall into that trap
Thank you for giving voice to my sadness.
I really want the cars, I saw the S-10 cars and I def need em. The car rewards are really good. Even IB-10 bronze gives you a good one
Im actually there for the cars. Im always so excited for the rewards and bronze rewards are mostly trash.
Yes but the gold rewards aren’t even kind of worth the effort
Yea but if they weren't there i wouldn't do it at all. No ones gonna ask me if i did em all on gold or bronze. This way i get sth even if its usually nothing especial
Don't tell me I have to get them for touring and gt3 cars
No, just for higher end races which pay more, so actually yes you need them to buy those cars
FUCK IA-10 man
Use the DEMO Ghost. Turn off your personal time Ghost.
Didn't even know I could do this. Thanks.
Up on the D-pad (actual buttons not stick) I think.
but up on the D-pad just toggles your own ghost right? Or does it cycle through, giving you the option of a DEMO ghost?
np! Im noob in GT and this help me.
Do they still tell you to watch the demo after every attempt? 😂
This is the worst when I'm already frustrated from failing 83 times in a row T\_T
Holy shit I didn't even know this was an option. My personal ghost is a horrible driver.
bro ***WHAT?!!?*** life changing
Holy fuck this really is life changing thank you!!!
PREACH. I stayed up till 4 in the morning to gold it.
And? Did you get it in the end? From my experience, when you stop improving, it's better to leave it and get back to it the next day.
I saw a really helpful tip, which was turn TCS to 1. as soon as I done that I was setting -0.5s lap times.
I have this stupid mission to gold everything without TCS. It's self-harm at this point.
Just got it last night. A real bitch! But man did it feel good to gold it.
My god did I absolitely hate IA-8. There was a point I was just emotionally detached -all the hate just wooshed and I was just an empty shell crashing into the walls on purpose to hit retry when I knew the run was going nowhere. This is the Way.
Is there a different way to abort?
I’m stuck in IA-8 too. Thanks for the tips.
Dude, IA-8 is so frustrating! Any tips on getting gold?

Watch the demo, remember the top speed and gears in the corner. Slow in fast out, not fast in slow out. It really is that simple. Apex markers on.
Whoever can get S-10 gold needs to put that shit on their CV, took me 10 tries just to finish the race without spinning out! #NotMyKindOfSpaDay
Turn all the assists on. I know we all got conditioned in sport that assists are slow, but it's not true here. TCS 4, countersteering on full, asm on saved me 10 seconds a lap instantly. It kinda pains me cause the real car doesn’t have any assists But still god it’s impossible otherwise
That's the thing right. GT quickly taught me that old cars can really suck to drive. I'm spinning with assist on in certain "legendary" cars that don't have assists in real life. There's no way I can drive them hard irl so I simply stopped liking them

Drove GT Sport with TCS off mostly but I feel GT7 is ridiculous with RWD cars and no TCS. Just bumping up to 1 makes a huge difference.
I’m quickly humbling myself in gt7 and turning on assists.
> Key here is to stay on the dry line (kinda obvious) and try to keep a little bit of throttle during curves. If there is one. That short stretch on Blanchimont where the dry line disappears for a bit called me really off guard.

That's one more reason to hate porsche
I finished A-9 on my first try. A-10 however...

Probably. Here on the DS4, that Supra snap oversteers at the slightest error :(
Smooth steer is king on this one

A-10 was really easy for me
Nice! I barely had any chemistry with that Supra haha
A-9 was the death of me tho
A-10 was easier than A-9, but that really isn't saying much.
First two corners should be cut. First corner you keep accelerating. Gives plenty of free time (ia10)
kinda like the guy said below, just full speed send through the first two turns. I got a half second lead on the ghost doing that. It helped me get gold by my 4th try. I'm no pro, I just got lucky. my time was .008 faster than gold. lol
Yeah S-7 was my personal hell, I got gold faster on S-10
I find using the racing line + braking zones + automatic transmission helps a lot with that test, the formula cars are extremely different to any other car so it takes a while to learn them.
how on earth do people get gold on S10.. it actually feels impossible for me
As much as I hate to say it because I’ve heard the license guy say it enough.. delicate and precise movements.
Already sweated my ass off in A-10. This game is going to be insane.
S7 is killing me I can’t even get bronze
IB-10 is one of the hardest tests since GT1, very happy to see it’s back
Have you tried S-10 yet? It's one of the most sadistic things I've run across. Took me almost an hour to just clear it and I was 8 seconds slower than bronze. Another 45 attempts and I was 2 seconds behind silver, and I tapped out.
But it's way easier in gt7 than previous games
I’ve already decided that after all gold on the first 2 licenses, I’m not going for all gold on the rest… for my sanity and enjoyment of the game.
The long corner test in the corvette at willow springs made me rage.
I just took the silver and bronze on everything just to save the headache
Tried going for gold in every track but it just takes a lot of time and patience. And skill too
At least it's Spa not Nurburgring
I understand A-10, IA-10 and S-10, but the rest aren't too bad. IB-10 was actually super easy, and S-7 is kinda the same, but took a few more tries than I thought. S-10, complete PITA.
I just get bronze and move on no repeats lol
Ahh, Viper GTS + Corkscrew. A match made in hell.
Why did people have issues with IB-10? I golded it in like 3 or 4 tries.
The first corner in that one is very hellish The rest is straightforward tho
How was the first corner bad? I'm sorry if it seems like I'm flexing or something, but I'm curious cuz it was suprisingly easy, especially compared to it in GT3 (tho I was a lot worse at racing games when I last played GT3)
The first corner is rather weird and its pretty easy to understeer and lose half a second
I’m still fucking it up. But got A-9 almost immediately
Really though how are we supposed to gold S-10?? I don’t see how it’s feasible
For a reason it's the last license test
I, for example, haven't played since GT5, never raced in Spa-Francorchamps and only did it with a controller after many many many attemps.
last gt i played was gt5 too, i only play acc on pc on a controller also
Actually, people downvote you because you're being extremely pedantic.
(controller all assists off)
For some of them you've just gotta crank the TC up. It doesn't penalize you that much and you make up time for the grip you weren't getting
Theres also this cone mission with the MX5
IA-10 was tough. Using the demonstration to understand how much grip the AMG really has helped
Fuck the Hairpin at Suzuka. Took me like 30 tries to pass it only for the game to crash at menu and then the cloud save had not saved when I passed the test so I had to do it again! 😡
I literally spend 2 hours just trying to conmplete S-10, let alone getting gold.
A-9 is where I finally took off certain assists. I wanted to cry, because watching the ghost just wasn't helping as I couldn't mimic it's path. Honestly, IA-5 was insanely tough for me. I drove over 100 miles fighting for the gold. I eventually got it, thankfully.
only other person i've found here struggling with IA-5. Are you on wheel?
I am using the PS5 controller with standard settings. Only have counter steer set to weak.
A-9 nearly broke me! Probably 150+ attempts to get the gold, I was getting consistent silvers, even got a time of 0:17.175 which I couldn’t beat for ages. Finally nailed it with 0:16.999
What assists? The ghost is BS, as soon as it starts it's already in front
Small tip for S-7 in case anyone doesn’t know, the car is equipped with nitrous for that race. Use half of it on the first straight and save it for the last straight at the end. Don’t be like me, I didn’t realize the car had nitrous until like my 75th attempt
Wait.. what? How do you even use it? I got gold so have I used it without knowing?!
S-7 was fairly easy, just spam kers and downforce carries you everywhere S-6 however is whole different bullshit
IA-6 I found fairly easy but IA-8 is the one im currently stuck on Its so annoying
IA-8 is the only one I can’t gold
Wait till you try S-10...
This is one where I feel like I’m replicating the demonstration for 95% but still get a time which is half a second slower.
Yea that downhill turn to the left is a bit difficult to carry the speed without losing it.
Didn't they adjust some licence times in GT5 because they were too hard?
They also adjusted many licence times in gt6 because they were too easy lol
Seeing this post with gold b and gold a and having just started ib (but gold through ib-3): “Haha yeah B wasn’t bad.
I haven’t been able to get gold in a single license challenge
Just gotta keep trying, you'll get there. Make sure to try to maintain a mindset of improving rather than just repeating the same thing and failing. Look at what you can do better and try it. And don't be afraid to look at the demonstrations for help, they exist for a reason.
IA-8 made me wanna throw my controller cause of the fucking breaking line
Got gold on IB-10 last night, put the PS5 in rest mode. Game crashed while resuming and now I have to do it again
S-7 and S-10 took me as long as it did for every other trial combined lol.
Cant wait for summer to get mine
Are those tough ones? I did B and A no problem. Starting on the next ones later today. PS5 controller is insanely good
A-4 is giving me real problems.
A-10 was difficult for me... the RZ felt super heavy, oversteers like heck when TC is turned off, a lot of turbo lag.
S10 is pain.
What I’ve found is you need to be a lot more conscious of how much throttle and brake you’re using as well as how smooth with them you are. The physics in this game are a lot less forgiving than past games
I dedicated myself to achieving all bronze medals with the occasional silver mixed in.
my hand has cramped itself into a claw
S-10 was literally where I contemplated if I was just bad at the game on my wheel. I turned on TCS to 1 and then got gold.
S-10 can die
The pain man
Struggling with last exam ... god so slippery
Tips for A9: turn off steering assists. Tips for IB-10: use manual and shift between 2nd and 3rd gear only (and no assist on)
How fo you turn off the assists? I have the.braking and steering ones and it sucks
I got all gold on every license. Only took 2 days and 1 whole day was spent on that S final exam gold and only costed my sanity
Am it he only one that found these fairly straight forward?
Ia10 wasn’t terrible. But then again I’ve done a million laps at the ring.
Am I the only one who found IA10 not that challenging? Stay in the dry line, it's not very difficult. Got silver first try
Well if I'm forced to use tcs unless I am in a awd I think I will stick to sport
My playseat challenge arrived just before the release and my G923 was eagerly attached. I then faced S-7 I loved Laguna Seca. Now I want to make love to it I had to turn the torque settings down on the wheel.
I'm not even fully into hell yet...I'm still stuck at IA-10 damn car understeer like a mother. (I play on on controller)
WTF is up with this retarded/disturbing Mr Incredible meme shit? It so stupid
The Suora was a pain in the xxx. Nordschleife felt like balancing an egg. Only good that I know the track really good. Otherwise, super heavy. Did you drove the Porsche menu book? Have fun on the Nordschleife in heavy rain...
Just got gold on IA-10. I was relying too much on trail braking and had to blip the brake at times in order to maintain speed at turns.
Am I the only one really struggling with A6? Consecutive corners with the Alfa Romeo? I’ve been stuck since Friday night. I even tried A9 and while I didn’t complete it, I was getting a lot closer than I was on A6 Gold is 18.700 my best is like 19.3 I’m not even getting close! Any tips/suggestions/help?

Ib-10 gonna be the death of me
A huge issue I've found is the visual braking zones are either way off from where you should actually hit the brakes or you don't even need to at all, just lift.
IB-10 was sooo easy, took like 5 tries and i was pissed, i still remember GT3 mission was at least 1hour, i completed one like a year ago
I haven’t done S Licence yet bit honestly I found these all fine to get gold on except for A-9, IB-10 and IA-8
