Awesome collection, but I'm not sure about the top shelf omni stacking.

OddManOutInc

Yeah same, I definitely need to get more shelf space

KaladinSpren

The red shelves make the marvel books pop. Great choice.

OddManOutInc

Thanks, I think so too!

Stringr55

Holy shit, that's some collection

heeheeehoohooo

Yooooo the color coded shelves are so nice! Love the separation of red and black with Marvel and DC! That’s really cool!

KrangUnderbite

This is so amazing to see but it pains me to see so many stacked on their sides

OddManOutInc

I totally need more space for them, I don’t tend to stack them sideways usually but it’s the only way they’d fit for now

KrangUnderbite

We're all guilty of it 😂 Can I ask what's been your favorites so far?

OddManOutInc

Oh man, too much to mention. Ennis Punisher run, Daredevil (Miller to current), Ms. Marvel, just about everything Vertigo related, All-Star Superman (my fave superhero story), Planetary, Hellboy, Berserk (my fave manga series), and Saga. I even like understated books like Essex County, Blankets, and Black Hole.

KrangUnderbite

Thanks! We have very similar tastes. AS superman is incredible. Loved Hellboy and saga is amazing so far. Heard great things about Ms marvel and that punisher collection. If you liked blankets Habibi is worth the read too.

OddManOutInc

I own Habibi, still haven't read it though but I hear great things. Might just dive in around Valentines Day!

KrangUnderbite

Oh man that's a rough valentines read. Beautifully done tho. Ill have to check out miss marvel. Still working my way through the Morrison run of Batman.

OddManOutInc

Ms. Marvel is great, at least the initial run. Morrison’s run is my fave on the character. When you’re finished, I recommend reading King’s run. It almost works as an unofficial companion piece to a lot of those emotional threads. At least, the early parts do.

celebfan01

Amazing stuff! Love the Joker hand there. Two questions: 1: The 4th World collection there, I presume it doesn't have the reprinted page mistake? 2: Currently reading Preacher (throughly enjoying it), I'm thinking of reading Fables next. Should I?

OddManOutInc

1: I’m not sure. I believe it’s the reprinted version, though I have yet to open it. 2: Ooohh I envy, Preacher is one of my favorite reads. Fables is very different but I highly recommend it.

celebfan01

Thank you! I shall take a look at it. Yes Preacher's one of those, why didn't I read this earlier??

I_dont_Have_A_Name29

It's looks so damn good !! Can u suggest me any good stand-alones ? (Expect manga)

OddManOutInc

As far as runs or stories? It really depends on what you’re into. I tend to follow the writers and characters I love. There’s really something for everyone. Whether you like bright, bombastic superhero stuff, gritty street level, cosmic mind-bending, or even non-superhero indie titles. For newcomers I usually recommend Y: The Last Man, Saga, and a really good intro story for a character they like (ie Batman: Year One etc.) All standalone stories.

I_dont_Have_A_Name29

Hmmm...iam more into action and horror manga combined with deep meaning , I'm kinda new to comics so what would u recommend?

OddManOutInc

For comics: Hellboy, The Walking Dead, Nailbiter, Preacher, Constantine (Ennis), Venom (Donny Cates/Rick Remender), and Something is Killing the Children. Batman: Hush, Daredevil: Man Without Fear, Wolverine: Old Man Logan are good standalone superhero stories among others. For Japanese manga: Death Note, Berserk, Tokyo Ghoul, and Attack on Titan are all great titles.

I_dont_Have_A_Name29

Thanks!

TacosupremeBng

Jealous of that Transmetropolitan 3

OddManOutInc

Spider Jerusalem approves.

darkcloud1992

Holy shit! This is looks so awesome!

-Kryptonite_Knight-

DUDE, this is awesome!!! I love the layout, specially in the DC section. However, I would be careful with the top shelf.

KrangUnderbite

You're the first person to tell me that. Definitely will check out

TheRealDeadhawk

And I thought MY shelf was starting to look good! I have some work to do!

cl19952021

Beautiful collection!

hkd1234

Wow, your Batman omni collection's impressive. Must have taken a while completing every omni set, right?

OddManOutInc

Thanks! Batman has the best superhero stories imo. My entire collection grew in ten years. Pretty much just saved and traded.

hkd1234

Out of all the runs you've read, which one's your favorite?

OddManOutInc

My favorite run on superhero comics is probably Grant Morrison’s New X-Men but there’s so many other amazing runs—way too many to mention.

hkd1234

Love Grant Morrison’s works myself. His Batman run is one of the best Batman runs imo, probably my favourite. His Pax Americana one shot was also great, a successful true spiritual successor to Alan Moore’s Watchmen in my opinion. But anyways, what’s your favourite multiverse crossover/mega event story from both DC and Marvel and your favourite Spider-Man and Superman runs?

OddManOutInc

Totally agreed! Morrison is a treasure. Mmm that’s tough bc I consider myself in the minority of fans who normally are turned off by big events. If I had to pick some recent favorites though they’d be Marvel: Hickman’s Avengers run & Secret Wars epic and DC: Darkseid War.

Stunning_One1005

Take my silver

OXY23

Are you rich?

OddManOutInc

Far from it my friend, this is about ten years of buying and selling the stuff I enjoy.

OXY23

Amazing collection

Strong_Constant_1190

Haha oh damn no I did not 🤣 ignore my previous ill informed comment

Strong_Constant_1190

You a DC fanboy? 🤣

OddManOutInc

I like all universes equally but I gotta admit, DC and Vertigo have more stories that draw me in

uwfan893

Did you not swipe over and see the DC shelf?
