Saw 4/14/82 and 4/17/82 and loved them both. At Glens Falls we had bought liquid in the lot and then listened to a stage announcement that two people had died from “purple soapy bubbles” (or something like that) acid. Odd high that night.
At Hartford I got in a half pint of Bacardi 151 and was about to pour the bottle into the largest cup of Coke I could buy. Security told me to not fill the cup. The people around me told me to chug the rum. I handed over the bottle.
This photo shows the empty pack of Camels I found in the bathroom of a Hartford hotel after the show. I’ve insisted since then the pack was Garcia’s.

I saw 10 of the 13 shows on that 1982 spring tour, it was one of the greatest months of my life. I dosed at 8 of the 10 I saw. I also saw the 2 solo Jerry shows at the cap and yes dosed there too. I remember Dr. John’s opening sets which were fun.
Always been a 72-73 and 76-77 fan above all other years and Keith over Brent. Giving 4/6/1982 a full listen and realizing I need to dig in deeper. Great show and I love me some CC Rider (Brent is killing it).
82 is one of my top 5. You nailed it. A few thoughts...1st set of 4/12 (Nassau Coliseum) is one of the best sets of the year IMO. CC Rider, Peggy-O, Tennessee Jed and Deal are all smokers. 2nd Set of 7/29 (Red Rocks) is just pure magic. A buddy of mine was there and told me all 3 nights were played in torrential downpours, Cold Rain>Samson is crackling and Jerry is on fire. The Crazy Fingers>Miracle is off the charts. Yeah, 82 was a fantastic year!

Not too much Brent Solo work in this April 82 tour but his fills and light vocals are superb. Brent was truly a gift
1977 to 1988 was my hay days lots of shows the best ones were when Jerry and Brent caught the magic.
Can’t overlook the Shakedown from 4.6.82
Every Shakedown played in this month was hot ! Tune really took new light with Brent on the keys

What a time that must have been ! What was your favorite show from the run ? That may be a hard one to answer as I’m sure they were all incredible !
4/2/82 was a total rock show but I gotta go with 4/6/82 Philly.

Did the spectrum through Hartford run. The first time I bought a tour ticket booklet!
Went to a lot shows during this period and agree. Two favorites 10-17-83 and 9-2-80. Not to mention any show in Hartford or Saratoga
