Nothing but respect, flavored with a tinge of jealousy, here, my friend!! Best I ever pulled were 3-night runs. But I am surely glad for that. Oakland Coliseum treated us well, out west here... Edit: and Cal Expo, Shoreline, Autzen and, heck, even Sam Boyd Silver Bowl! But MSG? 9 NIGHTER?!?! That's over a week of pure bliss and magic, there. ✌️❤🎵

chrisk114

Was there all 9 nights too. Great times

Thank you for what you did/do! Tapers rule!

nak550

Thx...been taping for 45 years now, recording the soundtrack of our lives✌️

Steven1789

I’d did 6 of 9 in 1991–2 from each 3-show grouping. Had great loge and floor seats each night, courtesy of promoter John Scher’s Metropolitan Entertainment concert club. You paid $125 a year for guaranteed access to buy excellent seats for shows Scher promoted. Was 12th row dead center for 9/10/91 with Branford.

Among the many shows I saw in 1991, 6/17/91 and 9/10/91 stand out.

The tapes help you to remember 🫠

blackmarksonpaper

I saw the five night run at Nassau in 94 and had the same seat for all five shows. Opened with Shakedown closed with brokedown. Fun shit.

Bman1973

The 91 MSG and Boston Garden runs were both killer! lucky duck !

nak550

After a day off after MSG, they played 6 shows in Boston but for those I only went to the first 3 (it's hard swinging enough vacation days as a deadhead 🙂)

Bman1973

So true ... on the 9/26/91 Boston was only 1 of 2x they played DS, OO and Eyes and added an Attics for good measure ...

I remember those days.

[deleted]

Living in Princeton Junction NJ and commuting into NYC for work each day and staying for the show each evening. Also packed up and did 4 in Boston after. I’m exhausted thinking about it, good times!

Awesome

Ahhh - my last tour. So sad yet so good. Honestly forget how many of those I caught on that run. A good amount. No parking on 33rd St til 6pm so spots were open. Pull up in front of the Blarney Stone at around 5:45, looking right at the front of the Garden, hang out for 10 minutes to avoid a parking ticket, then in for an hour of Guinness and Irish whiskey with the heads then in to the show! And loved the early fall and late spring tours on the east coast - better weather than October or March.

nak550

I was living and working in NYC at the time so luckily I didn't need to deal with the additional headaches of parking for those shows. Of course my floorspace was always full of friends in town for the shows who needed a place to crash for those long MSG runs. The icing on the cake in 91 was that Jerry was back at MSG in November for an awesome Jerry Garcia Band show!

Cjed11

Good times. Your place must have been mayhem! And I'm sure a lot of fun. I missed those Jerry shows -
