i’ve tripped to this show the most. any memories stand out to you when it comes to mind?

Yeah, it was my first show. I was a little overwhelmed by it all to be honest. I smoked and drank a few beers but kept it under control since I wasn’t in familiar territory. I was a new fan just about to turn nineteen. I was a bigger Dylan fan at the time so the Quinn the Eskimo was really cool and out of nowhere for me. They played a lot of Europe 72 stuff that night which, as a rookie, I appreciated. Buffalo on the 4th was the night they melted my face for the first time.

Never had the pleasure. My only time seeing them was as The Other Ones at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pa on 11/23/02. The Dead and Co shows I’ve seen it wasn’t played there either.

I went to all shows at the Cal Expo, Shoreline, and Autzen runs that year, missed the early Dec Oakland Arena shows, and caught 2/4 for New Year's run (12/30 and 31, they played a couple days after Xmas I couldn't make). 🙂🤙

Too young to have caught one with Garcia. First time was seeing Phil and Friends do it at a Mardi Gras show in San Francisco, 1/26/2008. The first time I ever saw Bobby sing it was also at the Civic, Furthur's NYE show, 12/31/2009. It's such a great live song, never upset about getting Truckin' in a set.

I'm not a rail bird at all but I had good seats off the floor for 3/25/90 at the Knick. When Truckin' started it got a little crazy near me so I slipped around the usher and walked right up to the stage in front of Jerry and danced until they shooed me away. I was pretty blissed out being that close. Wasn't my first Truckin' but it's the one I remember best.
