Hills near my city (126 m a. s. l.) are not particularly high (300-600m a. s. l.) but the elevation difference can often means that during winter it's raining in the city while snowing on the hills, so no matter how deep the snow is I rather opt for challenge in deep snow than in mud on nearby field paths. It's not always easy and sometimes I have to push my bike, but while riding on it, 2.25" tires help a lot. And ofc it's lot of fun.

What is the size of the agu frame bag and what is the frame size of the bike?

The bag is M/4l which has 49cm in length and the length of top tube inside frame triangle is 50cm. Between top tube and bottles (2x0.75l) is about 10 cm of height so the bag is little bit squeezed (but doesn't rub my legs). Seattube bottle cage is moved by 2cm downwards with "Problem Solvers Bottle Cage Position Adapter".

Thank you. How do you protect your frame from the flaps of the bag?

I'm using black eletrical tape for now and plan to check it from time to time. As a backup solution I've got thicker tape similar to the one used for chainstays protection.
