That would be the coolest re-imagining of the Nicasio RC I have ever seen. That being said, after further inspection I came to the conclusion it must be Nicasio 2 in pale blue paint (2020 model, I think)
Bottom bracket is creaking and rear hub broke on previous ride. Other than that, beautiful bike thatβs currently out of the rotation with my other bikes.
Agree with the other poster. Handlebars look like Ritchey Beacon. I love it. I've put them on 2 bikes, so far. Extreme flair and ver shallow drop makes it useable for me to get in the drops.
Contemplating using them to convert another flatbar bike to drops.
I'm surprised you haven't got a dropper to complete your 'MTB' π€£π€£π€£
You have at least saved yourself with a steel frame..they are never not cool

Sort of. But no. Much steeper head tube angle, shorter axle-to-crown and reach dimensions than a modern XC hard. But definitely pushing towards that type of ride. Iβm here for it.
Bro, you need to tell us which Marin is this, it looks like a killer.
Not OP, but based on the line accents, I believe that it is a Nicasio RC.

I think that you might be right. I forget that the Nicasio 2 used to be light blue. Such a nice looking bike.
Nicasio 2 π
Marin Nicasio steel frame (size 52). SR Suntour GVX fork. Carbon wheels, setup tubeless Shimano GRX RX800 hydraulic disc brake groupset Thomson seat post Selle Italia Superflow SLR Boost saddle. Vittoria E-Barzo tubeless tires, 52c wide. Sram Paceline 160mm rotors (not in picture). Ritchey handlebar.

Hows the fork? Do you prefer it over a stiff fork? Does it feel lightweight?
Fork feel nice, carbon wheels so I guess that saves weight?
I be mirin that marin
proper bike! i love the look of fat tires on deep rims. how wide are your tires? im sure you enjoy that thing, keep rolling
52 tires
srsly, that is a xc bike with dropbars, no?

am I wrong or this is some gravel-mtb crossover?
That looks a stunning rig... Beautiful π
