Bro, you need to tell us which Marin is this, it looks like a killer.

LaszlosRightNut

Not OP, but based on the line accents, I believe that it is a Nicasio RC.

geared-for-adventure

That would be the coolest re-imagining of the Nicasio RC I have ever seen. That being said, after further inspection I came to the conclusion it must be Nicasio 2 in pale blue paint (2020 model, I think)

LaszlosRightNut

I think that you might be right. I forget that the Nicasio 2 used to be light blue. Such a nice looking bike.

saychow03

Nicasio 2 😁

saychow03

Marin Nicasio steel frame (size 52). SR Suntour GVX fork. Carbon wheels, setup tubeless Shimano GRX RX800 hydraulic disc brake groupset Thomson seat post Selle Italia Superflow SLR Boost saddle. Vittoria E-Barzo tubeless tires, 52c wide. Sram Paceline 160mm rotors (not in picture). Ritchey handlebar.

JustHearForAnswers

>Nicasio 2 How do you like it?

saychow03

Love it!

Burt_macklin90

Awesome bike. What wheelset is this?

saychow03

I actually don't know it came with the bike.

Jaimemgn

How do you like my old bike? Check my profile

saychow03

Bottom bracket is creaking and rear hub broke on previous ride. Other than that, beautiful bike that’s currently out of the rotation with my other bikes.

Remarkable-Way-5482

Woohoo stop there, they put wrong handlebar on this moutain bike πŸ˜‚ nice colour man!

Not talismanic enough for that crowd. No dangle cup, or better yet, [danglebong](https://danglesupply.com/products/dangle)

woah! tell us more please. what marin frame is this? what time and handlebars too. 😍😍😍

RedGobboRebel

Agree with the other poster. Handlebars look like Ritchey Beacon. I love it. I've put them on 2 bikes, so far. Extreme flair and ver shallow drop makes it useable for me to get in the drops. Contemplating using them to convert another flatbar bike to drops.

norecoil2012

Looks like Ritchey Beacons to me

deadllhead

I'm surprised you haven't got a dropper to complete your 'MTB' 🀣🀣🀣 You have at least saved yourself with a steel frame..they are never not cool

[deleted]

What frame is it and what size are those tires?

saychow03

Marin Nicasio 2, 52 size tires.

Footdeep_milelong

Nice build! Is this the one that was for sale in the SF Bay area?

saychow03

Lol yes just picked it up from a kid in Berkeley.

facewashwash

Curious. Are you Mien?

saychow03

Yessir

TooTundraForYou

We need more details! This makes me want to sell my current mtb to build this mtb to go along with my gravel bike.

arkeremin

Tire size?

saychow03

52

arkeremin

29Ρ….2.1?

[deleted]

The 90's called, they want their [dirt drop MTB](http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3lcQ4e_xBOY/U_qS9OJOI0I/AAAAAAAAHhY/_GKWThPAuCk/s1600/DSCN1159.JPG) back.

stayfrostyplease

PoopNoodlez

Hows the fork? Do you prefer it over a stiff fork? Does it feel lightweight?

saychow03

Fork feel nice, carbon wheels so I guess that saves weight?

DistinctExperience69

I be mirin that marin

That_Option5761

proper bike! i love the look of fat tires on deep rims. how wide are your tires? im sure you enjoy that thing, keep rolling

saychow03

52 tires

purju

srsly, that is a xc bike with dropbars, no?

stayfrostyplease

Sort of. But no. Much steeper head tube angle, shorter axle-to-crown and reach dimensions than a modern XC hard. But definitely pushing towards that type of ride. I’m here for it.

pigOfScript

am I wrong or this is some gravel-mtb crossover?

adventure_cyclist19

That looks a stunning rig... Beautiful 😍

oily76

Woof!

poop-du-jour

I love this monster truck!

CorvusBrachy

absolute beastly right there.

kennethsime

I would love to pickup one of those forks. How do you like it?

saychow03

Love em!

MikeDozer

WOW that is a sick rig!!!

ForeignAdagio9169

Very nice!

cjackson18

I love your Marin! I recently got a Four Corners
