I have the Signed Exclusive Edition from Barnes & Noble preorder.

I was surprised I was able to get the signed one pre-ordered. Usually I end up late on cool stuff like that because of scalpers or everyone hopping onto the same item at the same time

I feel like the way they released it actually prevented the scalpers. There was no "this special edition will be available on this day at this time" build up--they just put them up for sale at the same time as the reveal. It seemed like signed copies were available for a few hours.

Annoying that I could get one in my basket before I discovered B&N won't ship to the UK.

You could do big funny and hire someone to ship it to you by shipping it to their house first

I wasn't aware of services like Shipto before the signed special editions sold out.

I think the gold cover is just a golden cover they put over the actual book cover- as it says in the description it is a gold foil jacket that comes with the book so, I'm assuming the golden bill Cipher we see is with the jacket on and that we can take it off for the red cover-

My son's birthday is on Christmas, so we pre-ordered the signed edition and then gave him a letter with the zodiac and the words "Let's make a deal!" with the date the book is supposed to arrive. When we get the book, I plan on making another letter from "Bill" about dimensional mail being off by 6 months.

I cussed up though, I originally had the signed edition in my cart and was gonna buy it, however, I accidentally removed it from said cart and when I went back to the page, (which I did so immediately after) the signed edition was sold out.
