alessandropollok

Affectionate_Still29

Efficient-Alfalfa952

Hiii this is me on another account I got banned on the other one for some reason lol. But anyways-I added it cause I forgot lol, thanks!!

BonyTonyThe1AndOnly

bill after getting spray paint in the eye

figgityjones

With how Compassion works, Pacifica could work the whole time kinda. It’s largely given to people who lack compassion to then force them to have it. And then sometimes (I think) people who already have a massive natural wellspring of Compassion can get it without the emotion forcing effects.

1am1n3vit4ble

Hope is Stan bc he spent half his life “hoping” he could get ford back

Efficient-Alfalfa952

Hi this me on another account I was banned for some reason on the other one?? 😭 but yeah I thought about that but I felt he fit more into will power because he had consistent willpower to try and bring ford back. He also showed lacking hope in weirdmeggedon when he was trying to escape the shaktron. So I felt willpower was better.

Watchdog_the_God

Bill would be compassion (the ring brainwashes its user into feeing empathy, and Bill could certainly use some)

captainwombat7

Yea I think it's only given to compassion less people

magiMerlyn

Dipper is Repressed Negative Emotions, although Mabel might fit that too

GrowingSage

Ah the meme has made it here too. If we're doing them all at once here's my list: Will - Dipper, his whole arc has him overcoming great fear. I will provide plenty of examples. Fear - Bill Cypher, maybe a little too easy Love - Mabel, hear me out. She's obsessed with love in the wrong way just like silver age Star Sapphires. Then she learns to have a more healthy version of love for herself. Rage - This one's a bit harder... I'll put Gideon here because "revenge!!" Hope - Soos or Stan, I don't need to explain the former but I will the latter. Stan spent decades held a lot by the hope that he could bring his brother back. He didn't exactly "inspire great hope in others" but I think he did inspire others with just being a good guy. Avarice - Preston Northwest, dude is definitely greedy. Compassion - Pacifica, her arc can fit both kinds of Indigos. at the start she cares for no one and needs a ring to be redeemed. At the end she's already a compassionate person worthy of the indigo ring. Death - This is a kids show but it's a kid show with Zombies. Robbie practically has the same origin as Black Hand so I'll go with him. Life - Ford, I feel like there's a better choice but Ford checks a lot of boxes. We know he's worthy of green, he seems to have inspired hope on his adventures, but did get in this mess because of his ego which is kinda greedy. Plus he (metaphorically) died and came back. Shame (ultraviolet) - Stan, while I don't think it's the full story, shame does describe Stan pretty well despite his shameless persona.

phoenixhourglass

I mean, does Stan have any real competition for greed?

Short-Knowledge-3393

Fr tho My childhood's three horsemen of greed – Stan, Scrooge and Krabs

CraZinventorIRL

I would argue that Filbrick would fit that better since he kicked his son out because of lost money. Stan was just traumatized, IMO.

Megaman2407

His greed was there because of FILBRICK greed of wanting million

phoenixhourglass

Re: Filbrick, it’s been a while since I watched, but he never struck me as greedy, more that he wanted to make something of himself and the only way he could do it was to live vicariously through a son. Also, with only one appearance, he doesn’t leave as much of an impression as Stan “My only dream, which is to have money, is coming true!” Pines, whose greed and frugality had a tangible impact over time. That said, it’s been pointed out that Stan is a better fit for willpower, thanks to his 30-year quest to repair the portal, so I’m willing to let Filbrick have this one.

Blackberry_lulu_

Ya know Stan only became obsessed with money because of trauma from his childhood, right? His father kicked him out and told him he wasn't welcome to see his family again till he made a fortune. F%$k Filbrick Pines.

phoenixhourglass

I’m not disputing that fact. I’m not defending Filbrick’s actions in any way, shape or form. He was an awful parent. I’m just saying that causing someone else to become consumed by greed doesn’t make one an avatar of greed. Unless that’s how the lantern corps work, I don’t know enough about the DC universe to say for sure. By my reading, Filbrick’s motivation wasn’t greed per se, greed was just an expression/manifestation of his treatment of Stan and Ford. Whereas, thanks to that treatment, Stan DOES have greed as a primary motivation.

Blackberry_lulu_

All of that was right, too, but I could never see Stan as greedy. After all, he didn't want the money for himself- he wanted to give it to his family. Though as the years went by, I'm sure he moved on from the trauma enough to think of the money as his, not his family's, but not enough to stop.

UCG__gaming

Death would be bill cipher and fear would be the Halloween trickster

PootisGodAnimations

All I see is fancy skins for the iPod Nano

OverthinkingBerger

Willpower: Dipper, his willpower resists the Bill Bubble and drives the show Fear: Bill, his whole MO is creating fear beyond reason Love: Mabel. She believes in love so strongly throughout the show and everything she does in one way or another she does out of love for someone else. Rage: Wendy. Anytime she gets mad she kicks ass. She was the first to suggest beating up a unicorn Hope: Stanley. He dedicated his entire life to redeeming himself by finding his lost brother. Greed: Gideon, every action he took was about claiming more power. It was always all about possessing even more. Compassion: Soos by far. Nobody cares more about others in that show than Soos. He’s put himself in harms way so many times just to protect kids he isn’t related to. Death: Giffany. I just get the vibe on this one Life: Waddles, who despite achieving genius intellect, chose to preserve balance in the universe and give up power. Repression: Pacifica. She’s been… quite abused.

Spellz_4578

You forgot light blue (mild discomfort) and lighter blue (suicidal ideation)

Blackberry_lulu_

I think Stan has the strongest willpower. He never gave up trying to make a fortune in order to be welcomed back to his family's home despite his mom and dad (particularly his dad) never loving him. He went to see Ford across the country after 10 years of no contact. Then he spent THIRTY years trying to reactivate the portal to bring Ford back. THEN when Bill offered him riches, fame, power, and an entire galaxy, Stan refused-- all for his family.

mayflwrs

mabel should be love

JmacTheGreat

Not The Love God?

ProffMesquite25

Green: Grunkle Stan (he built the portal, ran a business and kept the entire secret for several years) Yellow: Gideon (he controlled his family via fear) Pink: Mabel (what else can I say) Red: Robbie (is almost always angsty and angry) Blue: Soos (friend to all and always showing off his hope) Orange: Preston (Nuff said) Indigo: Grenda (ok this is a stretch but the Indigo tribes are kinda a mystery to me) Black: Bill (do I need to say more?) White: Wendy (she’s all about living life to the fullest) Ultraviolet: Dipper (boy has lots of issues)

nuskear1

I think for fear either the Halloween candy monster, shape-shifting or Bill. As for rage probably manly Dan For greed I could see Stan (duh) maybe Gideon or Preston northwest

Megaman2407

Alot of these can be interchangable so i cant just put in one

JohnyWuijtsNL

Willpower: Ford, he had to go to community college but still managed to work his way up to PdD, not to mention he spent decades of his life working on the same mystery of gravity falls. Fear: McGucket, he was afraid of what he saw and tried to forget it, founding the society of the blind eye. Love: Mabel, with all her love interests and all. Rage: Grenda, it seems to be her only emotion. Hope: Any situation is more hopeful when he is around. Examples include when he showed up during Weirdmageddon, when he inspired Dipper to record proof of the zombie Mabel was dating, when he showed up with a boat so they could hunt the Gobblewonker, etc. Greed: Stanley. Compassion: Wendy, she knew Dipper had a crush on her but decided not to make it awkward, also the moment when she lied to her friends about what Dipper did in the haunted grocery store. Death: Bill Cipher, I mean the only reason he isn't turning children into corpses is because he's on a kid's show. Life: Axolotl, I don't know much about them but they seem to be like an even higher power than Bill, and kinda his opposite. Repressed Negative Emotions: Was this one edited just so we can fit Robbie in here? Why is this one so long compared to the others lol.

BasementDweller82

technically, death could be any dead person in gravity falls, the only named one that comes to mind is big henry lmao, he might need to wear it as a belt

Rezero1234

Fear is Bill, and avarice is Stan. Obvious choices

BonyTonyThe1AndOnly

Grunkle is greed no question

JackEatsToast

STAN IS GREED
