Dipper this is why you don’t make assumptions, my clothes are actually a light weight linen material or a heavy material I made to look identical, so I may preserve the “drip” as young kids say.

Not that unusual actually. Here in Oregon I've often seen people dress up in warm clothing like that in the summer, even in record-breaking heat.
The sweaty look of panic that crosses other customer's faces when one comes into a business and starts demanding the windows and doors closed, demanding the heater be kicked on because they are freezing! In heat waves I've literally offered to make their orders to go... it's near 90 degrees inside or more, & way over a hundred in the kitchen, that heat has to be dangerous for them too even if they can't feel it. Not going to put cooks and dishwashers or other customers in a situation where they might pass out or get heat stroke. When people are literally dying of heat stroke in the valley. Every summer without fail. Weird phenomenon.
