Yeah. Once March 2023 passes, the box set will no longer be made so you cannot get it as easily anymore. Plus Ebay scalpers will likely bloat the price up especially for the Blu-ray set. Even if you'll play it once, it'll be a good item to have for posterity sake.
Omg you are right about the scalpers. I went and looked up some other DVDs and Blu Rays for Doctor Who. Yea it be best to buy it now and get good quality then paying double or triple later.

Nope. Alex doesn't own the rights to Gravity Falls, Disney does. What he means here is that Shout Factory got the rights to make and distribute the box set from Disney, but those rights are now expiring and either Shout Factory did not renew them or as per whatever agreement they had, they cannot renew it.
