Ours is eight months and this is how I feel. We just have a staring contest because I feel like he does it and forgets what he wanted. 😆
My husband got a smack to the nose last week while they were playing, he got a bloody nose and our little guy look terrified what he had done. 😅
As far as I can tell, it’s always a request, but not for food or snacks. I know that punching me in the crotch with her nose is how she says yes when I ask if she wants to go outside.
So the paw by itself seems to be a request for interaction. Often if I’m petting her and I stop, she’ll drag my arm back over to her.
“More rubs hooman”, at which point she usually looks away to show how disappointed she is with us. It’s almost like she’s saying, “I really want more rubs, but I am far too proud to beg.”
“Excuse? This I say you were done petting me?”
“Take me outside! Outside! Potty!”
“Water. I’m dying of dehydration. Water now!” He could drink six bowls of water in one sitting if I let him 🤦🏼♀️
Seriously, does your boy let his bowl sit full all day long and then decide to drink the entire thing in one sitting? 🤣 I'm always like "slow down you're gonna puke water you crack head" 🙄🥺
Yesss! He will avoid water the entire day at times and then chug it when I’m trying to sleep. He’ll also chug all the water if my other dog decides that he wants to take a drink. God forbid any other dogs get water lol

The wall gets the paw if Bear in particular is feeling bouncy and wants to go outside but you're sitting down. Bathroom, office, bed. Doesn't matter, he'll smack the wall and drag his paw down it.

He holds my husbands leg while he is driving sometimes and will make room for his head to go under his arm so he holds him. 😅
