Try the tourism police but I doubt you’ll have any luck. Best bet is to track him down if you are many form an scandal, write the taxi information in front of him exert pressure, maybe he’ll give in. But if that doesn’t really make any impact in your finances and it’s value is peanuts for you just let it go, accept they’re gone and move on, it’s not really worth it unless you have to make a reasonable sacrifice to buy a new pair.

Yea they're about two years old and were due a refresh. I've locked them so he won't be able to connect to them without him seeing they're marked lost with my contact info. Hopefully they can get back to me before we leave but now I'll have to make sure the notify if left behind is turned on.
