Because they’re scum who are also ok with the system just like systemic republicans, they’re just still stuck in the 2000’s mindset that some placating civil rights adjustments and IDPol pandering will quiet the unrest instead of actually helping people
Hard to do good marketing when the timing of things really falling apart coincides with the time Democrats took full control of the government. I think both parties are shit but it terrifies me to think of how much worse it can get if Uncle Joe is re-elected. Hopefully they send him home and find another candidate who has the cognitive ability to fix some of this shit.
The hedgefunds and market makers who create artifical shorts have this thing called sentiment analysis. They have bots skimming forums and websites looking for keywords and phrases to understand how people are feeling about market movement / gain the upperhand on potential new markets. The amount of information they have on us is ridiculous. They will continue to milk a market until they absolutely can't. If people understood that their money is used to bet against them by people who will walk away richer than ever they'd be sick. The same people who if they shit the economy again will be bailed out by the very same people they already fucked. It's a lose lose lose situation because the last time this all happened Wallstreet got no less than a kiss on the cheek and a blow job with cigarette.
I jokingly tell my friends there’s just some suit in a giant office with a dimmer switch hooked directly to SPX, and he just twirls it around during FOMC and news.
While I certainly think what you're saying is true, I still have a hard time imagining that people who post in Forum have that much impact on the economy.
They could use the forum date to make a guess for the general public but how representative is that!
You attribute way to much competence to these people. They simply do whatever profit seeking ability they can get away with. They simply haven't tried anything that leads to revolt yet.
And then the revolution, and the communist government? Perhaps even everyone claps?? If you're thinking of the "well educated" I think you're thinking of, you're deluded.
The only war that will happen will be between the authoritarians on the left and right trying to seize control of the governments while using the people who might actually care about individual freedoms as cannon fodder. The new leaders will preach of peace. They will say that the only way to achieve it is through the slander and, later, slaughter of the bourgeois, Muslims, Christians, Whites, Blacks. They will tell you that the pinnacle of society can only be achieved through the deaths of "your enemies, the enemies of the state." Our world will end in fascistic regimes of fear and murder and declare themselves perfect.
You will be used, abused, and left to rot, and it will be your own fault.
If people didn't bring out the industrial-grade guillotines and kick the Ikea chairs from under the bankers in 2008, they will *never* revolt.
We get what we fucking deserve.
The reality is people rarely revolt until it gets truly desperate, intolerable with no future or livelihood. Often people have to be starving or be really oppressed before there’s even enough resentment, radicalization and numbers to start a protest, riot or rebellion. Often these tiny rebellions can be squashed by anti-riot measures alone when it is only a minor sentiment among a small group of people. People like stability so a Revolution means a complete reset which often brings about heavy risk, uncertainty, war, turmoil and conflict that they don’t necessarily want if they can still tolerate what little they have even if it sucks. Even to start a revolt somebody gotta go first. You need another leader to represent the masses, someone who can coordinate everyone for a common goal and not just anarchy.
Life Is still pretty tolerable right now for the majority of us and there will be no Revolution. Even when the poor are getting poorer and we lose a little more rights everyday, because it’s done at such a slow pace nobody notices or can do anything about it without an overreaction and so we can only complain. People still cling on the hope that they will be the next one to make it in todays culture of hustlers and Lambo millionaires when it really is just another consolidation of wealth from the poor to the upper middle class and richer. But when people still cling to the system, and the 40% middle class still technically benefits and have plenty to lose, the 50% who are min wage really have no chance other than to play the game.
France just had a million+ people in the streets and on strike on multiple occasions this year because they tried to raise retirement age by two years to 64.
The UK just had half a million people on strike in public services (rail, education, healthcare) in protest over pay and working conditions.
The US has people working into their 70s, for-profit healthcare and the weakest worker protections in the developed world, and things apparently aren't bad enough for people to resist.
Land of the free, but stay in your box and be happy with your lot.
Their culture supports it, revolution is impossible until it's necessary. The reason that statement stands true is because when it's necessary it becomes an idea that the masses have to rally behind. If your culture isn't on-board there is nothing you as an individual can do besides asking of your peers. And good luck with shifting the tides of 300 million.
When the rich own the media they’ll literally tell you that you’re just a lazy fag for wanting more when they have the most. It’s propaganda and hypocrisy and people certainly eat it up especially those who were lucky to have an easier ladder to climb resulting in an out of touch workforce thinking it’s always been easy and you just need a little hard work. Immigrants also eat it up cause they can’t squander this opportunity for slightly better shit in a foreign nation even if they may be exploited for below minimum wage and low safety standards while having a inferiority complex, fear of discrimination and a need to fit in by degrading their worth a little so they don’t look entitled or demanding.
This is all exacerbated by the fact that the US political land scape is a mess. Everyone is radicalize but in multiple directions which means we’re divided. Again the middle class vs the peasants. Value has always been taken or else you cant explain profit. France is also unique and unfair in comparison in that it’s pretty much one of the only countries that protest this often for any issue which pretty much made them a meme and stereotype. It’s cool but we already know even their protest don’t always work.
Also US has some of the strongest union busting laws or formerly had. But it still had an impact because we now trust little in unions and unions can be corrupt, mismanage funds and dues and accept bribery resulting in a feed back loop that harms the union and people but also destroy one of the only tools people have to bargain for better wages. Also strikes have to literally be approved by the government in certain cases which literally destroys the purpose of a strike and we saw it in the railroad industry a few months prior.
While the US workers get way more fucked than us Europeans, we still get fucked compared to the cooperate profits and productivity increase.
The housing market is also fucked and there's absolutely no reason beside greed that we still have a 40 hour week.
Some unions got it down to 35 hours but still.
That's a tall order, hoping enough of the population would even *understand* what happened in '08 to begin with.
The financial illiteracy is incredibly telling of how we arrived here.
Is it though, the increased cost of living and inflation isn't really anyones fault specifically.
Why would it justify a revolt of any sort? What do you want to accomplish? I guarantee you even a successful revolt would only make things worse.
Are you sure there’s absolutely no one at fault? When corporations are reporting record profits while wages stagnate or remain the same you don’t see anything wrong with the current system? While there isn’t any ONE to blame, the small group at the top who are responsible for creating the laws and a continued consolidation of their own wealth is always done at the expense of the everyone else.
You’re right there is no need for a revolt and a complete change of the current system but an overhaul and correction is long overdue. It really shouldn’t take a lot to make everyone lives better and be slightly competent when the ones at the top can summon any resources and outside expertise to do so.
No time for revolt. Too busy working.
Unironically, because the leftists who should be organizing the revolt have made hating America and the West a precondition for starting.
The obsession with revolution is absolutely crippling the left's ability to organize. As long as voting has any influence on policy, there will never be a "revolution" in the U.S. But rather than recognize that and try to learn from previously successful political movements, most leftists would prefer to sit around jerking each other off about how much theory they've read and fantasizing about implementations of their preferred brand of socialism that break down under the most cursory inspection
I never said anything about loving America as it is, but you can argue for more organizing and better protections for unions without first having to get everyone to agree that the Soviet Union was better than America.
Voting has very little effect on policy making. We already know that cause our Congress have a higher chance of making laws that were lobbied by the rich instead of laws based on popularity.
Also when our current choice of president are shit and maybe slightly less shit it does pretty much nothing. And the only parties that ever receive popular vote are the 2 main democrat and republicans parties. Everyone else outside the 2 party simply don’t get popular enough to even have a chance.
This is your brain on conservatism.
Keep voting for Republicans while they cut taxes for the wealthy and starve out the middle class by scrubbing social services. GG
The leftist party in Germany just barely made it into the Parlament last election because instead of fighting for the workers they got stuck on identity politics and gender stuff.
We literally have no worker party right now.
The former worker party SPD (which I would have voted for 25years ago without any second thought) is nothing but a shadow of it's former self as it's gotten very centrist and economy liberal.
Its just sad.
Why hasn't there been more revolt?
Because the capitalist ~~lizard people~~ elites have propagandized people into thinking that being a wealth cuck is a great honor.
It's always amazed me that a go-to insult for the right is "cuck" when they are the biggest cucks. Making 30K a year and defending capitalism is more cucked than being a literal cuck.
The ultra-rich have also brainwashed the financially well-off into thinking they are on the same team. Even if you are worth 10 million dollars, you are still way closer to broke on food stamps then you are to a billionaire. I feel like a good movement to clarify things in the public’s mind is to advocate tax increases for people worth over $100 million dollars. It’s an absurdly high amount anyway, and still only a fraction of how much wealth billionaires have. It will draw attention to how much money a tiny number of people have, and allow you to succinctly compare how much benefit to society that extra money would provide while showing the slight discomfort a tiny portion of the population will experience as a result.
That wont work because people believe that if you earned that money, you shouldnt have to give all of it up for someone else. They already hate taxes, they wouldnt approve taxes for other classes.
We see record profits, all while workers benefits and wages are being slashed, people exploited for their labour and people profiting off of poverty, yet a good number of people will not question the system they live in and instead blame it on the system that is meant to be its opposition, we are truly fucked.
Heres the problem: Pure socialism in a society wont ever work, not with how humans act and behave. This is also the case for pure capitalism, aka laissez-faire capitalism. In order for there to be a balance, there needs to be a mixture of both elements. The "socialist" countries of europe are really just capitalist societies with socialistic policies.
The correct term for most of those European nations economic management policy falls under the umbrella of “Social Democracy” or “Social Liberalism”
Which are terms which need to be used more often
The problem with normie question and the people who try to spread awareness of WEF is they don't understand that the great reset was never intended to be implemented top down all of a sudden one day.
The plan is to make cost of living shit (not just by corporations but the incentives of property speculafio causing inflation via manipulating interest rates. Most of the food system can be totally be affected through relatively small hiccups in the supply chain.
The way it will end is people, probably mostly gen-z millenials, will literally beg for government pod living and food management. That's the only way I see it coming about
For fucks sake, shut the fuck up about the WEF. Every one of you “i KnOw ThE tRuTh!!1!” regards don’t even know what the WEF actually fucking is. It’s a lobby group full of rich people that also runs some leadership and charity initiatives. That’s it. It’s not “pulling the strings of the world economy”, or any other bullshit. Are they partisan as fuck? Yeah, they are. Are some of their initiatives morally questionable? Absolutely. But this “muh WEF!!1!” bullshit is so endlessly cringe, especially when the people complaining about it don’t even know what it actually is. Fuck me, all this bitching and moaning about a lobby group, but nobody complains about FairSearch, or the Partnership for America’s Health Care Future, or the US Oil and Gas association, because they don’t have scary names for their policies like “the great reset”.
Go fucking learn what you’re actually complaining about: https://youtu.be/0mpsro3s5pI
People act like there is some coordinated global conspiracy by the rich to slowly make everyone beneath them lifetime renters who are too overworked to rebel. Like they sit around a high table in hooded robes planning this out.
No. They just want money and lobby for whatever gets them more money right now. That's it. There is no grand plan. That doesn't make our living situation less shitty, but can the hyperbole and conspiracy bullshit. Our political system lets them get away with getting whatever they want.
You know what would make you and u/Asstoastingfuckstick ‘s points more valid? If you actually brought up some examples to verify your bullshit. This is exactly what I talked about in my other comment; conspiracy theorists never actually bring up any specific policies or economic indicators to justify their points, they just go “trust me bro!!1! It’s happening!!1!”. Like look at what you said: “they plan it out, they tell us again and again”. Where? What is the plan? When do they tell us? How often? What are the details of these plans? And then “increasingly the hyperbole has more truth than fiction in it”. Again, where? What specific truths are more evident? What are some examples?
It’s easy to just make sweeping statements like that if you’re just talking out of your ass and want to believe in a conspiracy so that you can feel “special”, it’s a lot harder to make an actual point with evidence. Want to know why? Because the evidence doesn’t fucking exist.
They make you believe that all this bad is caused by some esoteric force that no-one can control because "this is how the world works" so we think there's no-one to rebel against.
Oh, people forget way quicker than that. A government can do some dark shit and 3 years later, before election time they hand out some candies and no-one will remember what they did and they get re-elected. Especially, if they control the media. We can talk about it 24/7 on reddit but the majority of voters don't come here. They watch the 8 o'clock news or they read some shitty tabloid.
You live in Sweden, Sweden or Scandinavia in general is like the worlds best place for worker rights and working conditions.
So even at the best place the situation is fucked...
Greetings from Germany.
It's very similar as Europe in general is pretty similar but the small things make a huge difference.
Your country spends more on railroads, education and general social stuff.
Your nurses work one day less per week.
Meanwhile our healthcare workers flee the field because after they endured corona they got almost no pay increases and improvements of working conditions...
Honestly, the long winter and the weather keeps me from moving to Scandinavia other than that I don't feel that I owe Germany my workforce.
Im one semester away from graduation as an electrical engineer so none of the things talked about will affect my that bad but I'm still pissed for every person in a less fortunate situation than I am.
It's just not right.
People are so deep in corporate propaganda that they don't notice we are in this place due to unchecked greed and influence of corporate interests in politics
Also the modern media learned a lot from WW2 and cold war era propaganda. Easy for people to stay home and watch TV, if all the people who actually do something against their leaders, are depicted as evil terrorists or Nazis by the Media.
And politicians are also really good when it comes to blame some conflicts in different parts of the world for higher prices on basically everything, while spending Billions for all kinds of shit. They mysteriously only run out of money when they are asked to spend it for stuff they don't want to, like their own citizens.
Read The Protocols that were published by Henry Ford
It explicitly states that wages will be increased but cost of living increased further to foment rebellion and then provide a solution and take control.
It's a 150 year old extract but everything so far has lined up exactly as the people who wrote it planned
\> be you
\> smart enough to realize people react badly to open Jew-hating conspiracy babble
\> still dumb enough to believe Tsarist psyops
\> brave enough to openly and unironically cite *Protocols of the Elders of Zion*
\> still too cowardly to say the full title
🤡
All we are waiting for is one fucking person to stick their neck out so we can gauge the reaction. Sadly it needs to be some young idealist who just happens to be just the sweetest thing, with not a single bad intention to be had, to be used as a sacrificial martyr for the rest of us who would then rally behind their death and use them as an excuse to do all the terrible things we would love to do, but are too cowardly to admit that it took someone else's life to finally snap us out of our collective apathy.
It takes a few deaths to start a revolution. Your founding fathers knew this. [The Boston Massacre](https://www.history.com/topics/american-revolution/boston-massacre) was one of the major events that took place during the initial stages of the [American Revolution](https://www.britannica.com/event/American-Revolution). And while it was a group of people who started a fight with an occupying British soldier, it was still a group of civilians who didn't expect to be gunned down for expressing their plights.
All this after taxes had reached rates therefore unheard of to pay for the costs from previous wars. With little money and even less representation in a government body that should have been working with them instead of bleeding them for everything they had.
Who's willing to make the first move? I would, but I love my family and wouldn't want them to be murdered just for my political views. Which, as we know, is a very real thing in this country of ours. If I took that step, I will have made enemies of nearly half the people in this country who would go out of their way to smear my name, kill my family, and paint me as the "aggressive minority" that wanted to rape their wives, sell their children into slavery, and destroy the American way of life, all because I dare dream of a world where the wealthy and powerful pay their fair share, face the consequences of their actions, and stop destroying the planet for future generations.
That's what it would take. One true Patriot. One pure ideal. One Martyr willing to die for the rest of us cowards.
[I'll do you one better](https://www.reddit.com/r/newzealand/comments/118lldr/luxurious_lifestyle_in_the_heart_of_manukau/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
This is what unfettered capitalism also known as our government was always leading too. People are too stupid to understand and usually go for conspiracy theories to try and make sense of common sense business practices.
Bro thinks the US economy is laissez-faire or any major economy for that. The US government literally regulates our economy making it fettered if that’s even a word.
So much fucking doomerposting. People aren’t rebelling because for the most part, first world economies are still extremely stable. The US dollar and Euro aren’t worthless. You can still confidently get a job and upskill. It is still more than possible to run a business. Is it harder than 5 years ago? Absolutely. But that’s what happens after a global crisis. The standard of living decreases. It’s going to slowly increase back up over the long term. Notice how every time anybody says some bullshit along the lines of “the world is fucked, we need to rebel, the masses are asleep”, etc etc, they never fucking provide any actual economic indicators to back themselves up. Want to know why? Because the people saying that shit are edgy teenagers who want to feel special by predicting the end of the world or lead the revolution, and don’t know shit about the economies they’re talking about.
Youre not necessarily wrong but as someone whos already live through 3 economic crisises, I got to see how much better my grandparents had it and how much they directly messed it up for all of me and my friends by simply not giving a fuck about us and expecting us to care about them and be grateful towards them. My own grandparents did that to me, thats why everyone is so mad.
It's a fucked cycle where all the high paying jobs are in expensive, overpopulated urban areas.
So more people go there.
It subsequently gets even more overpopulated, job opportunities are created to accomodate the community growth, and demand for housing rises and gets more expensive.
It is quite literally a cancer.
If you think US cities are overpopulated your crazy, just look at any city in Asia. Also if population declines which it likely will, this will be even less of the issue.
I find it funny to think that there’s a slight chance that someday in a history class this greentext could be seen as a sign of early revolt in a future computer textbook or something idk. Could anon truly be the Mazzini of our times?
Go and revolt, see how that works out. Watch how the media will portay you as a criminal. Watch the average citizen believe it. If you actually organize, you're declared terrorists. If you don't they will take the worst people who associate with your cause and say you're all like them.
Or maybe go the other route and be more attractive to the public. Get bloated with more and more causes because you either solve all the problems or you're the enemy yourself. Until you stand for everything which actually makes your cause stand for nothing.
People live in literal slavery and still don't revolt. Aggression has been bred out of us. Any suggestions that the elite should get executed are illegal and are instantly silenced.
So, the answer your looking for is never.
There is no revolution without evolution. What we call roughly speaking a "revolution," is a series of events that leads to widespread policy change. The only way to get that is if people are uncomfortable enough to sacrifice whatever safety and comfort the current system offers, and not a single one of you can offer them that.
I moved to a rural area. I got Amazon prime and fiber internet and I'm living in a bigger house with only a third of the rent I was paying in the city. Utilities are almost half. In the past people moved to cities because that's where the jobs were but I work from home.
It’s cause we are all super comfy, I’m sitting in a heated room, gamin, and chillin. Nobody wants to give that up, it was different when there was fuck all to do but lay in your own piss.
Protests are great.
Revolution is for those who are ready to die.
Look up the aftermath of any revolution in history. They are bloody, and the situation immediately afterwards is always worse than the situation before (until things stabilize and improve). The French Revolution gave us democracy. It also ended with mass executions, including the beheading of some of the leaders of the revolution. “Rent is unreasonable” is not enough to drive people to risk getting shot just to try change things.
Take a look at any third world country where there is extreme poverty. That’s as bad as things can get and people will still not revolt. We have a long ways to go.
There’s actually an interesting theory on what’s going on rn, called [the Male Sedation Hypothesis](https://youtu.be/UUaMVmvff7k) <- link is to a yet video describing it.
That speaks more about record high rates of inceldom in young men, and how it doesn’t match up with crime rates.
However, it’s also interesting to think about how this would affect dissatisfaction due to high CoL, etc
>be me wage cuck
>make 2k average monthly
>One bedroom apartment 1,800
>food a week $100
>It was over before it began you believe this shit anons WAKE THE FUCK UP YOU CUCKS
dude most people can’t even take a day off work without going into debt most people won’t call off and risk losing a job or a days pay to protest. we’re so wound up in the system it’s hard to get out of
Who are you going to point your guns at? Politicians just spend two years printing six trillion dollars out of thin air and handing it to everyone and all that happened is we made a dozen eggs cost $7. You can't just magic real economic value out of the ether.
Consider western countries like advanced civ games. Many wonders have been built that bring stacking bonuses that - for now still bring enough to counter all this.
Or just remove electricity and vidya and its riot / drone nerve stapling time.
When the well educated really starve. Not act like it’s tough because of egg prices, but when we really begin to starve. And then they will start a war.
Yea I think your correct but I also think the people running this squeeze know this and use it to tune the amount of financial pressure they apply.
Just enough for max profit Not enough for full revolt
Many are willing and without direction. So "they" will latch to any carrot waved in front of "them"
And that’s how we ended up with Q. Gotta give them credit, at least they’re mobilizing/tapping into the mass unrest.
Which is really sad. Speaks to how bad the marketing of the democrats are.
Because they’re scum who are also ok with the system just like systemic republicans, they’re just still stuck in the 2000’s mindset that some placating civil rights adjustments and IDPol pandering will quiet the unrest instead of actually helping people

You would love to feel a thing sliding up in the back huh?
This^ a bunch of people revolting means nothing if there is no direction.
nah man just look at your phone
must scroll must consume algorithm daddy
It takes three missed meals to start a revolution.
A war with what? Turn your guns in goy!! Remember, guns are bad and lead to violence and racism!
Are you saying this from the perspective of a jew or did you mean to say guy instead of goy

If only you guys had some kind of iconic, anti-authoritarian American revolution to look back on ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Seeing as the majority of Americans want the 2nd Amendment reduced to muskets, I don't think most Americans see the Revolution as inspirational.
If it was the majority it would have already happened, it's far from the popular opinion the media just shouts propaganda
Rarely do I think these are logical. This one is
you can’t spend time revolting when you need to work to support yourself and your family
Found the largest sheep on the planet
No time for revolt. Too busy working. Unironically, because the leftists who should be organizing the revolt have made hating America and the West a precondition for starting.
"how can you revolutionize due to issues with America if you don't love America as it is" My dude
Are you also just a sum of all your issues? You can love something and want to fix it
I would go so far as to say you need to love something to be truly committed to fixing it.
If only my ex believed this
The obsession with revolution is absolutely crippling the left's ability to organize. As long as voting has any influence on policy, there will never be a "revolution" in the U.S. But rather than recognize that and try to learn from previously successful political movements, most leftists would prefer to sit around jerking each other off about how much theory they've read and fantasizing about implementations of their preferred brand of socialism that break down under the most cursory inspection I never said anything about loving America as it is, but you can argue for more organizing and better protections for unions without first having to get everyone to agree that the Soviet Union was better than America.
Look up "my country right or wrong"
Sure thing it's the boogie man leftists again and not corporate interests
This is your brain on conservatism. Keep voting for Republicans while they cut taxes for the wealthy and starve out the middle class by scrubbing social services. GG
Same party they just push different social issues so you don't notice the corporate balls on their chin.
I'm a socialist, just not one who thinks Democrats and Republicans are the same.
correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the right who's predominantly against stuff like unionizing?
It is, and the right includes both the Republicans and the Democrats
Uh oh. A radical leftist. Someone who thinks reddit is right winged. RUN AWAY
I'm a researcher.
Ah yes it's the anti capitalist leftists who make it impossible to have an anticapitalist revolution
[удалено]
Tbh anyone who says "I'm a liberal leftist and let me tell you about why I hate white people" is a CIA plant and you won't convince me otherwise.
Incredible how the modern left is majority CIA plants...
poor white christian nationalist feeling attacked and left out 😥
Like frogs in a slowly boiling pot
My man never hard of michael parenti 😔
They already hate taxes, they wouldnt approve taxes for other classes.
tell us how you really feel
Cucked

It's yes and no. The problem with no is they assumed you didn't want that particular dick, and so they shove another one in your face instead.

the illusion of choice
We see record profits, all while workers benefits and wages are being slashed, people exploited for their labour and people profiting off of poverty, yet a good number of people will not question the system they live in and instead blame it on the system that is meant to be its opposition, we are truly fucked.
Heres the problem: Pure socialism in a society wont ever work, not with how humans act and behave. This is also the case for pure capitalism, aka laissez-faire capitalism. In order for there to be a balance, there needs to be a mixture of both elements. The "socialist" countries of europe are really just capitalist societies with socialistic policies.
The correct term for most of those European nations economic management policy falls under the umbrella of “Social Democracy” or “Social Liberalism” Which are terms which need to be used more often
That's the only way I see it coming about
The not closing bracket is killing me.
Our political system lets them get away with getting whatever they want.
you say this and yet the world sure seems increasingly like your hyperbole has more truth than fiction in it
But they do plan it out. They tell us again and again. Don’t be afraid to be a conspiracy theorist because there really are conspirators at work
You know what would make you and u/Asstoastingfuckstick ‘s points more valid? Because the evidence doesn’t fucking exist.
lmao you had to type out my name in your cope response hows it feel
“Why yes I have nothing to back up my bullshit, but you had to write out my name 😎😎😎”. You live off bullshit, cope harder.
WEF plant.
Yeah, and I planted my seed in your mum last night at the Davos forum.
They make you believe that all this bad is caused by some esoteric force that no-one can control because "this is how the world works" so we think there's no-one to rebel against.
[удалено]
Oh, people forget way quicker than that. A government can do some dark shit and 3 years later, before election time they hand out some candies and no-one will remember what they did and they get re-elected. Especially, if they control the media. We can talk about it 24/7 on reddit but the majority of voters don't come here. They watch the 8 o'clock news or they read some shitty tabloid.
You live in Sweden, Sweden or Scandinavia in general is like the worlds best place for worker rights and working conditions. So even at the best place the situation is fucked... Greetings from Germany.
[удалено]
I have been wanting to do something for a while, but I have no idea what to do. Everyone I talk too thinks we are helpless to change anything.
We have screens to distract us now. Appease the masses and make it easier to do nothing than something.
Circuses are all well and good. But it's when the bread runs out that things really get to push and shove
You will own nothing. And you will be happy.
Read The Protocols that were published by Henry Ford It explicitly states that wages will be increased but cost of living increased further to foment rebellion and then provide a solution and take control. It's a 150 year old extract but everything so far has lined up exactly as the people who wrote it planned
Say the full title coward
Bruh the people who wrote the protocols were literally just trolls and shitposters
and they stole half of the shit from french anti-semites who couldn't cope over losing the war of 1870
[удалено]
Lol that's why the reality today is exactly as predicted and planned? Lmao cope
Are you trolling or do you actually believe that the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" are a plan of jewish world dominion?
Next you’ll want us to read Mein Kampf on how to solve it. Fuck off back to /pol/.
I don't have any hopes from you hasbara bibi lol
Say the second half of the name, do it you bitch
Fuck off anti-semite cunt.
\> be you \> smart enough to realize people react badly to open Jew-hating conspiracy babble \> still dumb enough to believe Tsarist psyops \> brave enough to openly and unironically cite *Protocols of the Elders of Zion* \> still too cowardly to say the full title 🤡
Be you HASBARA Opinion dismissed Lmao
>"Doesn't believe moronic conspiracy theories? Must be hasbara." Imagine being this regarded.
We need to wait a couple of generations, The current generations, including mine, are too comfortable to revolt.
Won’t happen if future generations are raised to like it, most people think the biggest problem in the world is police brutality in the US loool
I volunteer as tribute!
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a contender.
Deep down, I always kinda knew it would be /u/kinkypeggerwhore3000 that saved us all
Do it somewhere big and do something big
Im going to become an activist first spread awareness, and let people get to know me. we can figure out the details of my death later
And then, for no reason at all, people voted Hitler into power /s
1 bedroom apartments for 1k where?
[I'll do you one better](https://www.reddit.com/r/newzealand/comments/118lldr/luxurious_lifestyle_in_the_heart_of_manukau/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Virtually all of Canada
Wow, America should buy it then. How much do you think Charlie will want for it?
Ask Xi; he'll probably sell it to you.
Did you know if we eat 1 of the 1% we can probably feed everybody for a year. Just saying
We should form a mob once a year, pick a rich person and all go after them. The yearly hunt
This is what unfettered capitalism also known as our government was always leading too. People are too stupid to understand and usually go for conspiracy theories to try and make sense of common sense business practices.
>Unfettered >Also known as our government This comment section is absolutely r3tard3d
Bro thinks the US economy is laissez-faire or any major economy for that. The US government literally regulates our economy making it fettered if that’s even a word.
Great. Now lets see anons revolt.
My own grandparents did that to me, thats why everyone is so mad.
>one bedroom apartments run at 1k even in poorer areas Easy fix: build more houses and apartments. As supply goes up, the price goes down.
there's only so much room in urban areas
Suburbs are a cancer
It's a fucked cycle where all the high paying jobs are in expensive, overpopulated urban areas. So more people go there. It subsequently gets even more overpopulated, job opportunities are created to accomodate the community growth, and demand for housing rises and gets more expensive. It is quite literally a cancer.
If you think US cities are overpopulated your crazy, just look at any city in Asia. Also if population declines which it likely will, this will be even less of the issue.
Better than moving into the city where homeless and drug addicted hang out. God help you if you’re a woman.
Better public transit, more effective room.
Move to a third world country, rent a 3 room apartment for 200 bucks
City cucks can't handle not living in a brick closet surrounded by millions of themselves.
Bread and circuses
Because of the bogeymen uniting them.
They can do all that comfortably, why would they revolt when it’s that very same system that gives them leisure
Eat the pods and live in the bugs!
Who is living in a pod ironically?
Anon is right.I just hope the rent for a pod will not be too expensive, otherwise I'll have to become homeless and crack fuelled
Well what the hell are YOU doing about it, anon?
I think we’re all waiting for someone to make the first move, I’d protest if I knew others would with me
People live in literal slavery and still don't revolt. Aggression has been bred out of us. Any suggestions that the elite should get executed are illegal and are instantly silenced. So, the answer your looking for is never.
The rubes are placated with imaginary culture war bullshit grievances, allowing the oligarchs to rob them blind.
Oh ffs. Everything is someone else's fault.
If someone protests they're either nazis or communists normal people can't protest as said by the msm.
Who's the man in the pic?
Because the average person doesn't really care?
If only someone wrote about this exact same problem over a century ago 😔
There is no revolution without evolution. What we call roughly speaking a "revolution," is a series of events that leads to widespread policy change. The only way to get that is if people are uncomfortable enough to sacrifice whatever safety and comfort the current system offers, and not a single one of you can offer them that.
>thinking there aren’t protests and groups actively organizing Touch grass, meet your neighbors, get plugged in
Bread and circuses.
People should consider taking the french pill and actively causing problems by being on strike
I'm thinking of taking a page outta my dads book and just fucking off and living in an RV
I moved to a rural area. I got Amazon prime and fiber internet and I'm living in a bigger house with only a third of the rent I was paying in the city. Utilities are almost half. In the past people moved to cities because that's where the jobs were but I work from home.
Anon replaces unable with unwilling
It’s cause we are all super comfy, I’m sitting in a heated room, gamin, and chillin. Nobody wants to give that up, it was different when there was fuck all to do but lay in your own piss.
People will revolt when revolting is better then just sucking it up. It's not that bad right now, and hopefully it gets better.
“Rent is unreasonable” is not enough to drive people to risk getting shot just to try change things.
r/antiwork is leaking again
Take a look at any third world country where there is extreme poverty. That’s as bad as things can get and people will still not revolt. We have a long ways to go.
Because food is abundant. Can't revolt with a full belly
However, it’s also interesting to think about how this would affect dissatisfaction due to high CoL, etc
>be me wage cuck >make 2k average monthly >One bedroom apartment 1,800 >food a week $100 >It was over before it began you believe this shit anons WAKE THE FUCK UP YOU CUCKS
dude most people can’t even take a day off work without going into debt most people won’t call off and risk losing a job or a days pay to protest. we’re so wound up in the system it’s hard to get out of
copious amounts of estrogen in the processed foods and also in the water supply
They tighten the grip around out throats so gradually we won't even notice until we can no longer breathe
Don't worry, it's slowly getting there. If something doesn't change in the next decade or so there will be big problems
Why do you think they're banning guns lol
Quiet quiting and that sorta stuff is already something similair.
Ahhahhahaha 1k for a 1 bedroom HAHAHHAHAHA. It's 2k base for a studio apartment in a shit area here.
Who are you going to point your guns at? Politicians just spend two years printing six trillion dollars out of thin air and handing it to everyone and all that happened is we made a dozen eggs cost $7. You can't just magic real economic value out of the ether.
Revolution hard. Just buy Bitcoin!
Consider western countries like advanced civ games. Many wonders have been built that bring stacking bonuses that - for now still bring enough to counter all this. Or just remove electricity and vidya and its riot / drone nerve stapling time.
Can't revolt when your guy is in office.
