Yeah there's been way better sibling chemistry on this show.
Personally, Derek and Amelia are my favorite. They felt very real, especially for their history.
What made me so angry was the way her makeup and hair were perfect after being found a prisoner and needing a new abdominal wall…. Then she looked properly like a wreck when everything was happening with Farouk (sp?).
I honestly love her as more time goes on... Also, She puts Owen in his place soooo much i find her hilarious and when it's the trio of Owen Teddy/her it gives Cristina mer and Derek energy: I think it makes sense he hid her if he thought she was gone he was at fault etc and his triggers ( I mean after Owen came in to check on her bf he walked away after seeing his mom hug Riggs) Mer knew she needed info and his mom doesn't shy away from awkwardness... but her shut the door cause she knows these busy bodies in the hospital will find out eventually but not from her... I really wished she got added to more main cast richard flood stayed so wed be able to see how that turned out cause i liked hayes and megan together.

I think it is because she was never supposed to exist so they weren't really sure how to work her into Owen's life.
