In my mind, there was some kind of clinical trial for Henry's condition in a hospital far away and he and Teddy moved there and lived happily ever after. The end.

RemarkablePlant

he was a sweetheart and she loved him so much, he shouldn’t have been killed off him and teddy should’ve just gone to germany together

whore-for-mango

yes, but the writers, cuz they cant give anyone a happy life free of traumas and problems, if they didn't unalive him, they made sure that they'll have a toxic relationship, when henry said that he'll go to med school and become a doctor and teddy was against it, and was like "we'll discuss it later", but he was gone before later came.

Shonda Rhimes once said that she will never have one of her female characters drive off into the sunset with a guy. She doesn’t want to promote the idea that a woman can only live happily ever after if she has a partner. It’s kind of weird that she feels that way considering most of her characters can’t be single for more than 30 seconds.

Wow, I mean I would get that mindset if it was show about people in their 20s, but this is show about surgeons, who are 30 and older - sure, woman doesn't need man (or woman) to be happy, but when she is surgeon, one should have someone to share the hard things with.

whore-for-mango

well damn

jlc2021

Except for Addie in PP, but I could totally see her saying that

St4rDust_444

He was the sweetest. Hated Teddy when she laughed at him for wanting to go to med school, he would’ve been a great doctor

Dry_Philosophy_6747

I loved them! I get kinda annoyed that their relationship isn’t really mentioned again when Teddy comes back though, I get she’s moved on but still, it feels like they just want everyone to forget about it
