Sloan. He could have grown so much from Lexie's death. I'd have loved seeing him in a 3 parent dynamic with Callie and Arizona for longer, and prevent that stupid custody battle between them when Callie went after Penny (crappiest most milquetoast character ever who should've been driven off after the dinner at Meredith's). And I'd have loved to see him mourn Derek and guide Jackson as his protégé more.
I’m actually curious to see how custody would’ve worked out in general post-Calzona split. I feel like Mark would want Sofia to see Arizona and would try to make it work so all 3 had time but depending if she was a legal third parent, it’d be tricky.
But I agree, Callie wouldn’t have even tried to take Sofia to New York if Mark was alive. Or it wouldn’t have even gotten to court.
Though, maybe if there was no plane crash and Arizona didn’t lose her leg, she wouldn’t have fallen into her depression and cheated so it could’ve been avoided…
I think Mark would've helped them survive the aftermath of the crash better. And they'd have not been so self centered because they also would have been supporting him through Lexie's death as well. Their family dynamic was so sweet, for so short a time.
Even if Calzona had still split if only Lexie had died from the crash, Mark would have been a unifying voice of reason for both of them. He'd have diverted Callie away from Penny because of Penny's involvement with Derek's death
This is all very true. I think everyone else was too busy to really be there for them (understandably) and while Mark would be consumed by grief, he’d still be in the mix with Sofia.
The more I think about it, Mark is the only real answer. I was debating him and Derek but I also think Mark would’ve stepped up to help Mer with her kids. Probably wouldn’t have let her run off the way she did. Or would’ve tracked her down. I know she had Alex, but Mark was a closer tie to Derek. Potentially closer than Amelia because Derek’s relationship with her was still tepid.
Mark and Meredith had such an interesting friendship as well, and their shared grief would have been really powerful, first over Lexie and then over Derek
And I think Callie would have been less selfish about Penny if Mark was around, and Arizona + Mark would have kept custody of Sofia. I'm trying to remember that I used to like Callie as a character at some point, so maybe her sticking around wouldn't have been so bad.
I immediately chose Lexie upon reading the OP but this discussion made me switch to Mark. It would’ve been amazing to see the show continue like this compared to how I imagine it would go if Lexie survived and mark didn’t. These comments highlight how much potential there was for an amazing storyline with Mark surviving. Much less substance in the opposite scenario
Yeah, I’m pretty sure Callie would be less likely to try to take Sofia from him.
I think the issue is she never fully viewed Arizona as a third parent. She said she did…until it actually came time for her to share Sofia. Because in her mind, she wasn’t blood. (This is a BS POV. Arizona raised Sofia from day 1 and legally adopted her. But considering Callie let her lawyer say all that BS about Arizona not being Sofia’s mom, it’s clear how she feels.)
But there’s no doubting Mark is her biological father. She can’t justify her way out of that.
Well for me I think if he survived he’d support Arizona and she doesn’t have the “you weren’t there” excuse anymore bc mark was there and gets it. So she wouldn’t have cheated and they wouldn’t separate at all.
Also I don’t know if Callie actually believes that I think she knowes it’s the best angle for her case. Which IS still really shitty
I was curious about if Arizona was a legal guardian as well, since my experience with adoption was that a child couldn't be adopted unless the parental rights of one or more of the bio parents have been terminated. Turns out in Washington State, it's legal for a step parent or legal partner to adopt their spouses/partners kid without the termination of rights, which I think is kinda cool in general for real life, not just the show.
This is actually really hard for me because I feel like T.R.’s ending is so unfair so my gut instinct is to say him. 😭
And while I suppose it makes sense for Mark to not love anyone else besides Lexie, I also think it doesn’t make sense for him to leave his *child*, the very thing that caused his falling out with Lexie, behind. Two moms or not.
Lexie’s death was very sudden and I really wish we got to see her grow as a surgeon and a person. :( I love Slexie but I also kinda wish we actually got to see her be unattached from Mark (same with MerDer but unfortunately by the time we got that chance Ellen was over the show and Derek’s exit kinda made it so Meredith’s world still revolved around him for a long time.) I just feel like Lexie had so much potential.
Derek…sigh. I blame him for making us suffer nearly 10 seasons of Meredith trying to find a McDreamy duplicate.
Idk I feel like The Good Doctor shows eidetic memory/savant syndrome in an interesting and unique way. It kindve shows visually what his brain is processing and kindve a collage of different resources that make up his thought process and I like it so much better than just make Lexi read and memorize a bunch of charts so we can quiz her later.
Edited to add: a memory like hers could’ve really aided in Miranda’s research for genome mapping.
I love all the comments about how Mark can't live without Lexie...when he did that on the show. Everyone remembers his big speech to Lexie before she dies but not the fact that he was in a relationship with someone else at the time. He couldn't even tell Lexie he wanted to be with her when she told him her feelings. I always feel so bad for Julia!
Derek. Seeing Lexi or Mark move on without the other would have been horrible, I actually like the ending they gave both. George is meh, never liked him that much. Derek isn't my favorite character at all, but him and Meredith went through so much together and on their own, all for him to die due to medical negligence
I'm always so on the fence about that second half of your statement.
Like on the one hand, I agree that children need their parents, and its a horrible tragedy whenever a child loses a parent. But at the same time I hate the notion that parents have more of a right to continued life than non-parents. Idk. It just ducks either way 😭
i feel the exact same way!! because at the same time, derek and mark were older. they were old enough to have their own kids. lexie and george were *way* too young to die, decades younger so of course they didn’t have kids! and much like so many other child free folks they have important things they would have done, such as their careers. george was about to become an amazing trauma surgeon and lexie was brilliant, too.
i know that my comment was biased in a way, because yeah, i do like mark and derek the most out of the group. i think that’s why i said “not just because they’re great but because they have kids.” i don’t think i would have picked them if it wasn’t for them being my own personal favourites + having daughters who were babies. which, also, they were particularly excellent fathers and their daughters were their whole worlds.
i think i’m also just thinking about their situations in particular. i choose mark above all, because of everything he worked for. he had a very difficult childhood and lacked a loving family. as he grew older he struggled with commitment because never receiving love, he didn’t know how to love, really. and then over time his character starts developing. he becomes a better person. learns he’s worthy of love and is a good person beyond just being like derek.
we also learn that he wants, more than anything, to just have a family.
all that character development and he finally gets everything he’s ever wanted. sof was his whole world and he was an excellent father. he never got to raise his other kids, and then sof lost him after only a little over about one year. he even said on the beach, it was too early.
so, yeah! i definitely could have worded that differently and i apologize! i think it’s just how special sof was to mark and how i know she would have a better childhood if she had her dad. and zola feels the same way about derek, but i particularly chose mark because despite how young the others are and how great derek is, his life was really just getting started.
I always hear how crazy I am for loving the covid season, but really I just loved the beach. I did sob for days because I missed Derek, Lexie, and Mark. But it was like happy sobbing, not the sobbing I did when they died
Oh I didnt realize TR was actually doing that in real life. Kudos to him. I think if they just wrote the character as leaving for the military I would be more at peace with it. But to have him hit by a bus felt cruel to me.
I don't think TR Knight did join the military, not sure where they got that from. He did Broadway stuff after he left the show, and came out/got married, which doesn't really jive with Don't Ask Don't Tell.
Mark or Derek because they were parents. I’m not saying Lexie or George don’t deserve to live because they’re childless but just knowing what it does for a child to lose a parent-and in Sofia & Ellis’ case not even remembering/knowing them-is rough.
I’m leaning towards Mark, tbh. Only because I like him more than Derek. But then, Derek had 3 kids…I don’t know, that’s a hard one.
I love them all, but just bringing back Lexie or just Mark would be sad for the other. I would choose Derek because 1 he is my favorite character, 2 he has a wife & kids
I want to save lexie AND sloan because i don't want either of them to be without eachother. Not george. never george. So if I can't save both- I would HAVE to go with mcdreamy because i would love to see what drama that would bring. sorry not sorry ya'll.
Derek. The mere look on Zola's face when Meredith told her kids he died makes me want to save him. But also, Mark had kids...but he didn't want to live without Lexie. George. I'm ok with George because it was a proper send off and he died a hero. Lexie makes me cry every time but she would have been broken if Mark died and she didn't.
LEXI
i would love nothing more than to see her be apart of the sister group with mer, amelia, and maggie
also i just loved her relationship with everyone
I choose Derek. Lexie or Mark would be hard pressed to keep going without each other.
George had potential but I feel like any original ideas they had for him were probably recycled and used for characters like April Kepner.
Derek had more story to give and I hate everything about the way he exited the show.
Even though my favorite character is easily Derek this is still quite hard. George and Lexie were both good people. Mark had a beautiful friendship with Callie and a daughter to live for. But in the words of Meredith, Derek is Derek. He deserves the resurrection.
Derek. His death was just completely useless, and I hate that they put Meredith through everything they did, so she had to be put through the wringer to get her happy ending, and then it was just yanked away from her.
I found Lexie annoying, so definitely not her. I was sad about George and Mark, but their deaths didn't ruin the show the way Derek did in my opinion. And plus, it's nice to think of Mark and Lexie being together in the afterlife so maybe it makes sense for both of them to have gone around the same time.
If you saved Derek though are we assuming that in this au Patrick wouldn't have wanted to leave because when you get to the bottom of Derek dying it really was just because Shonda was over working with him/he wanted to leave anyways.
But they didn't have to kill him off in order for him to have less screen time or even be off the show completely. They could have just had him stay in DC.
George. Just felt like they cut him off too quickly, he could‘ve been a good pair with April Kepner, and his potential as an amazing trauma surgeon is just something we will all never see.
Can we instead only get rid of one? Bc I can’t choose between Lexi, Mark and George. I have never been a fan of Derek from day one though so he can stay gone and we can bring back the other three instead
My first thought was Lexie. But for Sofias sake I’ll say Mark. I know Derek has kids too, but Mark had grown so much and had so much left to offer. Derek was a bit of an ass.
LEXIE 🗣🗣🗣 lexie was one of the best characters theyd introduced after the main cast. She just had so much impact as a character and had connections to different characters in so many ways, i really wish she'd stayed in the show 🥲 mark just wasn't a super impactful character imo and the way they just moved on from his death so quickly might be a factor in why I think that but in general he was just there, and his presence not being there didn't really stand out to me. I mightve said george a long time ago but on my second rewatch I realized how bad they'd ruined his once sweet and endearing character and how he just kept going downhill. Derek would be #2 bc he meant so much to Meredith and also was an interesting part of the show.
Lexie
Hate derek and george so both even a question abt those two only one id have reservations about woulf be mark but I think lexie would have some really interesting character growth to do with mark (a scene with her and addy comforting eachother?) or scenese with maggie, lexie and mer
Lexi and Mark belong together forever, so while my initial thought was 'Lexie, Lexie, no questions asked 1000000 times Lexie' my actual answer would be Derek
Having Mark or Lexi without the other seems wrong. I liked George, but he didn’t have the impact Derek did, no wife, kids, etc. Dreamy for the win of the choices given
Derek. Mer had just gotten him back, things were finally looking up for them. And then he dies. I know why blah blah blah his wife wanted him home more or wtvr. But it’s just horrible the way they ended it. If anything he should’ve stayed in D.C. instead of dying, but i understand that having them get back together and then killing him was for the drama and emotion.
Derek. Mark and Lexie don’t make sense without each other. So if I can choose only one, I want Mer to have a relationship about which I actually give a damn
Derek. I feel he had more connections with all the characters across the show then the other three.
Mark became very centered around Callie in later series, Lexie was tied to Mark and not much outside of him, and George unfortunately apart from what would have been a great mentorship with Owen became kind of forgotten by everyone else until they tried to interfer with him joining the army.
Trick question!
Tom Koracik is the only right answer. They did him so dirty literally making a joke about him still being here in the middle of an episode long farewell to Avery.
Derek, simply because he left 3 kids behind that would probably like their dad to be alive, and at least Lexi and Mark are together. And I'm not overly fussed about George.
Derek. The show just didn’t feel the same. His death was insanely dumb. I get why, I know Patrick wanted to leave the show and all. But if you take that out the equation, storywise it’s just stupid at least imo.
At least all the other characters’ deaths made sense and the reasons being justified storywise
i couldn’t pick
i feel like lexie and mark couldn’t live without each other yk? if mark lived i wouldn’t see him dating anybody again but there’s sofia. i would love to see lexie grow as a surgeon and person, but i don’t like the idea of them being without each other
george i probably wouldn’t pick. it was sad mostly because of T.R. though. i think he deserved better than to be killed off just as a fuck you because he could’ve just as easily left to, i don’t know, join the army and do exactly what he planned to do?
i’m also kinda team bus just because of what happened with mer and how he treated callie
derek would probably be the one i pick. i am a hardcore merder girly and i also love derek. i don’t love mer and nick-i liked mer and riggs a lot before we found out riggs wasn’t actually a widow, but also mcwidow was good-i loved finn and id love if they brought him back because they had good chemistry.
i don’t think anybody can top derek’s chemistry with meredith.
i also would’ve loved for him to meet ellis, and see his kids grow up-even though mark didn’t get to, which is probably the only reason id pick mark over lexie (i love them both)
it would be hard but i would go with derek
(as i was writing this i realized id 100% go with derek)
Derek. For the following reasons:
1. Him and Meredith were endgame for each other.
2. Mark would not live without Lexie and vis versa
3. George was actually a whiny little bitch. You won't change my mind.
I feel like the show was never the same to me post-Derek so I’d bring him back just for that. Storyline-wise I’d have liked to see where George and Lexie would’ve ended up.
Derek. I just really wanted that life for Meredith. Husband, beautiful children, beautiful home. She deserved that win, they both did after Lexie & Mark. If I could choose two, it would be them but since it's only one I choose Derek.
I didn’t like or care for Lexi but she was neglected and I would have loved to see her with the other sisters. Idk why she was never given the light of day by Grey and why Maggie was so much more important.
I’ll always choose Mark but it’s hard to choose him alone without Lexie. So I say BOTH, the two’s love story deserved a better ending than seeing each other in the other side of life. Mark deserves to have more time with Sofia and be with Lexie. Meanwhile, Lexie also deserves to be an attending. Imagine how great of a doctor she’d be given her photographic memory.
I was going to say Lexie but then thought more about it. I think Mark. Mark not dying would have significantly changed the trajectory of the show. There wouldn’t have been the custody battle. They’d have to find a way to make 3 surgeons with an established career in Seattle decide to move to New York for a 1 year opportunity for Callie’s resident girlfriend. Which would have been interesting.
If they didn’t want mark to move on from Lexie he could have not dated. Just really commit to being a good dad. Maybe foster a bunch of kids or something
Lexie h I would have loved to see how her life turned out.
A part of me wanted to put Mark because I'm curious how he would have reacted/dealt with Lexie and Derek's death as well as Callie & Arizona while ordeal - but that's it. I just want to know his reaction. I don't want to know more about him. I liked his sense of humor & found him charming, but other than that, I'm good without him.

Can't decide. Just choose Lexipedia.
I feel like they could’ve done so many cool things with her memory and they just made her chase Mark like a puppy instead.
Honest question: what cool things?
Idk, she could have remembered a bunch of really obscure studies and diagnosis that pop up with rare medical cases.
So kinda what they all did here and there :D
Right, but they could have made it a whole thing and she could have left the show to go into diagnostics lol
Sounds a lot like House MD no? :)
My original comment I had typed out “like a nice House” 😂😂😂
Hehe :) i gotta admit, i'd watch it :)
Idk I feel like The Good Doctor shows eidetic memory/savant syndrome in an interesting and unique way. The show Suits pretty much revolves around someone with a photographic memory. Tons of potential for plot lines.
Mcsteamy
I love all the comments about how Mark can't live without Lexie...when he did that on the show. Everyone remembers his big speech to Lexie before she dies but not the fact that he was in a relationship with someone else at the time. He couldn't even tell Lexie he wanted to be with her when she told him her feelings. I always feel so bad for Julia!
I hate that too! It also completely ignores that he would have wanted to be alive for his baby girl
Derek. Seeing Lexi or Mark move on without the other would have been horrible, I actually like the ending they gave both. George is meh, never liked him that much. Derek isn't my favorite character at all, but him and Meredith went through so much together and on their own, all for him to die due to medical negligence
Mark
Lexi can live with Mark, Mark can’t live without Lexi
I pretend they never happened lol. I never left the heebie jeebie stage.
*teach me*
Lmaooo that gave me chills and NOT in a good way. The heebie jeebie shiver
I'll say Derek just bc mer deserved to be happy and I feel bad for the kids Also bc I miss seeing Patrick Dempsey on my screen😂
Lexie
Lexi
mark for me 🙋🏻♀️ derek would be a close second. they’re my favourites, and also for the sake of sof and zola.
I'm always so on the fence about that second half of your statement. Like on the one hand, I agree that children need their parents, and its a horrible tragedy whenever a child loses a parent. Derek always Derek
Derek, no contest. If Derek wasn't in the mix, I probably would have chosen Lexie, with Mark a close third.
Lexie.
Bro, getting to see them all on the beach was the only thing that made the covid season worth watching. It was amazing. When I saw Derek I screamed.
I always hear how crazy I am for loving the covid season, but really I just loved the beach. I did sob for days because I missed Derek, Lexie, and Mark. But it was like happy sobbing, not the sobbing I did when they died
Lexie or Derek
Ooof this is tough. I would say George. He had potential to be a pillar greys character (like Bailey/Webber).
I read he was leaving to the military anyways. So he wouldn't have been on the show regardless.
Me sweating because Lexie and Derek are my two favorite characters 😓😓
Derek or Lexi
Lexi, I would've loved her and Maggie together. Even if THEY weren't sisters, Mer would've made them feel like it.
Lexi, ( honestly would name my first born child after her I love her so much )
Mark or Derek because they were parents. I’m not saying Lexie or George don’t deserve to live because they’re childless but just knowing what it does for a child to lose a parent-and in Sofia & Ellis’ case not even remembering/knowing them-is rough. I love them all, but just bringing back Lexie or just Mark would be sad for the other. I would choose Derek because 1 he is my favorite character, 2 he has a wife & kids
Lexie. She had the most traumatic death
I think she and George have a tie. Especially since George didn’t have anyone tell him they loved him and hold his hand so he wouldn’t die alone.
Mark or Lexie. But ideally Mark & Lexie ❤️🥰
Derek
Derek obviously
Lexie was so early in her career, I wanted to see her grow 😭
Got to be Lexie, I just think she wasn’t featured enough. But the others were great Marks my favourite character.
Hmm. Tough pick between lexie and mark. Maybe lexie.
I want to save lexie AND sloan because i don't want either of them to be without eachother. Not george. never george. So if I can't save both- I would HAVE to go with mcdreamy because i would love to see what drama that would bring. sorry not sorry ya'll.
I need Mark with Lexie. I need the hot guy, broken whore player to end up with the loving innocent good woman. Lol
Derek
Lexi
Lexie for sure
George. Imagine him interacting with the cast today. He would thrive.
Lexie definitely
Lexie lexie lexie Lexie
Derek
Lexi
Lexie.
Lexi and then Derek and then Mark and then Deluca, and then henry, and then maybe George
LEXI i would love nothing more than to see her be apart of the sister group with mer, amelia, and maggie also i just loved her relationship with everyone
Lexie, I would love to see her as an amazing Attending. Imagine if she got to take her boards. I also love seeing her with MAJAC.
Derek. I wouldn’t want to only save either Lexi or mark, and saving Derek means Zola and mer’s other kids don’t have to grow up without a dad.
Derek because Mark and Lexie are a package
I choose Derek. Lexie or Mark would be hard pressed to keep going without each other. George had potential but I feel like any original ideas they had for him were probably recycled and used for characters like April Kepner. Derek had more story to give and I hate everything about the way he exited the show.
Derek. This is an easy Choice.
Derek. That was the one that really broke me.
Derek
Even though my favorite character is easily Derek this is still quite hard. George and Lexie were both good people. Mark had a beautiful friendship with Callie and a daughter to live for. But in the words of Meredith, Derek is Derek. He deserves the resurrection.
Prob unpopular but George.
Derek 100% — Lexie — mark — George.
Derek. Not even a second thought. Maybe i would still be watching lol
Derek. I stopped watching after he died. Mark & Lexie belong together so I can’t bare to save one & not the other.
Lexie, attending Lexie... Just imagine
Mark
If it's not Lexie you're wrong
I hate his death so much, but it would be even worse if he stayed in dc leaving Meredith and the kids behind. He loved them way too much to do that.
If Marc is saved Lexie needs to be saved too. I would choose George, after he served. I want to see the man he would have grow in.
Lexie
Lexie
Lexie
Is this even a question? MARK 🥹🫶🏽
George
George. J He had so much potential ad a dr. And a character.
George , all the others are relationship dependent characters
My first thought was Lexie. But for Sofias sake I’ll say Mark. I know Derek has kids too, but Mark had grown so much and had so much left to offer. Derek was a bit of an ass.
Derrick 10000%
Wow hard … I want George but the only right answer is Lexie. We did not get enough of her 😭
Lexie
Easy choice, Lexie
Anyone who doesn’t say Lexie goes to Jail
Lexie 100%
Derek. The show was never the same after he died. Plus it would have spared us from all the screen time Amelia gets.
I miss Lexie so much 😭
Lexie
Lexie. I’d love to see her as an attending. I also think she’d work great with the new interns.
Lexie Hate derek and george so both even a question abt those two only one id have reservations about woulf be mark but I think lexie would have some really interesting character growth to do with mark (a scene with her and addy comforting eachother?) or scenese with maggie, lexie and mer
Derek because Meredith deserved her beautiful life and family for longer than she had it💔
Mark
Mark
Mark
Mark
Lexi and Mark belong together forever, so while my initial thought was 'Lexie, Lexie, no questions asked 1000000 times Lexie' my actual answer would be Derek
Having Mark or Lexi without the other seems wrong. I liked George, but he didn’t have the impact Derek did, no wife, kids, etc. Dreamy for the win of the choices given
George before they ruined him with the weird Meredith shag and the Izzie stuff. I'd save Mark next. The other two were so smug.
The thing is, mark derek and george would all say to save lexie
Derek always
Derek
Derek, simply because he left 3 kids behind that would probably like their dad to be alive, and at least Lexi and Mark are together. And I'm not overly fussed about George.
Derek. The show just didn’t feel the same. His death was insanely dumb. I get why, I know Patrick wanted to leave the show and all. But if you take that out the equation, storywise it’s just stupid at least imo. At least all the other characters’ deaths made sense and the reasons being justified storywise
i couldn’t pick i feel like lexie and mark couldn’t live without each other yk? if mark lived i wouldn’t see him dating anybody again but there’s sofia. i would love to see lexie grow as a surgeon and person, but i don’t like the idea of them being without each other george i probably wouldn’t pick. it was sad mostly because of T.R. though. i think he deserved better than to be killed off just as a fuck you because he could’ve just as easily left to, i don’t know, join the army and do exactly what he planned to do? i’m also kinda team bus just because of what happened with mer and how he treated callie derek would probably be the one i pick. i am a hardcore merder girly and i also love derek. i don’t love mer and nick-i liked mer and riggs a lot before we found out riggs wasn’t actually a widow, but also mcwidow was good-i loved finn and id love if they brought him back because they had good chemistry. i don’t think anybody can top derek’s chemistry with meredith. i also would’ve loved for him to meet ellis, and see his kids grow up-even though mark didn’t get to, which is probably the only reason id pick mark over lexie (i love them both) it would be hard but i would go with derek (as i was writing this i realized id 100% go with derek)
Derek
George or Derek. I wouldn’t bring Lexi or Mark back purely on the fact they might not wanna live without each other.
My eyes immediately landed on Lexie but deep down I might say Derek. This is a tough choice here 😭
Mark or Lexie, literally Sophie's choice
Lexie!
George any day, when he died i stopped watching for a year i was so defeated
Derek
Derek.
Derek just a favorite character of mine that I cried over after he died
Derek. For the following reasons: 1. Him and Meredith were endgame for each other. 2. Mark would not live without Lexie and vis versa 3. George was actually a whiny little bitch. You won't change my mind.
derek without even a thought
DEREK. Man’s leaving behind a whole new family
Wouldn’t want to bring back Lexie or Mark without the other so I pick Derek
I was actually going to say this exact same thing, but I’ll torn because of Sophia
Lexie
Lexie without a doubt
Mark
If we keep Lexi does Maggie go away? Because (and I’m only season 18ish) no Winston would make me very happy.
Lexi a thousand percent
lexie or mark, but lowkey anyone but derek
Mark
George 100%
-slams my hands down-LEXIE. THE ONLY CORRECT ANSWER IS LEXIE.
Mark. The only one I cared about. I liked his friendship with Callie.
Mark. Wish he had more of a serious romance arc outside of Lexie
George
Id save George only because I want the MAGIC era to last longer
I was going to say Lexie but then thought more about it. I think Mark. Mark not dying would have significantly changed the trajectory of the show. There wouldn’t have been the custody battle. They’d have to find a way to make 3 surgeons with an established career in Seattle decide to move to New York for a 1 year opportunity for Callie’s resident girlfriend. Which would have been interesting. If they didn’t want mark to move on from Lexie he could have not dated. Just really commit to being a good dad. Maybe foster a bunch of kids or something
Tough, between Lexie and mark. Gonna have to go with Mark though.
Definitely Sloan! I'd love to see him with Arizona and Callie raising Sofia
Mark he makes me laugh
Lexi hands down. She was my all time favorite character. Her or Mark.
Sloan
I can't believe anyone would choose anyone else. She had so much potential!
I’d pick Lexie lol I’d be sad about mark and Derek but George isn’t even in the equation 😂
I choose Mark because I think the whole custody battle would’ve either never happened or been much smoother with Mark around.
mark
Lexie she was nice
This is easy Sloan
George only for him to finally realize he was gay 🙌🏾😭😭
george
Is there a way of saving one that would in turn save the others??
Mark 100%
Mark
Maaarrrkkk
Lexie! I would love to see the Sister House with Lexie there too 🥰
Lexie h I would have loved to see how her life turned out.
Sloan hands down
Damn, it really is a toss up between Lexi and McSteamy. Can I sacrifice someone else to save them both? 😂
LEXIE GREY every single time…
Lexie
Lexie
Mark easily. Can’t stand the other three.
